Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Trading is not same thing as Gambling
« Last post by UNIVERSE on April 30, 2024, 11:59:53 PM »
I keep seeing this type of comparison all the time and everywhere. I think its quite obvious that they are not the same but for some reason it must be "feeling" same to some people.
Indeed, but honestly, there more many people who are doing trading like gambling, not using any analysis and only using luck a. this is bad enough because the risk will be much higher.  Usually, a person will equip themselves with sufficient knowledge and insight when trading. Not only that, trading requires a variety of analyzes that can help us to minimize risks, increase opportunities, and also determine what we will take, in what position, how much, in what coins, and several other things. Because trading is complex, so it won't be as simple as entering numbers and taking the profits. It's not that simple,

Because of that, we must have this understanding at least to equip us in trading. Because nothing has zero risk, so trading must also have high risk, but this shouldn't just be based on luck. because once again, trading is not gambling.

Voting / Re: TRX or ETH?
« Last post by Cantsay on April 30, 2024, 11:58:14 PM »
It is clear that the Ethereum platform is more popular and has many fans than the TRX platform because Ethereum is an altcoin that has very high security and has a fairly high trading volume so that Ethereum remains the king of altcoins.

True, the only aspect of TRX that makes people still use trx instead of Eth is “gas fee and probably speed”. Whenever I want to move my funds from one exchange to another, let’s say from Binance to KuCoin due to the fact that Binance no longer supports p2p in my country I usually go for trx.

But when you bring other aspects into consideration Eth dominates in them.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Is there still going to be a bull run?
« Last post by UNIVERSE on April 30, 2024, 11:57:28 PM »
But I was surprised when he asked me if there was still going to be a bull run this year, I paused for a while cus I didn't know what to answer him, I've never discussed anything concerning or patterning to bull run with him before, so I was a kind of puzzled when he asked me that.
Because to be honest, we can't promise that to someone. Even though here I can give this and that argument, if someone asks me directly, and sees how he has very high hopes, then we will definitely feel a little uncomfortable and have to be careful in choosing every word we say.

Because indeed, if we look at the cycles and phases, there is still a bullrun phase in 2024-2025. Yes, as we have seen in the previous season, this is still early after the halving so it still takes time.

but on the other hand, we can't guarantee that it will happen, and it will actually happen 100%, even though there is a risk if we say yes. Because no one in the market will know 100%. However, still, allow him to be patient and follow the Bitcoin market development process with sufficient patience. Therefore, he does not panic and is triggered by various negative information that he may receive.

Even if that has asked me the same question I will still have an unofficial answer to that since we are here speculating on prices and there is really no accurate answer to that. It could be that this year is just side way or it could have some slight rally or what but yeah I can relate to you here. Though there's a high possibility but who knows right?
Why I will be skeptical is that the arrangement has changed. Before now, a new ATH is met after the halving but this time around, a new ATH was seen before the halving which is a very good sign of bull run. I don't know whether to say that the bull run has already started or not.

There's no spelt out answer to the questionair, but with experience you should know that this dip we are seeing is the one that is always seen after halving before the crazy bull run. So, there will be bull run.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Bitcoin Slips Under $62K as Hong Kong ETFs Disappoint
« Last post by MrSpasybo on April 30, 2024, 11:54:38 PM »
United States was not the first country that its SEC approved bitcoin ETF. Canada and many countries in Europe have approved bitcoin ETF before United States. But people did not know much about it. You can not compare United States traditional market to those like Hong Kong. Nobody will be expecting something like this.

It is worth to know that bitcoin price today is decreasing, but that does not mean all-time-high is not coming. Do not expect bullrun to start immediately after halving.
I believe investors are not comparing capital flows in Hongkong to those in the US, but rather they are placing their hopes on the massive capital flow from mainland China. Hongkong is seen as part of China and has been chosen as a testing ground for open crypto policies before they are rolled out across the mainland. Unfortunately, according to the latest announcement, capital from the mainland cannot access BTC & ETH Spot ETFs in Hongkong. Therefore, the disappointment is quite significant and we cannot see the positive impact from these Spot ETFs.

However, this is not too negative either. We should accept the reality and the positive impacts: the crypto experiment in Hong Kong is going well and we can wait for acceptance from the Chinese government in the future. Everything takes time, even BTC Spot ETFs in the US took 11 years to be approved.

Cryptocurrency Price Speculations / Re: 60K resistance might be broken
« Last post by Baofeng on April 30, 2024, 11:53:19 PM »
I am not really a guy who look into the prices very often but ever since halving I am keeping an eye on it, the prices on the way of declining ever since halving with deadcat bounce. As of now I am writing the price ranges in between 60-61K.

Speculators share your insights about how the price movements will be from this point.

It has been broken as I have seen the price going into $59k'ish. And even if we have seen the Hong Kong Bitcoin Spot ETF being traded already, the volume is very small as compare when the US had it's first trading day.

And as far as the US goes, yeah, the same picture is emerging, there's not much money flowing and volume are not that big as compare when it was just launched. So we will have to see how it will affect the market in the long run, we should just remain positive that everything will be ok at least at the end of the year.

Basic Questions about Cryptos / Re: What is Bitcoin?
« Last post by UNIVERSE on April 30, 2024, 11:48:30 PM »
I see defining bitcoin as a common and ordinary thing anyone can do when they make the action to go online and google it, there could be various interpretation on what bitcoin is, but the best way is to begin by knowing what a cryptocurrency is first, that will serve as an intro to understanding better what Bitcoin is for a lay man, if you want a digital currency and are tired of being under the control of the central authorities, then maybe bitcoin is the best for you.
People focus on the definition of Bitcoin. And indeed it needs to be understood because it is basic. Oh yes, apart from these definitions, there are things that are actually basic about Bitcoin, namely related to the risks that exist in Bitcoin. Because, Bitcoin is an asset that still has risks that must be taken by its holders. And the risk that this means exists and is inherent to Bitcoin and depends on how someone experiences and controls it.

After that, I thought more about the various benefits of Bitcoin which we have definitely felt and are currently enjoying too. We know that BTC is used not only as a means of payment or currency. but also for investing and trading. And some other experts who of course make profits. Well here, this is how we can optimize existing chances by managing the risks of Bitcoin.

because we can make money and be successful from Bitcoin, but we can also lose so much money because of Bitcoin. So, be careful about this.
