Yes PayPal a popular Marchant organization which already given permission to transaction their money, assets but through bitcoin, bitcoin cash , Ethereum and litecoin. But till now I don't hear about DeFI acception.

In near future YFI will be accepted by Amazon, microsoft, PayPal, and others popular crypto platform. It now available in tron and stellar platforms. Day by day DeFI projects popularity increasing Rocket launching speedy.

I can say without a doubt that this is actually a lot of good news for those who actually work in cryptocurrency. PayPal is one of the largest transactions in the world.

BTC, ETH, LTC, BCH are all DeFi tokens. The tokens of liquid-DeFi platforms like YFI will be very difficult to accept on PayPal because their purpose is not to be a means of payment or hoarding assets. The supply of such tokens is also too small for all communities.

I don't know if PayPal supports or accepts any DeFi tokens or coins. Because I have not seen any news on this subject. However, PayPal has been able to accept bitcoin. The price and popularity of Bitcoin has increased a lot since more news was published. Since then, the price of Bitcoin has started to increase a lot. It is expected that there will be a lot of transactions and trade.

At present I have not seen any news that paypal has accepted DeFi. However, Paypal has accepted Bitcoin. There is still news about this issue. Many other big marketplaces like paypall use and trade Bitcoin. So I think since Bitcoin, the largest member of cryptocurrency, has supported or accepted Bitcoin. Will accept more coin and DeFi in the future. Now just waiting for the time.

Paypal's role in the world of cryptos is quite limited as of now - it is of course great that it accepts these major cryptos, but I don't think it's likely that DeFi coins will be accepted on the platform anytime soon.

PayPal a popular cryptocurrency Marchant academy which already given permission on transactions and transfer their assets into bitcoin, Bitcoin cash , Ethereum and litecoin. But I am not sure that PayPal accepted DeFI projects .

Yes PayPal already accepted for popular coins but they are road map to others more coin to whitelist.

To begin with, PayPal needs to gain experience in the cryptocurrency field and they have already begun to gain experience when they added several top cryptocurrencies on their payment system and I think the time will come when PayPal will add even more different cryptocurrencies on their payment system and this list will also have defi cryptocurrencies.

Tokens, on the other hand, do not. They run on top of blockchains like Ethereum.
While the Ethereum blockchain is the most popular aming DeFis, some tokens run on other blockchains like Tron and Eos.
As to the question in the OP, I don't understand why would Paypal need to add tokens into their platform when they already have Eth.

That right. For now, only some top coins are accepted as you have said. But currently, PayPal has a negative reviews from some users. Because PayPal seems to ban their users because of getting more profits in trading crypto in PayPal. ANd they cannot do it again. And in fact, we cannot withdraw the crypto to another wallet, only cashing out is available.

PayPal has already accepted Bitcoin. I wonder who will accept more currencies in the future. Ethereum, YFI may be on the accept list. So I think DeFi will have the potential to be added in the future. Let's see what kind of plans for the future.
