I've read last weekend an article on spam blocked b about woman from U.S. who was caught attempting to fund ISIS with bitcoin. Cryptocurrencies have a bad image thanks to be unofficial currency of darknet, but I thought the situation is more balanced right now and cases like this are happening really seldom. Do you know more about using crypto for stuff like this?

« on: November 30, 2018, 02:59:34 PM »
What do you think, which country is the most advanced and opened for crypto technology?
Personally, I've read last time a lot good words about ideas of using blockchain in Switzerland (for example, for creating better workers managment in their railway system, here is an article on spam blocked b). They're really perspective about it, maybe this country will be the leader in this technology in Europe?

Cryptocurrency discussions / PornChain
« on: November 28, 2018, 10:36:53 AM »
Not so long ago Pornhub announced that cryptocurrency will be a payment methood on their site. Today I read on spam blocked b about SpankChain, new startup (of course in adult entertainment), which is paying web performers in crypto. And it's more lucrative for them, because they're taking most of earnings from performance.
What do you think? Will crypto be the future of porn too?
I know it sounds dirty but you know, it's all for scientific research only xD

Cryptocurrency discussions / CryptoTaxes
« on: November 26, 2018, 03:56:24 PM »
I read today on spam blocked b that Ohio plans to become first state accepting taxes in bitcoins. It looks intresting, but do we really want to integrate cryptocurrency, something which is alternative in its very own nature, with administration system? Will it still be the same when government will be using it? What do you think about it?
here you got an article, if you want to check it: https://www.spam blocked b/bitcoin-for-taxes-in-ohio/

Cryptocurrency discussions / Switzerland as a testing ground for crypto
« on: November 21, 2018, 11:50:37 AM »
Switzerland always was very interesting to me. As a country, it looks like mix-up of german state, with addintional italian flavour and french grace. Always neutral but politically important too. And this direct democracy stuff! It is sure that place so diffrent from any other have to be open minded for all new technologies. And so it is in the crypto case - Swiss Exchange has just announced that they will enlist first ETF based on cryptocurrency (more about on spam blocked b)
It have made me think: maybe Switzerland is a good place to test how crypto would work on bigger scale, as an official thing, alongside with government institutions and society itself.
And what do you think?

I found today this article on spam blocked b about Venezuela and thier cryptocurrency. Petro is now official currency of this country (alongside with traditional bolívar soberano) and I wonder, how we should call that kind of crypto. I meen, is it still "alternative" when it is using on such scale?
