Ethereum Forum / Re: When Next?

Also, take into account that another delay is possible. No one can really know how much time it would take to fix all the problems discovered just before the planned January hardfork.

There's so much institutional money entering the space, I really can't see the bear run going on forever.

But, if it does... not much to do but cut your loses or wait longer. :)

Basic Questions about Cryptos / Re: 5 Years From Now in Crypto?
« on: January 21, 2019, 04:44:40 PM »
It's impossible to predict where current cryptos will be in 5 years and what their value will be. What I do believe is that cryptocurrencies are here to stay, and that they will replace our current monetary system. Unfortunately, I also believe that it will be government controlled cryptos that will do that. :(

Crypto Reviews / Re: ICO 2017 vs ICO 2018
« on: January 20, 2019, 06:38:45 PM »
I think the situation is very different between ico 2017 and 2018, ico 2017 is more interested in dealing with ico so many ico are successful, 2018 on the contrary, more and more ico investors are reduced so many ico are failing or scam

Before  comparing with ICO project with 2017 to 2018 at first we need to know about the successful ICO project. In the middle of 2017 there were several successful ICO project and the earlier of 2018 there are also had some successful ICO project. But i think 2018 had numerous ICO project.

I think ico 2017 and 2018 are the same, which only distinguishes market conditions. 2017 have a lot of successful ico projects, while 2018 the influence of the crypto market is not very good, it has an effect on the current ico project.

I'd agree with this only if by "successful" you guys consider those ICOs successful in raising ETH or BTC, and not necessarily those that have successful projects. :) Otherwise I'd disagree. I think projects that are still alive and started in bear market are much less likely to be scammy, and their teams probably have ideas on how to make the project profitable.

Bitcoin Cash Forum / Re: Bitcoin Cash vs Bitcoin!
« on: January 20, 2019, 06:33:02 PM »
For more profit I think BCH would give you more than Bitcoin because they always pump at very high percentage. BCH is also cheaper than Bitcoin so it will give you more wage on the funds you have too
Bitcoin Cash was deliberately split away from bitcoin by a team that thought high fees and slow transactions would eventually destroy bitcoin. But i see potential in Bitcoin Cash.

Which fork though? I've used BCH before, but lost faith in it completely after the fork. The whole BCH vs BSV environment doesn't seem healthy at all.

Like many others, I doubt ETH can hit $1000 this year.

I doubt this year will be a bull year, but hopefully it will be better than 2018.

I'm hoping and find it reasonable for 2020 though.

Ethereum Forum / Re: ETH to hold now or not?
« on: January 20, 2019, 04:46:55 PM »
In my mind now is the right time to buy. It should increase in value once Constantinople hardfork actually gets activated (as far as I've seen, new date suggested is late February this year).
