Altcoins are made up of different coins, that is, a coin that is not bitcoin. The fluctuation of bitcoin really affect the price of all other altcoins, as a well known and used coin in the crypto system. Its negative move has a great effect, but not completely to all coins. Most altcoins that are highly volatile in nature moves with the slightest positive change in the price of bitcoin.Altcoins have not yet begun recovering to BTC. I think that now we are waiting for the fall of the BTC and at the same time, the BTC domination will fall to 50% and only after a drop in the bush we will see the growth of altcoins to the BTC. I think big players have already started to withdraw money from the BTC. They will suffice for the summer rest of the money earned on this pump. It is my opinion.
I think the most disturbing altcoins drawbacks is its inability to recover significantly by its percentage propotion to the Bitcoin price since the inception of crypto. For instance, bitcoin price can crash by 14% to 20% and come back immediately to thesame percentage price rise within few hours, unfortunately altcoin get very slow recovery in returning its prices. The problem with altcoins is the inability to compete since there are too many alternative coins in the market today and if we compare to bitcoin aside of its popularity as the pioneering one most altcoins has huge supply of coin/token comparing to bitcoin thats why it needs to be address.
This is just what i thought to have been slowing the altcoins growth. I may be wrong but what do make of this situation? Thanks
altcoin requires better support from the government to be able to use and trade in the volume of products that are owned, bitcoin has support from everyone for investment and altcoin has products but there are still some who use them. that's why altcoin price recovery has slowed down, besides fake projects, smart investors have chosen new altcoin investments and moved some of their funds from old altcoins to new altcoinsAltcoins are made up of different coins, that is, a coin that is not bitcoin. Sometimes you see them drop with bitcoin, and then recovers at the same rate with bitcoin. Sometimes you see a different reaction, bitcoin recovers while altcoins continue to bleed. It's just one those things.yes very true one can't predict the move of Alts when Bitcoin rise, majority of the time Alts drop, but I believe soon both Bitcoin and Alts will rise at the same time.
Most disturbing drawback? It's as if it's a very bad thing. Remember that even a slow recovery presents an opportunity, you are given more time to accumulate. Instead of being worried, just take advantage. Many people are afraid of this situation, because prices are still falling. While many also say this is a great opportunity to collect more assets because of very low prices
The weakness of the altcoin is that it is difficult to know its success and endurance in the long run, and also the popularity far below bitcoin.BTC popularity is really very high as it's the first crypto coin. But coins like ETH LTC are also very popular as they have long been on the market. They even have some better parameters than BTC, but the BTC's ubiquitous popularity does not give them such growth. In the long run, I I think all the good altcoins will give a very good growth and profit
Altcoins are still at the mercy of Bitcoin. There's no specific pattern since they react differently but they react nonetheless. Sometimes you see them drop with bitcoin, and then recovers at the same rate with bitcoin. Sometimes you see a different reaction, bitcoin recovers while altcoins continue to bleed. It's just one those things. It's right. As long as Bitcoin will directly dominate the cryptocurrency market, until the Altcoins will behave in the same way. This is due to the high level of Bitcoin capitalization. According to the laws of the market, its level of capitalization will inevitably fall over time, and the level of prices for cryptocurrency will not be as different as now the price of Bitcoin is different from the rest of cryptocurrency. Sky-high projected prices for Bitcoin, these are only pink dreams of its holders and they are unlikely to ever come true. The laws of the market say the opposite and above all the Bitcoin holders themselves will constantly keep its price down because they want to lock in their profits.
The weakness of the altcoin is that it is difficult to know its success and endurance in the long run, and also the popularity far below bitcoin.

Altcoins can very quickly fall in value after Bitcoin, but they restore their price very slowly. This is especially obvious this year and right now. Everyone has already noticed that Bitcoin has grown three to four times this year, and so far altcoins have risen very little. It remains to hope that this is a feature of this particular year and that they will continue to be more mobile.

But not with top Altcoin like Ethereum and Bitcoin cash, both of them can experience changes like Bitcoin. So we have to know all that.
