Tether was never decentralized, and the privacy is so non-existent it is like walking into a room full of security cameras with microphones on them. I don't know why anyone even bothers to use it actually (besides making more money which is irrelevant to the topic of this discussion).

Besides, Tether is not even stable. You can see in the screenshots that it slips from its peg by quite a bit, often.

P.S. If we're talking about decentralization - it's clearly not about USDT. Your funds will be blocked, only then prove their origin. Is that what cryptocurrency is about? Is this what everyone expected? I guess not, but it's definitely not normal.

P.S. I personally have not sold anything, there is no hurry, nothing has been done yet. According to information from (the developers themselves) should be released phase 2.0 - I expect it. Only then will they make decisions if the price is satisfactory. Too big and interesting a project for my taste. 

First time I heard about Oobit app but it looks like a bridge between cryptocurrencies and traditional fiat payments, and it can be used to pay anything with crypto.
I have to research it more but I think there is mandatory identification process for creating oobit account so I don't like it.
I doubt telegram will be able to skip this kyc and that means all USDT transactions will be tracked and traced.

As always, everything is going towards full identification of each user. Decentralization and so on are out of the question. You know, I'm not surprised because the Tether campaign can block your address without justification, without words. After all, this year and next are years away from fully regulating the entire cryptocurrency sector.

Binance, имхо, решили просто побрить людей (ничего удивительного) и немного заработать. У меня просто масса людей, которые так и не получили вывод. При этом, разные страны (Украина, ЕС и т.д.) и вполне нормальные аккаунты, которые никогда не заводили серые или черные активы, а все транзакции исполняли только с использованием банковской карточки.

Думаю на старте было понятно, что "здесь что-то не так", когда цена на Binance була на 30-40 процентов выше, чем на других площадках, а в пике до 1,4 цента доходили. Просто взяли и побрили. Я после этого принципиально вывел все до копейки, хотя у меня там не так много и оставалось.

Ага, поступили максимально не правильно. А вот байбит в этом плане, вообще молодцы, решили всем скинуть +30 долларов просто так. Я вот задумался сегодня, а ведь это отличный повод удержать юзера + показать ему преданость со стороны биржи.. Далеко не все биржи, могут позволить подобные подарки юзерам. Йобит не считается.

A court has refused to grant bail to Binance employee Tigran Gambaryan, who was arrested in Nigeria.
