Justified, a pretty amazing modern Western. Also, The Expanse.

My favorite movie is “A Beautiful Mind”. Not because I think that I’m smarter than Einstein, but because it’s just a great movie. I love the story and I love the message behind it. “What separates us from animals is our ability to create art” – Albert Einstein, quoted on the movie poster. For someone like me who’s often found himself frustrated and struggling with different problems in life, it’s probably the most inspiring movie I’ve ever seen.

My favorite movie is probably The Shawshank Redemption, which is a little silly because I'm a white male but who cares, I'd watch it again today. It's a good one.

My favorite song of the 1990's was probably "Uncle John" by Steve Winwood. A great song.

My favorite movie of the 1990's would probably be Singles. That's not entirely fair to my old boss who's an old coot and a friend of mine, but it's my favorite by far. Also, I liked Dazed and Confused.

And my favorite movie from this year is still The Lord of the Rings. I am very close to finishing the entire thing right now and I think I like it better than The Dark Knight. But it's a very subjective thing.

There's probably not an obvious choice there. The Matrix, The Green Mile, A Beautiful Mind, and others probably don't even register with me.

My favorite movie is “Dumb and Dumber”.

The movie follows the story of Lloyd Christmas, a man who wants to get married and settle down. He is accompanied by his friend Harry Dunne, who acts as his wingman. Despite this, Harry is actually a serial killer and, while he acts as Lloyd’s best friend, it is often more or less a ruse.

But Harry is an unusual serial killer, as he always chooses to go out at night, even though his victims are usually people of whom he knows. So in addition to acting as Lloyd’s friend, Harry is also his best suspect.

At the time I first watched “Dumb and Dumber”, I was only nine, and the movie gave me the same uneasy feeling I still get when I see a movie that I might be too young for.

But as I grew up, and in part thanks to “Dumb and Dumber”, I became a fan of “horror” movies. A lot of the movies I have seen since I was eleven would certainly not qualify as horror movies, and others I might even consider “comedy horror”, but in many ways, most of the movies I saw in my teens were, in fact, horror movies.

At this point I should also mention that I have had a very difficult time getting my teenage years and the decade before into one post, so I have done a separate post on “Horror movies and me”. If you want to read that post, here is a link to it.

My favorite movie is "WALL-E" but I don't have it... I've never had a DVD player. We live in a trailer park in the foothills of California and we don't have cable or phone. We have only had high speed Internet for the last year.

If my parents got my first and most recent DVD player, I'd be in college and college life would have been much different for me. I'd have played a lot more games than I have. I'd have probably joined a frat or a sorority (probably a sorority since I'd never seen 'Clueless'). In college I wouldn't have done such stuff as I did. I'd have been a better person for it. I'd have done less drugs. I'd have been a much better student. I'd have grown up a lot faster and more maturely.

This is why I'm glad I never had a DVD player. I've seen everything I want to watch on Netflix, my own copy of DVDs or the Internet. I've been an active participant in the video game industry. I've tried to become a good citizen in the world. I've joined the Marine Corps, got married, bought and sold my own house, bought a car, had kids, bought a dog, etc.

Now that my life is taking its natural and normal course, I don't know if I'll have a DVD player when I go to college and get my degree in about seven years. So I think I'm happy for this reason that I never had a DVD player.

I don't have time to enjoy TV shows. Even if I have time, my favorites are sports and news...

Finished watching Westworld Season 4; it felt like they are trying to stretch another season out of it but it got cancelled.

Started watching "Manifest" on Netflix, not bad, keeping me guessing as to what's going on without being confusing.

Latest season of titans on Netflix, cookie cutter marvel series, watchable but forgettable. If i didn't have a thing for raven i probably not bother watching tbh.
