No, bitcoin has no chance of that.  Dominance in the world of finance usually refers to the price dominance of Bitcoin in the cryptocurrency market due to its high capitalization.  In order to dominate conventional markets in terms of the volume of turnover, it is necessary that in this case, bitcoin displaces the common currency from circulation.  that is, dollar, euro, pound and so on.  However, bitcoin is not capable of replacing conventional currency.  It is conceived only as an alternative means of payment, and not a replacement for the traditional payment system.

I think that is not possible because until now cryptocurrency still cannot be used for many countries and will never be able to replace fiat money, bitcoin will still be an alternative for transactions in cyberspace.

Actually, I can't say this because the dollar and euro are the real currency that is very dominant to more countries. So far, these two currencies have great power influencing the other currencies around the world. But here, I actually want to know, in what case it is will dominant? If it is about the value of each point and for investment, BTC may be higher.

Hello mate ,above all currencies are stable and governments supports currencies. Above all currencies also support banks and others agencies but bitcoin a virtual currency which has no government support. So no dominance on dollars, euros and british pounds.

Cryptocurrency was created and should work only as an alternative to the current financial system of society.  It can only partially displace ordinary currency from circulation, but not replace it.  Therefore, it cannot dominate the dollar, euro, pound, yuan or other common currencies of states.  Moreover, states and their bodies will not widely use cryptocurrency.  To do this, they will already have their own national digitized central bank currencies.

I think it will be difficult if this crypto can be used as currencies such as Euros or dollars. Because crypto does not have a uniform system, the price continues to rise and fall so that there is no benchmark. This will be difficult to implement as a payment method like most currencies.

Bitcoin has special advantages compared to the Dollar and Euro, although Bitcoin is not able to be more dominant than the two currencies, Bitcoin will still be chasing it a lot.
The main advantage that Bitcoin has is that Bitcoin can be used as an investment with a very high potential value, which Dollars and Uero don't have.

Now, it is because not all countries accept cryptocurrency as payment methods. As in my country, crypto is only legal as asset, the digital asset, but not as a currency. In this case, the use of crypto as currency will be probably against the currency in each country and it will be very difficult to overcome it.

I think that the world is already on that brink, we need to think about the new financial system offered by bitcoin, because any difficulties with the economy, our government first of all solves by increasing the money supply. This does not save the situation, but only aggravates and at the same time devalues all the savings of citizens.

Why Bitcoin can be dominant? I think Bitcoin to use as a currency isn't as many as Euro or Dollar. So, now isn't the time for Bitcoin to overtake Euro or dollar as the world's currency. Bitcoin is mostly used for digital assets in many countries around the world. Based on this fact, we shouldn't compare it to Euro or dollar as a currency.

Not now, Euro and dollar are still dominant to use around the world. I don't see a chance for Bitcoin to surpass Euro and dollar this time. Moreover, in some countries in the world, Bitcoin is illegal to use as a currency. So, people only can use Bitcoin for digital assets only. This is the fact of Bitcoin.

You don't need to think about this, bitcoin and fiat are equally needed by everyone, they don't have to be dominant and superior because they both have their own advantages and disadvantages.
The world economy must adopt the cryptocurrency system to be able to develop to a higher level.

No, cryptocurrency cannot be dominant in comparison with the common currencies of states, and even more so such as the dollar or the euro.  Decentralized cryptocurrency is not at all intended to dominate the currencies of states, it is not capable of this, and states would never allow it.  Cryptocurrency can only exist in parallel with the traditional currencies of states and it is no longer capable of it.

Looking at Bitcoin that has been accepted by big companies like PayPal, I think Bitcoin will become Bitcoin, and will never compete with fiat currencies.
Although several countries have developed payment systems and smartphone applications such as Uber, the Fiat currency of each country has always been the government's full concern.
Bitcoin will one day become the most sought-after digital currency in the world, because Bitcoin is a very rare coin in the next 5 to 10 years.

I can't because it's difficult to do that because any currency in the world is always managed in terms of supply and demand. BTC or electronic currencies are always transparent and clear when it is always sticking to the market and its price is always decided by the user by trading. I believe in the future there will be more cryptocurrencies of the major nations will be accepted for global payments

It must be remembered that although crypto is very well known and very easy to use without limitation of area and time, it will always run into certain countries that have not recognized it as a legal means of payment because of course they have to require regulation to be accepted. so it is not easy to replace legal instruments such as dollars or euros. it still takes time to harmonize between countries in order to recognize it as a whole. because we have to admit that many countries are still afraid of crypto being accepted, money laundering from drug sales and corruption is hard to trace.

But to buy Euro and USD is difficult because these two currencies are very popular and have a large following.

It is difficult for cryptocurrencies to beat these two Fiats because cryptocurrencies can go up and down by themselves.

Bitcoin's dominance can only be compared to other digital assets but if you are trying to compare it to fiat currencies like Dollars, Euros and Pounds it's not that fair. Decentralized volatile asset versus a centralized stable asset is different most especially in adoption. Maybe in the future Bitcoin is used in most transactions because we are going cashless.

As a prerequisite for the dominance of cryptocurrency in the global financial market, there should be no interest of states and their governments in the national currency and in the development of their own economy. Since we are unlikely to ever wait for this, then the dominance of bitcoin or other decentralized cryptocurrency is hardly worth counting on. States are still able to eliminate any possible threat to the existence of their currencies and the global financial system as a whole. So far, they do not see a threat to global financial stability from the side of cryptocurrency and this allows it to grow and develop. What will happen in the future - we'll see. Let's hope that the currency of states and the cryptocurrency will be able to exist together and help each other, and people will have the right to choose.

Bitcoin or any other decentralized cryptocurrency will never dominate the global financial market. This simply will never be allowed by states, even if the cryptocurrency had such an opportunity. But cryptocurrency does not have such an opportunity. It was created only as an alternative means of payment to the current payment system. Therefore, it must occupy its own niche in the financial sector and coexist with the fiat states.

It never happen, fiat ( usd, eur, gbp ) have longer history and law more powerful than bitcoin, both are different and can't dominant each other. Bitcoin have chance to have highest price and bigger follower but for liquidity still fiat is the winner. I think this situation is fit for bitcoin because if crypto market dominated by fiat it will same like commodities or currency.

there will never be an opportunity for bitcoin to replace fiat in real life in transactions, because the value of 1 bitcoin is difficult to predict and its value is not fixed like fiat money

Bitcoin's transaction volume has actually already surpassed that of PayPal (https://www.forexbrokerz.com/news/bitcoin-transaction-volume-surpasses-that-of-paypal), and it is predicted to surpass those of Visa and MasterCard, which largely operate with fiat currencies, by 2026. So can it surpass the EUR and the USD? Maybe. One day, why not.

Good morning, fellow mates! The question here is always tickling my mind on what's the possibility of BITCOIN overtaking the US DOLLARS, EUROS AND BRITISH POUND as the dominant and hegemon currency all over the world economy.
Bitcoin cannot dominate the national currency of states in the global financial system, since states will not allow it to do this even if it had such an opportunity. States have enough leverage to prevent this from happening. A decentralized cryptocurrency does not need to conflict with states and its monetary system. This will always be a losing bet for cryptocurrency. It will be better if the cryptocurrency coexists peacefully with the currencies of states.

It is unlikely to become the dominant currency in the fiat world, but it has definitely become the most speculative one. All traders in the world prefer to trade in cryptocurrency, it has taken the lead in this world and will never give up its niche to anyone.

Of course you can friends, in the future the Metaverse world provides many opportunities to develop crypto currencies, there Fiat will probably not be used, some countries will make a lot of regulations after that happens, I can't wait to see more coins that will be created in the years to come. Euro and USD will still be the choice to buy goods in the real world, we have seen a lot of changes happening today

I know sometimes we like to say ANY THING CAN HAPPEN but not this one. If you understand what the ECONOMICS of a Nations POWER is, then you wouldn't even ask this kind of question with regards to something that is Decentralized, Not owned by a single person or country, Forget it, No World power Nation will allow Bitcoin to be a Dominant currency over their own Fiat.
