Actually, to follow the trajectory of Bitcoin in Ethereum, the Eth is in the front, because it has a platform of tokens. The question I ask is if the BTC also owns tokens?

Yeah i agreed. IF everyone leave bitcoin then ETH will explosion but its simple hard

The question is, are the holders of bitcoin ever going to dump it and invest all their monies in ethereum as you say?

I think it is possible. But it would take a long time. Supporters of ethereum should really push the cryptocurrency very well to catch up with bitcoin.

maybe, but it will takes a long time because we have so many different altcoins and some of them like litecoin, waves and monero. but surely ethereum has the best shot

Ethereum can come closer but cant pass the price of bitcoin because bitcoin price is very unpredictable. Bitcoin price increase rapidly but ethereum decrease now.

possible, Oligopoly is bad for the competition and it surely not gonna exist for a long time.
now the tricky thing is, when it will happen?
and really, other coins may replace bitcoin as well,
that's why so many people invest other coins

bitcoin transfer will be slower and slower thats when people will use ether more i guess... and the value will go up..

It will definitely happen when ETH goes full Constantinople mode after the casper testnet because then people will want to hold their ether for the POS abilities.

I don' t think that ethereum will surpass bitcoin . Too much difference as price and I think that ethereum hasn't enought streinght to grow as Bitcoin.

I have more confidence in ethereum as in bitcoin.. I have the idea that bitcoin is going to collapse one day.

For the time being it won't, because the bitcoin is like the mother of the cryptos and the most popular right now unlike ETH which is still new compared to btc.

btc is storage of value
eth is usefull in so many ways
2 different currencies.
btc will always be the king.

They botg gace totally different use cases and if we only look at the total market cap I do not think ETH will surpass BTC, but it might on the trading volume as BTC becomes more and more of an asset and less of a currency.

If Ethereum market will be in-demand and going up, soon and someday or maybe it will happen to surpass Bitcoin!
