You are right, looks like Mixtum uses strong configuration now that's why it shows the site is still down. I hope the downtime will be minimal or will be prevented now. And tor site is now working too, i just checked it now, which is a great news.

Mixtum website is back online for me.
I didn't try mixing so I can't confirm if everything is operational, but it opens all the pages just fine.

Ah yeah, it's just temporary and I can't do anything to that as my resources is limited. It will be fixed some time later by it's own, this happen when there is a huge traffic on the site and it breaks lmao. Thanks for the heads up.

Try reducing time how often you check on website, 30 minutes or 1 hour is enough I think.
Maybe you can make dedicated page for all mixers that can be monitored if website is available or not.

It is great that the MixTum website is back up and running. I can check Clearnet, it is accessed quickly and works as well as before. Thank MixTum team for taking action and solving this problem.

I do not use Tor onion link, honestly I can't wait for onion link loading  This is not really important to me because VPN + Clearnet is enough for all my needs ^^

The onion version of the page loads quite quickly if we take into account how "complicated" Tor is compared to VPN, so although this speed also depends on the nodes through which the traffic is redirected, in my case it is about 15 seconds on average. However, in the era of super fast internet where everyone expects the page to load in 1-2 seconds, those 15 seconds (or more) can really seem like an eternity

About a month ago, Jambler did a slightly bigger upgrade (Mixtum is a Jambler partner). Somehow, during that period, certain problems appeared, that is, the occasional unavailability of the Mixtum site.
Each upgrade often brings some new bugs, I think that was the cause of the problem. But that can also be considered as my speculation.

I think the tool is from amlbot.com as per the screenshot?

I put the address showed on icopress's screenshot and checked the score with Crystal. It gives a perfect score too (which is not common as even casino are considered as not green for example).
It seems that coins were supplied by a regulated CEX. Jambler worked as promised on this one.


Indeed, it is very good. I will check with UniJoin and some other next time I will mix coins, curious to do the comparison.

If the service you are sending coins to has a sufficient score from Chainanalysis or Amlbot, then you have nothing to worry about. Most services that insist on clean Bitcoins use the same or similar method.

Normally, I only mix BTC when I need anonymity, not necessarily legal security, but for users who are concerned about the cleanliness of BTC after mixing, MixTum can guarantee this.

It is highly not recommended to use Bitcoin addresses of custodial services (campaign). Mixtum clients are really safe, but I wouldn’t say the same about the participants campaign.

I am a manager and process weekly payments for casino campaigns, mixers, exchange and all these funds are mixed and stored in a cold wallet.

I must mention that these were transactions that went to CEXs (some people still use custodial services as wallets), and this means that all these centralized services may pay much more attention to large amounts, while a few tens or hundreds of $ generally pass under their radar.

Still, it's good to see that MixTum has such high standards when it comes to coins that are obtained during mixing, which means that the fee for their service is well worth it.

We should be careful. Operating like this is still relatively risky, because you could very well go under the radar for a while, and at the first AML/CTF flag a new deposit raises, you could find yourself having to justify everything, even past transactions that hadn't been blocked.
Some people have had this problem on the other forum with campaign signature funds ; all goes well until the day when the person sourcing the funds ends up on a list from a three-letter agency..
