Altcoinstalk.com is too Complicated

I don't think its complicated but yes a bit different specially for people coming from Bitcointalk.org.  I can see lots of people (including me) coming from Bitcointalk.org and it will be a matter of time before we all will get used to this environment also.

That's what I mean. Just because it's different doesn't mean it's complicated, it's just that new users aren't used to it. But that is something that lasts a short time since adapting is not difficult and there are always mods and users willing to help. In a few hours new users will be able to navigate the forum without problems and do what they want with the existing features and some new ones that will be implemented in the future.

If you have spent time on bitcointalk.org then there wont be much issue in posting here, both sites are using BBCode. I am still exploring this site and so far found it great.

This forum is too complicated to understand and there are too many ads. The registration process too is complicated. Any time when some is making a post, the person must make a verification and that is very bad.

I see that you teleported your account if not It's not complicated, you just found it difficult because you're new to the forum. However, after you've posted five times or more now it will no longer show that again.

Nice to hear that. Many things need to put together before the real traffic will come next. I really like your activeness in the forum. And every user of the forum has a rule to play for the smooth run of the forum. Mostly obeying the rules and asking questions.

Honestly, it worth to commend the level of activeness of the admins here. Having active and responsive admins will definitely contribute to the growth of that industry or company. My experience with the admin here was very smooth and I other forums and especially our other crypto related platforms such as exchanges to emulate it and make things easier for the users.

I'm sure your Bitcointalk journey wasn't easy as a newbie to navigate as well, but don't worry with time you will get used to the whole set up. This is a modern forum and mobile friendly compared to Bitcointalk.

This is because you have spent a lot of time on bitcointalk and are used to how that forum works. In a few days you will see this forum the same, you will have no problem using it. It's just a matter of getting used to it, something that really won't cost you more than a few hours browsing the forum.

And especially if you are human, the CAPTCHA provided by Altcoinstalk.com is not complicated, you should have no problem filling it in because it is very easy to understand.

Other users have already answered. For new users, the captcha will be filled for a temporary period and will not be activated after the specified activity. This is mainly designed to prevent spam posters ‍and also, I think this forum is very friendly. It may seem different for a while to the newbies or new commers but after a few days of use anyone will be able to adapt themselves nicely. The ads do not create any inconvenience for the users. I believe you might start to think it's normal after a few days later of use.

I expected this complaint from a user and I have seen it. While the forum seem complicated for the user is because the user has been familiarised with bitcoin forum. So, Op expected to see a replica of BTT in all ramifications but that's not possible. We must acknowledge that this is a separate forum.I was frustrated by the repeated captcha but cool it didn't take long until it disappeared. So, that shouldn't be a problem to anyone.
The area I am having issues is that there are numerous boards and there's no adequate notification system. It is easy to miss out on a conversation you are involved.

The reason for the captcha has already been explained, what happens is that some users are not used to it and they think that it is something they will always have to do before posting.

As for losing a conversation you're involved in, you can easily fix that.At the top left you will see in red: Show new replies to your posts. « which will take you to this link: https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?action=unreadreplies . Where you can see all the posts in which you have participated.

Am new member  here what I felt to understand  during my registration  process I didn't face any challenge cus the  link is very friendly to access,most interface that surface his easily accessible.After all the process his done the term and condition are clearly stated.

what you need to understand in this forum,you could done some little research or either by asking question once you done will  familiar with on line stuffs,so that can easily access webpage.

I find it quite challenging to navigate this forum because the interface is much different and fancier than btt forum I know.
What is helping me so far is the fact that I just come online and try to spend much time clicking from one board to another to better understand how I can contribute.


One thing about those who have become experienced with btt forum is that they already know what to say, how to say it and when to say it on the forum to gain merits, so doing same here and growing accustomed to the procedures will come as tacit knowledge.

im only on here for 1 day and i have a fairly good grasp of where different things are located.

tbh i cant understand how anyone would post their frustrations after being only here for a very short space of time.

its a forum with different sections, how difficult can it be?
