@notblox1, @babo. There are different points of view and opinions, another thing is the technical part. I understand what you mean and I partially agree with you, but if the problem is the size of the badges, a solution would be the possibility of hiding them. I suppose it's technically possible, although the admin should say whether it's feasible or not, or maybe adjust the size of all of them to make them a little smaller. But I think that even if it were possible and the administrator could implement such an option, maybe not all users would use it and you would still see all the badges in different profiles.

I really like badges, even seeing them is a sort of medal
that is, we tolerate signatures and then complain about badges
but if you want they can make a greasemonkey script that hides them, it takes a moment and we don't have to bother the admin for this trivial stuff

Well, I think you wanted to be cautious here, as quality is difficult to measure, but I think for those of us who visit the forum there has been an increase in quality with the teleported people. But whether it's a little or a lot is another matter, because it's something that can't be measured, it's not like visits.

No No, I don't have any problem with the teleportation badge, it's just a fact I was sharing there with OP, I was just trying to indicate the behavior of old members towards new ones, which is loving. I did not mean to say anything that could wage war (dear babo). I also want the forum to grow and be a part of it.

You've only been here for a short time, but you've probably noticed that things are very different and that both the users and the forum staff are more approachable. As you can see that the rules here are the same for everyone, regardless of rank, something that unfortunately doesn't happen on other forums. You'll experience all of that for yourself when you spend more time with us.

In terms of knowledge I believe Bitcointalk surpasses this forum but if you take a good look at Bitcointalk you’ll notice that new projects are not always welcomed in a friendly manner over there - most new altcoins are being labeled as scam and that’s why you see very little project making Ann there as compared to when the forum was still very friendly to new projects.

But here in altcointalk, new projects are always welcome and they have the freedom to post and showcase what they have to offer without being criticized or called a scam.

Well, are you blaming Bitcointalk for exposing scams? You have to understand why those projects were labeled as scams. Of course, there is something wrong with the project. If they did nothing wrong but were labeled as scams, there is always an opportunity for those projects to explain why they are not scams and why the community should trust them.

If altcoinstalks do welcome scam projects, do you see anything good in it? Bitcointalk does not even moderate scams. Only community members care about those projects and that's why they tag those accounts. On the other hand, altcoinstalks moderate scams. So, I don't understand what is your point.

The quality will sure increase once there's increased traffic and once there are more good source projects that aren't scam and allowed to run their signature campaigns here or once there's other paying ways the community members can earn while they perform few tasks and engage with one another in this forum, then there will be noticed growth.

I wasn’t even referring to those projects that have been proven to be scams if it was just the scammy ones then it would have been great, in the eyes of bitcointalkers mostly the OGs that have stayed and experienced different eras of crypto projects they usually look at all altcoin as a scam.

That is clearly the significant difference between both platforms. BTT happens to be a very expansive space where members checkmate each other, making manipulation kind of difficult for those who are into it. Another thing I've noticed about the BTT community is their overzealous attitude towards Bitcoin, sometimes portraying altcoin projects negatively. Well, we can't really blame some of them.

I don't think altcointalks would want to tread in same part where members are consistently attacking new projects. Altcoinstalks needs more engagement and development, so those in charge wouldn't want to take any risks in driving away potential partnerships.

Probably you have spent a lot of time on those ANN threads and seen such discussion. But, if you ask me, I haven't seen any announcement thread where old Bitcoin members called them out without any reason or evidence. Well, I have seen in other boards that they say that most of the altcoins are scams (which is true), but, they do not go to any specific thread to tell them that you are running a scam project without any proof. When a project publishes a whitepaper with plagiarism in it and fake team member photos, don't you think that it's another scam altcoin project? I don't think the real project will do copy paste job.

Yeah, I have been here for a short period of time but I did notice a lot of things that are different here, and I liked them, but not at the start, because at the start it was a little difficult for me to move around but now I begin to like this forum a lot, as there are many good threads here, and I enjoy reading them. And talking about rules, I can see they are different too.

I have seen many members (teleported) wanted to see the same feature they see on BTT and I am also one of them, but I think not everything should be improved according to that forum as ALTT has its own reputation now, plus the admin here is so active while there is less.
