It seems the forum rules are kind of different here. I am okay with that. He appealed to remove the strike and his appeal was accepted. He said that he translated the post from a Vietnamese source but didn't provide the link to the Vietnamese source. I suggested he add a source even if the post is translated from a local language so he can avoid report for plagiarism. I have checked his post history and it seems he added sources to his posts.

You are welcome to help us making our forum better! But please don't divide users on teleported and not teleported, please cooperate in your violation hunt with all and catch those who violate without differentiating on teleported or not.

That's right, we tend to give users the second chance if they correct their behavior. Main goal of penalties is not in punishing but in making our forum more clean and comfortable for us all.

This topic has over 30 pages and these are just finds from the regular users sent not in the reports. I'd not say we didn't take things seriously even before the fresh blood.

Well, maybe both cases are not the most obvious plagiarism, because some words have been changed. But the fact is that both posts are completely useless and I see them as spam.
User Mimi already has a "Watched" badge, which means that the moderators have noticed it. Considering that she is a new member, maybe she is still getting used to the forum, so I would give her another chance. Maybe she should be directed to this topic so that she can see her mistakes and still have time to fix them.

Awtzu203 copied the text from the Unijoin site in their ANN thread and it is very difficult to explain what he wanted to achieve with it. Since he is not in a campaign, the number of posts is not decisive for him, unless he wants to reach a forum rank acceptable in campaigns as soon as possible.

To me, this is seen as a mistake by new Mini users or spam from Awtzu203. Can we tag them in a warning message on AltcoinsTalks Telegram? +20% Warning is an appropriate warning instead of punishment from the first mistake, after all AltcoinsTalks is also a friendly forum.

You are right @Don Pedro Dinero. The user has plagiarized several paragraphs from a website without citing the source. I just gave him a warning and - karma. He also has 1 strike, if any of his next posts are plagiarized again he will have the second strike. Thank you very much for letting us know and helping us improve.

While users like this are receiving only strikes from mods, I will add all members like this to my personal ignore list if they keep repeating with plagiarism and low quality posts.

I would love to see some statistic for members who are most active with reporting stuff to moderators, not only by posting in topics but by using Report to moderator button.
