While mixing BTC, MixTum.io does not shuffle available funds in one or multiple pots, but exchanges incoming bitcoins with coins purchased from investors -  cryptocurrency stock exchanges. ANN thread.

Summary:

- Pick a slot
- Once a block is selected, we will use bitmover’s tool for a fair and transparent draw.

Maybe I forgot (or didn't notice before), but it seems to me that MixTum added a new mix mode called Precise Payment. As far as I can see, it is about the possibility to pay someone directly from the mixer - what do you think about this option?

I think it's a great idea! It allows us to pay someone directly while limiting fees (it removes one transaction compared to mixing/receiving of funds + sending to X) and, above all, it prevents the recipient from knowing your BTC address/funds, which I really like, with the certainty that the coins won't be frozen thanks to the way Jambler works. A great way to spend your signature campaign sats if you want to pay for online services, for example :P

Hi all, it is fun to see how its going.

Our site is currently down at the moment. When it comes back I will reply back to this forum so the contest can keep going!

Indeed, I saw today that your website is under maintenance and was going to ask for updates from you. Hope you will be back online soon!

That is true on ethereum blockchain, but I am not sure how if it works that way on all other blockchains.

As far as I know, USDT can be frozen on ETH and TRON too.
For the curious ones, you can have a look on USDT banned addresses here: https://dune.com/phabc/usdt---banned-addresses . This is why people should use DAI instead of USDT in my opinion (EU users, be careful USDT will be banned in June for the whole EU).

Exchanging coins to usdt I think is always safe.
All usdt are supposedly clean
I understand the logic, but in my opinion in this case, using Mixtum or any Jambler based mixer would be better from a "privacy perspective", or swapping BTC for XMR and back to BTC again (but would probably be expensive to pay for the 2 swaps + network fees).

I would like to quote a message from eXch that mentions the same scammer and an other exchange that seems to be shady:

Quote from: eXch
We have recently discovered that some service named "MrStork" has advertised an exchange platform on this forum with a rip off of our web-design. While we have no evidence (for now) that this specific service is a scam scheme, we believe it is a potential scam scheme since nobody with proper ethics would blatantly rip-off other service's web-design and advertise as a new platform.

There was already an "exchange" that ripped off our design completely called SWP[.]CX and was proven to belong to a known scammer (more information here https://anir0y-scams.info). There are however already some signs that "MrStork" might be related to that scammer. We also believe that MrStork might be responsible for recent DDoS attacks targeting eXch because the stylometrics used in their announcement thread match emails containing threats we received from the DDoSer.

We strongly recommend avoiding any services that are blatant and obvious copycats of other known and established services.

Première baisse significative de la difficulté depuis le halving: un peu plus de 5%.

Pour le moment, on se dirige vers une nouvelle augmentation de la diff sur la prochaine période, environ 4%

They can't check everything (all coin history). They would block a lot of people who doenst even know what mixers are  , and probably even block coins that came from another cex. Mixers exist for a long time  and the amount of coins whi has ever been in casinos or mixers is enormous.

I've worked in the Risk department of a CEX, and all transactions were analyzed by an AML/CTF algo. On the other hand, it's a set of factors more than the transaction itself that can lead to the transaction being frozen. Each user has a Risk Score based on the frequency of deposits/withdrawals, the amounts, the origin of deposits, their country of residence, and the SoF questionnaire they filled in on registration (income, expected volumes on the platform, etc.). Clearly, coins with a history with a casino or mixer aren't a problem if they're the user's only red flag, but if other flags are present, they'll use this as a pretext to justify asking for the origin of the funds.

What good do the cards do when their service is presumably dead? Do you think UniJoin will be back? Or they are gone for good. Either way, it's sad to see so many services related to crypto is going down.  :'( :'(

This raffle started before UniJoin closed the service, so we finished what we started, but yeah this is the reason why this raffle is the last one.
I have no idea if UniJoin will come back or not, I personally don't believe it as I imagine they probably received some pressure to stop their activity, and a lot of P2P/privacy oriented services did the choice to shutdown recently (UniJoin, AgoraDesk, LocalMonero etc...etc...)..

I have the feeling that at some point, we're at a turning point and that the whole P2P world (I mean P2P related to cryptocurrencies swaps/trades) is going to have to adapt quickly if it doesn't want to disappear.
