Today we see xrp in 4th place. May be ripple will recover it's place and starting to improve....

I believe that in this regard, you need to take advantage of the situation in order to make good profits thanks to the ripple, but you should not build too high hopes on XRP, since personally I do not trust the future prospects of this coin.

in my opinion, the current rise in ripple and reaching 4th place looks very suspicious at the moment when ces filed a lawsuit against the company. It seems to me that here it smells of another manipulation.

Perhaps after February and their fight with sec, they might be able to take back such position but for now I will prefer everyone to be neutral, even JP Morgan has delisted the coin from their trust fund.

I think such claims and conflicts can not be settled quickly. I think it will be a long lasting process. The only way to settle it quick is to pay the fine, but Ripple wont be glad to do it. SEC wont let go Ripple also easily, as it will be a big hit on their reputation. I think it will take months, or half a years to officially settle Ripple and SEC case. I dont expect Ripples price to go back to 50-60 cents soon and go up.

That's what we would all like, that XRP regains the confidence it had before, for Ripple to take on the SEC and for legal problems to come down to nothing. That can happen if all goes well, but I don't think it's quick, this problem can last for months and even years.

No, Xrp is not a weak little coin. Ripple is a strong coin, it will definitely rise again. I believe it will happen, because the public still believes in Xrp even though yesterday Xrp had a problem with the SEC which caused many exchanges to delist this coin.

That it is still in 4th position without losing much of its capitalization and the unit price makes me think that it cannot collapse due to the panic of its users.

After that bad news from SEC, XRP may fall a bit but it held its position in CMC very effectively. We also saw some pump from that token too after such bad news about it.

What I think is happening when the price goes up is that there are people accumulating as much as possible. The exchanges from which the trade and XRP pairs will be removed are only those based in the United States. Maybe. I am skeptical to that which the current xrp condition could tell us its reliability and confidence to overcome every difficulties from SEC. Despite of serious damage and delisting news Ripple manage to maintain the rank #4 position. Supposedly after bad news the rank should crash below rank #5 but it didn't happen.

Ripple is pumping up and down and the main pump is still remaining because of the SEC issue the XRP stoped and the second issue is that the coinbase announce to delist it. IF the SEC allegation somehow removed then XRP will surely pump up.

Yes, XRP has dropped to fifth place in the CoinMarketCap table, behind Polkadot. Now the price of ripple has dropped to $ 0.27, and its capitalization level is also falling. It seems that the manipulations of the Ripple Labs management did not like the main mass of users of this coin.

Yes, I see ripple has good recovery after crash, But polkadot has overtaken ripple for number #4. By seeing the ripple progress now and negative issue. I think rippe will go down and be replaced by several altcoin like litecoin..

XRP is number #5 now mate, number #4 is polkadot.XRP was defeated by polkadot at last month. I think you should check on CMC again. Ripple has negative issue., I think ripple will go down again. I agree with you.

I am sure that if Ripple comes out of the lawsuits smoothly, XRP will not only remain one of the greats, but will go way beyond where it has gone so far. The only thing we can do is be patient and wait.

Yes, ripple has bounced back again to number #4. I don't think ripple could thorough the SEC problem and several issue..Maybe it because ripple has been supported by banks and has big communities.

No, ripple is going down to number 5 now. Cardano has overtaken ripple. Cardano is really going by strong now and ripple is still struggling because the SEC issue. Maybe It will take several time to go up

Ripple is still recovering now, cardano has overtaken for number 4. I see cardano is very potential and I think Cardano is very close to beat tether USDT. Let's see, I think cardano will overtake tether at this month.

I see ripple is struggling now, Ripple is going down to number #7 at CMC. I think ripple will take several months to go back number #4, But It is really difficult. BNB cardano polkadot are doing well on the market now.

Yes, You're right ripple is doing well on the market now..Ripple is going down to number #7 but ripple price is $ 0.57. It is really good for ripple. Several investors still believe ripple will touch $ 1 at this year

No, I see there are several potential coin have overtaken ripple now. Ripple is number #7 now. Maybe ripple still has recovery now. It will take several months to bounce back be top 5 coin and good for trading.

I doubt think Ripple to overtake Binance this season where BNB is in uptrend position that possible to hit new all time high again. I know it is still possible but maybe it will happen in the future once the momentum shift from BNB to XRP.

The amount of money that this project moves, the number of private and institutional investors that XRP has, the support of Japan, and the billions of dollars that it moves every day make this project cannot be forgotten. First week of April 2021 Ripple is at the beginning to pump the coin. Assuming you bought at the price $0.3 and few months ago and hold unto this days. Big profit is gain because Ripple now while writing is $0.91. Ripple will go back to higher position again once the market cap is greater than the other top coins.

Xrp now at 7 rank. I don't think to hit $50 soon or in a short time. The price fluctuate but will not fly just as you think to hit $50. Possible after 10 years. Cardano is another potential coin but still below $5. Currently the price is $0.86 still down.

Hitting new ATH is quiet achievable than dreaming $50 in a short time. Agree, once XRP solved the case the price will increase to bring back what was lost. Possible new partnership and cycle will give birth for Ripple. Product is more important next is the price.

Yes, ripple is already in seventh place on the CoinMarketCap table. However, this is not the fault of this coin. Binance coin (BNB), Solana (Sol) and Cardano (ADA) came out ahead, not counting the stablecoin Tether, which have fairly high functional qualities and popularity.
Until ripple's lawsuit ends positively, this coin is unlikely to receive a significant boost in price growth. In fact, now it repeats the price movements taking place in the market as a whole.

You are correct with the data you provide, but you must bear in mind that this thread was created in January of this year, and when it was written XRP was in 4th place. The SEC published its statement against Ripple just a few days before (on December 22, 2020), so at that time the market was not affected by the consequences that we have been seeing for several months. Personally I hope that everything is fixed soon and XRP returns to the place it deserves.

Ripple is now in the sixth position in terms of capitalization and it is unlikely that this coin will be able to improve its position. The capitalization of ripple is 27.7 billion dollars, while BNB, which is on the fourth position, has 58.5 billion dollars, and ethereum 309.5 billion dollars. Now ripple is in a good seventh place and most likely, this is the limit of this coin. I don't think XRP will drop below the top 10, the coins/tokens below should go up a lot, and that's not going to happen with the current market. But the position in CMC is not something that worries me either, for me the important thing is how the problem with the SEC will be resolved, if finally and as some Ripple managers have said, it ends well, XRP will go back up and we may see new ATHs when the market turns and grows again, now everything is a matter of patience.
