How to explain altscoinstalks to Beginners?

I do not understand why you should be having a hard time with that, if the people you want to introduce altcoinstalk to are interested in altcoins, then you simply tell them it is a place they can get information about altcoins and share ideas with members who are also interested in it. There are other sides and sections in the forum, but the original purpose is that it is a forum for discussing about altcoins.

Introducing the AltcoinTalk forum to other users depends on their interests. You can suggest discussing crypto and this forum with others, but you can't force them to like cryptocurrency. But that's a good idea too. If there are people who want to discuss here because they're interested in your invitation, it'll make the forum more lively.

Op it is not hard, if you have done it for bitcointalk then you can still do it for altcoinstalks. Just tell him that altcoinstalks is just like the bitcointalk forum and there is nothing changed and the only different is that altcoinstalks has more sub-boards than bitcointalk. Altcoinstalks is foe all the cryptocurrencies discussion forum while bitcointalk is only meant for bitcoin but there are sub-boards for other coins and other discussions. During almost 10 years on BTT, I have witnessed hundreds of beginners who became members of the forum only because someone told them (or they read) that this is how you can earn some magic money, and according to my estimation, not even 10% of all of them stayed on the forum.

No, I'm telling you. It's not a good step. I have experienced it in the past with some people I know and even on my job where every information they need is being asked even if the answer that they are looking for is already in front of them. They will be more dependent on you if you do this.

If you give more information than letting them, find the answers to their questions, they will never learn anything. Until they become an old member here, they will still be dependent on you. If you teach them how to be independent at the very beginning, they will explore the forum by themselves which is something good not only to you but most likely for themselves.
