Gold has a far greater tenure than bitcoin. As it was first used 2000 years ago.Bitcoin is a better investment for short-term potential gain but you also have the potential to lose a lot of money. Gold, is a stable investment that is almost guaranteed to return on your investment in the long term.

Of course I chose Cryptocurrency, Cryptocurrency has a much higher price increase when compared to Gold. I bought Gold only for jewelry, because Investing with Gold Price increases very slowly.

Both have their own advantages and also some drawbacks. Gold is stable, profitable, and can be affordable, but Crypto is Risky, high priced but it also returns a high-profit margin as compared to Gold. Cryptocurrency is not stable like Gold.

If you’re in a country with a totalitarian government that prohibits you from doing business with the rest of the world, cryptocurrency helps relieve that. You can potentially send just INFORMATION to another place in the world and thereby transfer money, even though you are unable to transmit things like gold bars or dollar bills. The exchange, in theory, is consummated between the two parties and verified cryptographically.

In my opinion you can never go wrong investing on gold or crypto. Both of them have their own pros and cons, if you're looking for a stable and reliable income, then go for the Gold, if you're willing to take the risk then crypto it is. Just a quick reminder though, never put all the eggs in basket. Cheers mate!

You know why most people who aren't exposed to financial industry keep asking the question, i think the love of crypto with it volatility made everyone under look Gold but as you have said each of them with their merit and demerit.
It would even be wise to diversify ones financial networth into different systems but traditionally and decentralized.

In my opinion, cryptocurrency cannot be predicted when it goes up when it goes down, for gold itself, which I know is more stable than crypto, but if we have the spirit of crypto trading it can be a promising provit alternative.

If I had to choose between gold and cryptocurrency, I would choose cryptocurrency.Because nowadays most people are getting attached to cryptocurrency. It is possible to get a lot of profit by investing in cryptocurrency. If you are an investor or trader then in a few days You can take too much profit.Which you won't get from gold.If you want to invest on gold, you have to invest long term. But even then you will get real low-quality.

maybe your choice can be ascertained very right and if I can be sure will give the same determination with you.
even though both are investments, there are differences between the two, gold is certainly not too risky compared to crypto, but crypto yields are in accordance with the level of difficulty and high risk if one steps wrong.

with crypto we can determine what direction we will do because there are many alternatives that can be done, if as traders of course every time is something valuable with an undetermined time there will be results available. and many other things that can be done in crypto is different from investing only in gold.

You can easily trade bitcoin for cash or assets like gold instantly with low fees. The high liquidity associated with bitcoin makes it a great investment vessel if you're looking for short-term profit. But cryptocurrencies may also be a long-term investment due to their high market demand, the rate of order is very high this season. But gold is more preferable for long term. I think

I prefer to invest in the crypto currency. Gold can be more reliable, but it will not give me as much profit as Bitcoin
I will choose Bitcoin any time and any day before good based on historical price data Bitcoin has the capability to make me rich in a long term investment beside this I have the opportunity of being the custodian of Bitcoin in a secured hardware wallet without paying a dime for securing it whereas I will have to pay a bank for securing the gold

I agree with you, both are good for investment, but both have their own capacities. Before you invest in cryptocurrency, you must have a good knowledge of the crypto market, because crypto currency prices are volatile and unpredictable. But I prefer to invest in Cryptocurrency, because so far I have made a lot of profit here. And part of the proceeds from cryptocurrency, I can buy gold for jewelry.

I will love to invest in the both, although for now i only invest on cryptocurrencies and they have proven to be quite profitable. Gold has held this true legacy of been a true and reliable store of value until the in inception of the digital gold (BTC), personal i would so much love to invest in physical gold yet i dont have that much resources to afford me one.

broadly speaking what you have said is true, and very convincing of the truth.
in fact, both gold and bitcoin are both short-term and long-term investments, what really distinguishes is the form, because one is a visible form and the other is not visible at all.

Bitcoin is definitely a better investment than gold, of course, but the risks involved will also be great, if we are impatient and panic quickly. because bitcoin can go up high and someday it can go down very low, which can actually create panic if you are not patient and will make losses. because bitcoin can be ascertained every 4 years will increase due to the influence of the halving so it takes patience.

I have never bought 1g of gold, because I only consider them as jewelry. The price of gold is too stable and I don't see it as an investment.
However, I used $1K to buy Bitcoin in 2017, and kept altcoins as a real asset.
My choice is crypto, not gold :)

Anyone that has an understanding of what the value of these two asset class is about will certainly go for cryptocurrencies because their volatility ratio makes them very profitable that the said gold. Thus if one is investing for the purpose of making profits, cryptocurrencies are a better option to gold.

actually as an investment, both are clearly the same, but what distinguishes is only the risk factors attached to each of them.
gold is one that is not too risky or relatively small and does not really get too big a price advantage but is more than can be used as a personal accessory.
while crypto is very problematic because of its volatility, but with good analysis it can benefit several times the main capital.

I agree with you that only the risk factor is what distinguishes the two asset class. Gold as a store of value has more stability despite it's also volatile which makes it profitable. Cryptocurrencies on the other hand are very volatile and far less stable than gold which makes them more profitable.

In about 2015 I bought 10 ounces of gold at a bit over $1000 per ounce, call it $10K. It is now a bit over $1700 for about 70% gain.  That is pretty good, but I will take a big  commission hit to sell it.  Keeping it for now.  I had not checked it for a while and am surprised that its gone up that much.

In 2017 bought a bit over 5 bitcoins for about $1,100 each.  That was all I could afford.  Now they are over $50K for $250,000.

I am sweating over holding them or taking the profit.  That one is tough.

And am investing in some Ether, Doge, ADS, and something else.  Suggestions?  Maybe $20K spread out over several coins, mostly the lower cost ones.  With COVID and all the stimulus checks the US government is sending, my expectation is that inflation will be rather high and cryptos will be a major hedge against them.

So my answer is definitely crypto, and in large part for the ability to sell easy without major commissions.

In that case I prefer cryptocurrencies . The cryptocurrency market is certainly not stable, but you can make very good money there. Gold is not an asset on which I could make money.
it is normal to have different perceptions, actually both are very good investments. what makes the difference is the level of risk carried by the two is clearly very different.
if you want it to be safe and there are no very crucial problems later, it is clear that investing in gold, can be used as accessories. but if it is very unstable, of course crypto, but that instability can sometimes make crypto investors very happy because the price is many times the price when buying, but if you anticipate wrongly, the funds can also be forfeited because the value drops drastically.

It depends upon your faith and your experience of investing in cryptocurrency.
You can be a millionaire by 20,000. You can be a billionaire by 30, you can be a billionaire by 40, but you won’t become a billionaire by 50 unless you have this idea of becoming a billionaire by a certain age. It is advised to have in-depth knowledge of cryptocurrency to get the best results. If you are interested in Digital Yuan , join Yuan Pay Group now!

I think if you have the means, you don't have to choose between gold and cryptos: both can be part of a balanced portfolio. Gold is a low-risk, low-yield asset that is decent for wealth preservation, but not necessarily enough to protect you from inflation. Cryptos are high-yield but riskier, too. If you invest in both, you can control your risks.
For the average retail trader, it just depends on your goals and your risk tolerance.

And he can bear the risk than he can choose the cryptocurrency because in cryptocurrency there is a risk but in crypto, the reward is also higher.

On the other hand Gold is far more greater and reliable investment thing to go for.

If Bitcoin can slowly enter the gold market and occupy that place. Then people will believe in bitcoin more than gold. And in all the countries where bitcoin is not legal, they will gradually invest in bitcoin from gold. If JP Morgan's words are true.

First and foremost BTC shall never take over Gold it shall always remain as a hedging asset Gold might not give return as BTC but it shall always be Investors favorite asset for against any other asset. JP morgan has gone wrong many time a simple example is 2008 housing market, they never saw what was happening in there backyard how would they know about a engineering based space after all BTC is threat for Banks a lot more than for Governments.

Both have bright future and we can get good amount of money from the investment of gold and crypto currency.
