I have read a news report today that says, Ripple's XRP is not a real cryptocurrency like Bitcoin and other prominent coins that we know and listed on exchanges, as well as, on CoinMarketCap.com.

Maybe, you're referring to CryptoBlimp, a commenter and not the writer (Amanda). And I think he's right that the writer seems bias, as she lacks knowledge about Ripple and/or XRP.

yes mate, I was talking about him. I think ripple has good reputation and also they are doing well in the banking sector. I don't think that the report is correctly done.

Te article is explaining the potential of ripple that it can be on top behind bitcoin and ethereum, showing the strength of ripple tat can damage bitcoin and ethereum  as they believe the real crypto currency. So i think this is just purposely made just to protect bitcoin because ripple influence can be a threat to bitcoin and to others.

The only reason I can say is because ripple is supported by the bank and no more no less. And I think this is just a way to weaken the potential of ripple.

Yes I think ripple is bank coin. It is stable.coin and good for short term and day trading.

I think the news is not very real, because I believe that XRP is a good coin like any other coin we know.
