Anyway, I am surprised to know another rank above the legend rank. Is this rank really needed? I think there is no urgent need or necessary thing to have this rank. We have already had mythical, is that not enough? @admin

Oh really, I didn't know about that rank until this topic. Maybe it's a specialty that can't be found anywhere else. But damnn, does it require 10,000 posts, doesn't it? It takes me decades to achieve such a number of posts.

Not really, other ranks retain their original values. Mythical and Padawan are for a small number of people. Meanwhile, other ranks are the aims of the rest. When Padawan rank is as popular as other ranks now, that's when the lower become cheap.

I agree with you guys. There is a mythical rank above legend. It is more than enough. Even other forums have no that rank above legendary. If the bounty managers know about it, lower ranks will be cheaper and cheaper. In fact, member rank and full member rank in altcoinstalks forum equal with newbie in bitcoin talk forum lately. Please consider @admin.

Mythical and Padawan are for a small number of people

It is a small number now but will be more and more in the future. Anyway, even they are still a few but it has already affected bounty stakes.

If you've paid attention in the past ranking discussion, admin already mentioned about another rank higher than mythical. I think that was discussed about the same time the mythical rank was first "found out". 

These added rankings are obviously meant to encourage users to remain active.

I think it isn't an effective way to make users be more active. Mythical is enough if the reason to encourage users to be active. It is hard to achieve, only a few users can be there so far. Anyway, users become active not about the high ranks but commonly about bounties. IMO

Di don't know if all of people are here just for bountiesbut about my end, I'm fine with current ranking system. And even if people are here for bounties, I don't think bounties are available all time. Mythical and Padawan are their targets aside from bounty time.

It is not only about bounty but how to make this forum be appreciated the same as other forums. Do you ever think about this? Or you always accept to be considered inferior to other forums? Think about it, mate!!

It all boils down to personal reasons why users are here in this forum. Those who don't think about the signature incentives (or even reputation) these rankings brings, they probably would not care whether there's Mythical, Padawan, or even a higher one. For those who do, it obviously matters a lot.

Admin has reason/s for the rankings and I support that.

That's an issue of beyond my reach. How old is this forum in comparison with the other? Does this forum have accounts of Satoshi, Vitalk...? What makes a forum prestige is not its ranks, it's history and legacy. At least for now Mythical and Padawan make Altcoinstalks different from other forums. You can't get your respect if you are just a copycat.

If you meet criticism and misunderstanding of your idea that does not mean you are not welcomed suggesting new ideas, sharing your opinions. It just means that other forum users can have other opinions and have a right not only to support some ideas, but to criticize also.
