I have to admit that it's certainly the best time to invest currently as it's been bearish market for long. Most of scams have been dead since the bearish market came so you don't have to worry too much about the scams. The only thing you need to pay attention is the understanding of a project that you are going to invest. The better you understand it, the lower risks you will bear. I am not sure that if you have some basic understandings towards maps economy. Location is becoming more important ever. If you are seeking for a potential investment, why not consider some map-related projects?

I bought several altcoins which in my opinion would be an opportunity. For example EOS, Cardano, TRON and of course Ethereum. I consider it an investment because now the price is still cheap and I hope for the next few years there will be a pretty amazing increase.

What i consider investment as investment now are things that are able to help to earn profit. Most important point is that before i invest in an instrument firstly i will need to consider that as a good avenue which can be my own thinking or an actual fact. I am quite sure ethereum, stellar, infinitus, metamorph and bitcoin is a good invesment that i prefer to keep in my wallet.

You should invest in top 20 or 50 projects. Just check them through GitHub etc their devs are active or not. Another advice, never invest in a few projects. It is risky. Lastly, I think it is still a good time to buy some coins. Prices are relatively cheap.
