I find it interesting that ETH price started going up weeks prior to hard fork after the hard fork it looks to be consolidating and now moving back up again. what could be the factors to this price movement? I like it though, very good for quick trades.Anybody notice a change in performance or speed of ETH? I have not move any of my ETH so far, I really can't tell yet.

I read a lot of different posts in this forum about when cryptocurrency replaces fiat money, and thinking about it I had more and more questions about how the world will work without fiat money. And some questions really bother me, as I still do not see any obvious answers to them. Suppose that Bitcoin has become the dominant currency in the world and all other currencies have simply disappeared. What should people do if in the event of a cataclysm or natural disaster people are left without light? Moreover, whole cities and regions may remain without light. Suppose that the light in these cities can not be restored quickly. How will the purchase of goods, food, money transfer? Or another situation. The world accepted Bitcoin as the main cryptocurrency, miners pooled and formed a monopoly syndicate, and raised fees for transferring funds. I do not know how technically possible this is, but this question worries me. If you have answers to these questions, I will be glad to hear them.

It has been 3 years since I first got into Bitcoin, and ever since I began using it, I've became fascinated by its underlying technology that could change our daily lives as time goes by.

Nevertheless, it is to say that while I know how to use Bitcoin, as well as how it works, there are still some concepts about the blockchain that I would need to understand, to help become a blockchain expert in the future.

So, I would like to know your recommendations or advice, that would help me get started into this field. If you happen to know of any good resource, or source of information that will help me accomplish this task, I would greatly appreciate if you would share it with me.

Is this how it should be done now? Should we just report copied posts by new members directly to moderators instead of posting it here?

Please post the reports also here. Most of the mods are following this topic. And of course after mod will do his/her action on the reported post, we (other mods) must look deeper into the moderation log. And here we and also other users have a great overview of plagiarizm posts.

As mnixxo said above, it helps having the reports quoted and layed out properly here for evidence sake. FYI If it's in any of the sections i'm moderating (beginners/bitcoin/altcoins) then feel free to report them also if you want topics/posts trashed quickly, as I'm not always following this thread. Keep up the good work.

Many people around Bitcoin that have been influenced by the censorship and propaganda campaigns love to say that I'm trying to hurt Bitcoin in order to pump alt coins.

Stop and think for a moment.
If I own a large number of Bitcoins, and  Bitcoin.com ,  that means I'm financially motivated to do everything I can to improve the value of those assets.
This is unlike Adam Back, the CEO of Blockstream, who by his  own admission , and despite having known about Bitcoin for about 5 years due to being contacted by Satoshi himself in 2008, he didn't own a single Bitcoin himself in April of 2013.  I doubt he has many bitcoins now either.
Compare that with someone like myself who spent nearly every penny I had buying Bitcoin as soon as I learned about them in 2011.
Adam Back can run circles around me when it comes to the underlying mathematics of Bitcoin,  but he has demonstrated by his own actions that he has absolutely no clue why Bitcoin came to be used as money, and to this day he still doesn't understand why Bitcoin is money. Sadly, his firm has done an incredible amount of harm to Bitcoin's adoption rate and has caused Bitcoin's market share to plummet from around 90% to less than 50% today.
Bitcoin is the only coin in the world to ever have had full blocks.
If we want to experiment with the effects of full blocks on a system,  it is incredibly reckless to do it on Bitcoin, yet that is exactly what Adam and his ilk have done.  If we want to experiment with full blocks, do it on an alt coin!
