I think so, because that like make a stock of Bitcoin which circulate to be little and that can be make the price increase, but this will be not give an effect if the buyers just a little bit, and if many peoples do this we can feel the effect from this.
And day by day the stock of bitcoin will become little because mining process and that make Bitcoin become rare, and as long the demand is high the price will be increase.

If it happens that many people are holding bitcoins and the supply circulation becomes low or shortage this will make big impact to the crypto market and I'm sure bitcoin price will rapidly rise "the law of demand and supply will apply" as the supply decreases the price is increasing.
