Bit.Country is a decentralized world — putting community first.
Everyone can start their own metaverse with the token economy and DAO.
We are building a network with an open protocol for managing & incentivizing communities using gamification.
The concept is uniquely invented and inspired by the decentralization paradigm. Its vision is to allow anyone (especially new users to the blockchain) to create their communities, economies as Bit Country on the blockchain network.
Users can create their own bit countries, blocks, sections, and items as digital assets (NFTs). The UI offers both a classical web view and a 3D in-browser view of the country. The decentralized marketplace allows users to trade their digital assets with each other.
Bit.Country provides a new way to socialize with a game feel, while also being driven by the real economy.
Continuum
The Continuum is driven by the community, the topography is only realized through voting. New potential slots are made available through on-chain logic driven by the number of bit countries, and other platform factors.
An available spot on the Continuum is then auctioned to the highest bidder — awarding the right to occupy the slot with their bit country.
Once a bit country is on the Continuum, the currency is listed on the DEX and the bit country starts to receive network rewards.

Attract more people to join using the rules and policies you can set by your will. Grow your country and monetize your community in multiple ways without any intermediaries.
Blocks

Content will belong to one of the blocks that make up the whole country. Each block has a topic the content within should adhere to. Each block can also be visualized in a 3D voxel view, in the 3D world, you can create assets on the sections you own.
People can easily visit neighboring blocks while within a block, so placing related topics next to each other is favorable.
Residents can enter the other dimension of the block which is a world built in the voxel system. In there, residents can build the assets on the sections that they have ownership of.

Create currency for your country or import existing currency, and incentivize the people who contribute to your community.
As your community grows, your currency will gain value on the exchange. Everyone in the community will benefit from this. Countries can be auctioned, rewarding all who had a stake in it.

We are building the decentralized marketplace into the Substrate module. The auctions and deliveries of items will be completely decentralized and governed by the blockchain network.

Competition Process
Very simple to get started, please see stage 1.
Stage 1: Contribution Collection
At this stage, the designers should first create 2D plane images of their ideas and send them to Twitter by tagging @BitDotCountry with the hashtag #BitCountry3DPrize
Stage 2: Network Council and Public Voting
Your submission will be evaluated on both aesthetics and technical properties. We will select the qualified artwork and send further invitations to the designers.
After that, the designers can start to make the 3D version of the work. Please make sure that the final submission format is. obj, . glb/. gltf
Stage 3: Announcement of the Final Winners.
We will make the announcement of the final winners on our official social media Twitter
Requirements:
- File format — .obj or .glb/.gltf
- Keep polycount at 8k or below
- The maximum size for any dimension should be less than 3 meters.
- Preferably the textures should be baked. (We support both polygons and voxels)
*As a builder on Polkadot or Kusama, we also encourage teams to use Polkadot and Kusama elements in their design. Especially for Kusama, as an innovative way of funding using crowd loans is taking place right now.

Updates From CTOs:
3D Metaverse
- Seamless world update, now users can travel from block to block within a bit country without reloading or interruption while in the 3d world.
- User-created games concept implemented, two games accessible within the world for users to interact with directly in the 3d world. Later work will provide an SDK or similar for external users to create their own games and place them inside the world.
- World generation has been updated to create landscapes with more points of interest and variety.

Avatar
- Avatar customizer allows users to alter their avatar for use within the metaverse. Users can change different qualities about their avatar such as height, gender and color palette.
- Users are now able to put a jacket on their avatar for others to see when in the world. Other wearable clothing items and accessories will be made available.
Continuum Map Viewer
- Improvements to the Continuum and BC map viewers have been developed, allowing for faster access and experience to bit country placement on the Continuum and the blocks within them.
- User experience update to map viewer, quick access to Continuum spot for auctions, country navigation, and purchasing of new land blocks has been developed.
Social Token
- The Blockchain team completed the Social Token issuance concept’s implementation, which allows each bit country to issue their social token when creating a new bit country.
- The social token vesting schedule mechanism was also implemented to ensure the credibility of bit country social token.
Bit.Country Swap
- We also developed and implemented the Social Token DEX that allows bit country owner to bootstrap their social token liquidity with NUUM.
- Bit.Country Protocol enforces the minimum initial liquidity between social tokens and NUUM to ensure the sustainable liquidity ratio for each bit country social token.
- Social Token holders also can earn a liquidity fee when adding liquidity to the pool.
- Completed Bit.Country Swap integration between Blockchain protocol and the App UI.
NFT
- Developed the ownership tokenization feature which allows Bit.Country Protocol tokenize any entity ownership to an NFT. In other words, an NFT can represent the ownership of any entity in Bit.Country Protocol.
- NFT minted on Bit.Country Protocol is now usable in the metaverse.
- Completed UI integration to create the simple flow on minting an NFT.
EVM <> Bit.Country Protocol Bridge
- Integrated asset cross-chain bridge protocol between Bit.Country Protocol and Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).
- Starting with Ethereum and more EVM will follow such as BSC, Heco.
- Designed and developed Bridge UI for users to do cross-chain transfer.

This emerging market is described as a blue ocean, and the metaverse is multi-dimensional and a deep void. Different narratives will become companions each exploring the great emptiness.
Today’s giants are playing an important role to break the current limitations of experience such as VR technologies, artificial intelligence, and mind-machine interfaces which are much needed to make the metaverse truly accessible and immersive.
We, Bit.Country & Metaverse.Network, are composing our story of a metaverse odyssey, that is from Pioneer to Continuum by token users, world governors, landowners and coders.
Ever since Bit.Country was registered on Jan 22nd, 2018 in San Francisco, our team had an idea to play a part in bringing the adoption of digital assets and conducting a new social experiment. With numerous modeling and remodeling, in Mar 2021, we officially incorporated.
Later on, we decided to use Metaverse.Network as the brand for its blockchain running beneath, producing public and immutable events. The separate brands are to serve consumer users and wider ecosystem projects respectively.
The blockchain-native projects are after decentralization & its unstoppable nature. However, it can be challenging to ensure user experience, especially in game modes where users need to see others and collaborate.
Thanks to Substrate by Parity Tech and Polkadot, asset ownership and governance on the network are decentralized from inception, and to an even greater degree after the tokens are evenly distributed in the near future.
While a central server ensures user experience and interactions at a great scale, on the other hand, in order to achieve uninterrupted execution permanently, we’ve come up with a solution to maintain a reasonable user experience without the need of a central server.
This fully decentralized mode will allow users to view their assets and go into the world forever. Accessible from browsers, blockchain, and decentralized storage. This way their skies can still be seen in hundreds of years.
We are also building an open-source P2P system so that users would be able to perform almost all the tasks even when the centralized server is taken down so that the individual metaverse is truly perpetual.
Humble beginnings are what entrepreneurs have in common, the goals set at the beginning may vary, however, the common direction is to bring value to people. Only the narratives would differ to meet the desired interests.
Metaverse is far more about visual, power, economy, and A.I., we feel it needs to be everlasting across generations and carry on stories of individuals. We like to think only a fully users-owned approach would make our vision possible.
The nature of public legders allows anyone to collabrate, and the founding team is just a bootstraper to push the entire platform to a state where everyone can get involved.

We are busy processing the data and developing a new site for checking NEER rewards and referrals.
Due to the priority of our Metaverse Odyssey Event, and that Kusama’s auctions almost clashed with this event, the team has put more of our focus into this event first. Rest assured, your KSM contribution rewards are safely recorded on Kusama and all the referral data has been kept safe in multiple locations.
✔️When should I expect to know if I won the additional land block gift?
We have been working on this, and the team is debating two main points. We are also taking opinions from the community.
So far, there is some good news to share, the debate is in favor of the majority of the pioneer crowdloan contributors receiving a space in Bit.Country Pioneer. The difference will be around the size, land types, and distribution method. Due to many upcoming events, we aim to announce it in Dec 2021 before Christmas day.
✔️When is the Bit.Country & Metaverse.Network crowdloan on Polkadot?
Historically speaking, a well-performing canary network on Kusama is likely to have a successful outcome on Polkadot. That means if we focus on the Pioneer network on Kusama, we are actually curating value for its Polkadot cousin.
We will start the Polkadot crowdloan when the timing is right. However, because web3 is developing at a rapid pace, this event could be sooner or later. Please stay tuned.

We, Bit.Country & Metaverse.Network, are composing our story of a metaverse odyssey, that is from Pioneer to Continuum by token users, world governors, landowners, and coders.
Ever since Bit.Country was registered on Jan 22nd, 2018 in San Francisco, our team had an idea to play a part in bringing the adoption of digital assets and conducting a new social experiment. With numerous modeling and remodeling, in Mar 2021, we officially incorporated.

Location of land units in Kaosland
We will allocate the land units starting from the Kaosland center out to more rural areas. The priority will be based on total KSM contribution in descending order, and then in time ascending order.
Some terminologies:
* Land Unit is the smallest unit of a Land Block. A Land Unit is 10m x 10m.
* Land Level is determined by land development and community engagement. Fundamentally, the higher the level, the more effort that was required. More details about the Land Level measurements will be released when the application is live.
* Avatar Level is determined by a user’s platform engagement and commitment. It is a measure of how dedicated the user is to the Bit.Country & Metaverse.Network platform. More details about the Avatar Level system will be released when the application is live.
* Land Gift Expiry — 1) Land Units need to be claimed within 3 months of the initial launch or they will be reclaimed by the treasury.
2) Land Units claimed without any activity within 6 months after the first day of launch, will be reclaimed by the treasury.

The treasury will sponsor an initial 1,000 land blocks (10% of Total Land Supply) for Kaosland landowners to claim once they meet the following criteria:
1. User’s avatar reaches level 10
2. And user has at least one land unit in Kaosland that reaches level 10
The land block is used to launch their own individual metaverse with their own map, governance, and world.

Happy New Year 2022!
The team has continued to make progress over the break while taking a bit of time with family. Now we’re back to full steam ahead and growing rapidly with 5 new members interviewed in Dec, Jan and they are starting in the first week. We continue to scale up the resources in software engineering, design, and community management. We will introduce them to the community over the coming weeks.
This is the year we push harder than ever and show we are here to deliver long-term value to everyone who supported us from the VCs in the seed rounds, to our community in the Kusama crowdloan and in the Metaverse Odyssey event.

Utility NEER TGE Date & 2022 Roadmap
The official token generation event for NEER will be at 8:00 PM UTC on 6th March 2022. Around that time, there will be another detailed announcement about the process for claiming NEER rewards (including the process to claim if you contributed to the Crowdloan with a Ledger device).

❗❗ Runtime upgrade: successfully upgrade Pioneer Network to the latest polkadot 0.9.16. All collator nodes have been upgraded and rolled out.
This is critical to make sure the blockchain continue to produce blocks and we’ve implemented this in a timely matter as a result the pioneer network didn’t halt.
* Metaverse Network Portal: Led the #DevelopmentTeam to design and implement the user-friendly Metaverse.Network Portal. This Metaverse.Network portal is the protocol controller that helps traditional users interact with the blockchain network with ease. Users can un-vest token, do token transfer, NFT wallet ,staking and participate in multiple metaverse machine economies.
* Machine Economy: designed and implemented different economic activities in the economy protocol that allows users to participate in blockchain-native economic activities e.g staking, mining on Metaverse.Network portal.
* Smart contract: Metaverse.Network blockchain now is fully integrated with Ethereum compatible layer, user can interact with Metaverse.Network blockchain through Metamask, deploy EVM smart contracts using existing tools e.g Remix, Hardhat, Truffle.
* Oracle MOM: implemented the first data fetching and feeding process. Oracle members can feed data and other pallets can interact with the data for verification and usage.
* Wallet: Ethereum and Substrate wallet address mapping feature has been implemented at the protocol level which allows Substrate wallet address can map with Ethereum wallet address.

For Ledger Users
As Ledger doesn’t currently support Parachains, including Bit.Country Pioneer Network, it won’t be possible to claim your $NEER tokens using the Reward Claim page, if you used Ledger.
The engineering team is currently working on a solution for our community members that used Ledger, so they can claim their tokens to a different wallet should they want to avoid the wait until Ledger supports our network.
A Ledger-specific process will be released in approximately 3 weeks.
For Exchange Users
The exchanges will go through the claiming process and go ahead with distribution to their users once their own infrastructure is ready. Stay tuned for future announcements.

After the token distribution and audit, we will release the protocol portal Dapp of Metaverse.Network and enable token transfer on Pioneer.
Currently, the team is busy finalizing and testing the protocol portal of Metaverse.Network. The portal web app allows NEER users to mine BIT.
Both NEER and BIT are required to participate in a number of use cases available in ME101 — the default Machine Economy model on the network, it is an economic tool for building and growing future communities.
In ME101, users would be able to mine for resources using BIT & NEER and use them to obtain NFTs that have various utilities in the metaverse(s).
For instance, by mining the NFT of an Avatar or wearable, or mine an NFT that has the permission to operate certain services in ME101.

Design requirements
Here at Bit. Country and Metaverse Network, we give chance to everybody in our community, so regardless of you being a professional or an amateur designer, as long as you have a way to express your idea in a visual way, let it be a draw on a sheet of paper, a 2D or a 3D design, you can submit an entry.
Benefits and Rewards
First of all, by participating in this event, you will have the opportunity to share and see the amazing ideas and dream wearables people would like to use in the Metaverse, as well as support other community members with their designs.
The community will choose the winners by emoting on the submissions they like the most. The most emoted wearable of each category will be chosen as the winner.
Winner designs will receive an official Bit.Country and Metaverse.Network Swag and once we enable the possibility to mint NFTs in Bit.Country Pioneer Network, the winning designs will be created and optimized to be used as wearables in the Metaverse(s) and mint 100 samples.
A full set will be sent to each winner and the rest of the designs will be sent to the *Most Active discord members.
The Most Active Members will be defined by their rank on Discord.
The higher the rank, the higher the chance to win the first 100 limited edition avatar wearables created by and for the community.
To make it fair for everyone in our community, regardless of how long they’ve been part of our Discord, the ranking Level has been reset to 0 for everyone (if you were in the top 50 rank before it was reset, check our announcements channel). So, it doesn’t matter if you are already an existing member of many months or you just recently joined the Discord channel, you can still have the chance to win.
Competition Rules
1. All entries must be original and ideally must have a Polkadot, Kusama, and Kaosland concept. No plagiarism or infringement.
2. The theme and graphics used in your design should not contain sensitive topics such as politics, violence, or racism.
3. The use of bots &/or spamming activity to abuse the ranking tool and votes are not allowed.
Breaking any of the rules mentioned above will automatically disqualify you from the competition without any reconsideration.

Keen for an up-to-date, inside scoop on the latest and greatest developments happening behind the scenes of Bit.Country? If yes is your answer, then welcome to the Diary Inside the Metaverse Network.
I invite you to follow this blog, and come on a journey with me as we discover the creative process of Bit.Country. I will update you on design, blockchain and development all from a user’s perspective. I will be your voice for any burning questions. I will break down difficult concepts and dive deep into the company. I will be your eyes and ears in the Metaverse.Network and share with you the potential that is about to be unlocked.
Upon discovering Bit.Country, I was instantly faced with two fundamental questions; What is Bit.Country and What is the Metaverse?
Metaverse is an online social network that blends the physical and digital worlds. It is a space that creates visual experiences, connects people and can be integrated into everyday life for business and pleasure.
A metaverse can be 3D virtual reality or augmented reality.
- 3D virtual reality is best known as a computer-generated environment that is viewed by wearing a headset. Users feel immersed in the surroundings that are completely separate from the real world. They can interact through enhanced images, sounds and vibrations. The user feels like they are physically present in the virtual world.
- Augmented reality is an integration of the physical world environment and a computer-generated digital 2D or the 3D world. In augmented reality, digital content is superimposed into the physical world to create an enhanced experience for the user where they are still present and able to see the physical environment around them.

The metaverse is the next development of the web. It creates an immersive environment for users to connect regardless of their geographic location. The metaverse can be designed to create experiences that go beyond what is currently delivered through social platforms used today. Historically, a phone call or text message was our primary method of connecting. In 2004, Facebook and Facetime introduced online voice and video calling. This advancement enhanced users’ social connectivity as users were able to share photos and videos globally for free.
The metaverse development is the latest advancement of connectivity, it creates a social multiuser environment where people can meet up in real-time to use their skills to earn income and contribute to the growth of communities. The metaverse is a new frontier of social connection.
Bit.Country is a platform that will host multi-metaverses. A metaverse will be created by the users that support each unique community.
Bit.Country’s mission is for users to be able to earn value in each metaverse. This value can be translated into value in the physical world. The focus is to develop an open economy where users can swap between online digital economies and conventional economies in their lives.

The platform has been designed to be user-friendly for all levels of interaction. At the basic level users can contribute to their chosen metaverses through play-to-earn. For example, if your profession is an event organiser you can use your skills to create and host digital events inside a metaverse. If a user wants to interact at a more advanced level they can build and sculpt the style of their chosen metaverses.
Fans and influencers have the opportunity to occupy land blocks inside a metaverse and create games or experiences for other users. Bit.Country will grow into a platform where people will come to work, socialise, play and have fun. Imagination will be the only limitation of Bit.Country’s metaverses.
Initially, Bit.Country will be accessed via traditional web services and later, as technology develops through 3D immersive experiences.

Bit.Country Alpha Testnet Features: What is BIT?
Bit.Country has launched its alpha testnet to Evangelists. It is the first time that the public has been granted access to interact with the platform. Feedback from the testing so far has been exceptional. Evangelists are working to test the initial features, find bugs and are giving general feedback on how the platform can be optimized. The Bit.Country team is working around the clock to execute changes that will enhance user experience to ensure a seamless public launch.
Initial features that have been deployed in the alpha testnet are;

* Global and Local NFT Marketplaces

The platform can seem daunting to first time users. There are many new concepts to learn. Understanding the platform is the first step toward pure enjoyment. If you find yourself scratching your head trying to understand the general operation, please know that you are not alone. I am also discovering the wonders of the Bit.Country Platform.
Upon signing into the testnet I found that the best place to start is the Material Campaign. The Material Campaign generates the economy of Bit.Country. The platform has two currencies; BIT and NEER.
BIT is the in-game token of Bit.County. It is the fundamental material and energy source of Bit.Country. The utility of BIT is to craft NFTs and build objects for the metaverse. It cannot be purchased. Users must earn BIT through interaction with the Material Campaign.
BIT can only be mined or burnt. BIT mining can be observed in the Material Campaign. Every round 27,425 BIT is mined. A round can be likened to a day in the metaverse. A round takes 24 hours, and once the round has been completed the mined BIT is distributed to the users.

The mined BIT is distributed unevenly into four pools;
1 Staking
2 Land Commitment
3 Experience
4 TBA — Unallocated pool source to be confirmed in future development

In the alpha testnet staking is your friend. It is your key to being successful on the platform. The more NEER that you can stake, the more BIT you will be rewarded each round!
NEER is Bit.Country Pioneer’s native currency. It has multiple use cases which will be progressively launched. In the testing phase, the main use application for NEER is staking to earn BIT, and to pay for gas fees. To get NEER users can request a daily deposit from the Bit.Country & Metaverse.Network Discord channel. NEER token is sent directly to the user’s Polkadot wallet.
Daily I collect NEER from the Bit.Country & Metaverse.Network Discord channel. I stake it in the Material Campaign so that I can earn BIT. I use the BIT I have earnt to craft avatar wearables, mint activation passes and builds objects in the metaverse. Upon making a Bit.Country account, the user is given a standard avatar. The appearance of the avatar can be customised by minting wearables using BIT. I burnt BIT to mint a hoodie, beanie, pants and boots to dress my avatar.

Each round 38.42% (10,468) of the mined BIT is allocated to users that have staked NEER. The amount of BIT that a user earns per round is proportional to the amount of NEER staked relative to others users. In the example below, I have staked 797 NEER, and the entire community has staked a total of 47,314 NEER. I am ranked 14th in the staking pool, meaning that 14 other users have more NEER staked than myself. In the round displayed below, I will receive 1.29% of the total 10,468 BIT allocation which equates to 135 BIT.

Each round I claim BIT and it is transferred into My Wallet. In My Wallet, I convert BIT to BIT(Spot). BIT(Spot) should be used to perform in-metaverse transactions. The BIT(Spot) is held in a transactional and on-platform account that is ideal for fast transactions such as minting NFTs and building objects. The bonus of BIT(Spot) is that no gas fees are charged when performing transactions.
BIT is perpetual and settled on blockchain making it highly secure, similar to cold storage. It will be used for future on-chain activities such as decentralised exchanges. Users should accumulate BIT on the blockchain and convert amounts into BIT(Spot) for daily transactions.
NFT Activation Passes are required for a user to gain access to certain testnet features. BIT(Spot) must be burnt to receive the Bunker Activator Pass, the 3D Marketplace Pass and a 3D Vault Pass. These are Metaverse NFTs, they are held in My Wallet and can be sold or transferred to other users.
The Bunker is an underground customizable shelter where users can build assets and invite friends to come to have a look in a multiplayer simulation. The 3D Marketplace is a metaverse game first. Here, users can walk through an NFT showroom labyrinth to browse and interact with NFTs that are for sale. The 3D Vault is a safety chamber that is used to store users' most valuable assets and in-game BIT or NEER tokens.

The BCMN team has been working to ensure a successful launch of the alpha testnet. Evangelists were invited as the first public to test our platform on the 21st of April. We will make the testnet accessible to a wider audience along with the rapid testnet development.
The initial engagement has been phenomenal. Simplicity and functionality of user control are commonly mentioned in the positive feedback. Customization of avatars with wearables and building structures in the Sandpit has been the most talked-about feature.
The creative power of our community and the hard work of our team are combined to build a strong platform. The sole focus of our team at the moment is the development of new release features and delivering a stable testnet to the public.

Activation Pass | Bit.Country Alpha Testnet Feature
Utility is at the core of the Bit.Country network. To grow Bit.Country into a community-owned, decentralized, multi-metaverse platform it has developed activation passes. The purpose of activation passes is to guide users through a journey to gradually unlock new features on Bit.Country.
There are four activation passes;

Using Activation Passes on Bit.Country
An activation pass is a metaverse object, hence once it has been purchased you can find it in My Assets. Three of the activator passes are designed to be held by metaverse owners and the Bunker Activator should be held by all users. Holding the activator passes grants the metaverse community access to all of the features on the Bit.Country platform. Creators will gravitate towards metaverses that hold all of the passes as it allows greater exposure to their content and creations.

A metaverse owner must activate the passes in their metaverse settings. Metaverse Utility is controlled in the Metaverse Settings. Activate all of the settings to discover their features.

NFT Authorization Activator
The NFT Authorization Activator allows metaverse owners, who are holders of this pass to receive NFT listing requests from the public. Community members can request to list an NFT collection for sale on a local metaverse marketplace. Holding the pass gives a metaverse owner power to assign authority to NFT collections to be listed in their metaverse marketplace. Metaverse owners are encouraged to hold this pass as it enables community contribution and growth of their metaverse. Metaverse owners should research the NFT collection and associated utility before authorizing it to be sold in the local marketplace.
Every metaverse has a local marketplace. A unique place to buy and sell metaverse specific NFTs.
Follow along as I list my NFT Collection ‘Fantasy World’ on a local metaverse marketplace. From My Collections, I select the “Sell on other Local Marketplace” button. In the popup type in the Metaverse ID and write a message explaining your intentions to the metaverse owner.

The Metaverse owner has the authority to reject or approve listing the NFT collection. A collection is more likely to get approved by a metaverse owner if the collection has utility that adds value to the community of the metaverse. The NFT collection will appear in the 2D Metaverse marketplace. If approved the listing will appear in the local metaverse marketplace.

Local Metaverse Marketplace
The local metaverse marketplace will only feature NFTs that have been approved by the metaverse owner. The NFTs can only be discovered by the public if they are specifically browsing that specific local marketplace. The public can refine their NFT search using Keywords, filtering on collections, and listing types. All approved collections are discoverable however, users can only purchase listed NFT.

3D Showroom Activator NFT
3D Showroom Activator unlocks the ability for the 2D local metaverse marketplace to be virtually digitized. The Showroom is a virtual gallery where approved NFT collections are displayed. Each collection has its own display room within the 3D local metaverse marketplace. Avatars can walk around to browse and interact with NFTs. NFTs can be purchased using NEER.
The metaverse owner must hold the activator pass in their wallet for this function to be available for its users.

Global NFT Search Activator
Global NFT Search Activator enables metaverse holders to display their NFT collections on the global marketplace. Collections that feature on the global marketplace get exposure to a wider audience compared to only listing only on the local marketplace.
Listing an NFT collection with a metaverse owner that holds the NFT Global Search Activator will allow the collection to be found by anyone browsing the global marketplace. Listings can be filtered if a user wants to search specifically for a metaverse, listing type, or collection.

Bunker Activation NFT
Bunker Activation gives holders access to the Bunker. The Bunker is an underground personal haven for users to build with voxels, props, media and digital assets. It is limited in dimensions and customizability compared to the metaverse and the Sandpit. It is a great starting point for users to build savable assets. Users’ creations are saved in the Bunker whereas in the Sandpit they are not. Bunker multiplayer can be activated to hang out or co-create with friends (Alpha Testnet 0.0.1.5 Release).

Purchasing and Deploying Virtual Land in Bit.Country
Bit.Country metaverses will comprise one or more land blocks. Each raw land block is made up of 100 land units. Metaverse owners will deploy raw land block into the metaverse to build on their virtual 3D online networking worlds.
Initially, a metaverse Map will appear empty as no raw land blocks have been deployed onto it. To start building a metaverse the owner must purchase Raw Land Blocks from the Global NFT Marketplace. Purchased Raw Land will appear in your Wallet as an NFT.

To deploy a Raw Land Block into a metaverse, navigate to the Map of that metaverse. The first Raw Land Block to be deployed into a metaverse must be located at the origin. The origin is the central hub of the metaverse and can be likened to a central business district. Right-click on the map and select to deploy Raw Land Block. After confirming the transaction, you will be able to see 100 deployed land units on the Map.

In the above image I have deployed two Raw Land Blocks into the metaverse map. The land block that is located at the origin has (0,0) coordinates and is highlighted by the blue-purple perimeter. The coordinates of the other deployed land block are (2,1).
Subdividing a Land Block
Land Blocks can be subdivided into smaller Estates. An estate a collection of multiple adjacent land units.
From the metaverse Map right click on a deployed block of land and select to Divide Land Units. Subdivisions cannot be reversed, the estate creation is permanent once the transaction has been confirmed on the blockchain.

Subdivisions can take any shape and once the estate has been made it will show up as a solid colored block amongst the Land Units. The Home page of the metaverse will update to reflect the current land ownership.

Selling or Transferring Land Unit or an Estate
Land ownership can be broken down into Land Blocks, Estates and Land Units. Management of your land should be done in My Assets under Land.

Building in the Metaverse
Once land has been deployed and subdivided users can build on it using voxels and 3D objects.
To enter into the metaverse right-click on the land unit or estate and select Enter Dimension. There are no limits in the metaverse, your avatar can wander and explore the creations. Users are only allowed to build on land if they own it. Once a structure is built and confirmed it will be saved in that metaverse for all users to observe. The red outline highlights the area that you are able to build in.

Changing the Environment Inside the Metaverse.
An environment influences mood and feel. It has the power to change your emotions. On a gloomy, dark rainy day it is common to feel not as energetic and happy when compared to a warm sunny day. Similar feelings can be conveyed in the digital world. Bit.Country is the first-ever platform to allow metaverse owners to fully customize the environment. In the digital world the sky environment is known as a Skybox. Skyboxes create a theme, set the ambience and creates the illusion of distance within each metaverse.

How does the Skybox Environment work?
Imagine that the metaverse is trapped inside a 3D cube and static images are projected onto the inside of the cube. The images will create the background or sky of the metaverse. Opening up the cube will reveal the six textures that will be stitched together to create a 3D world environment. Down texture refers to the ground, up is the sky and the left, front, right and back images form the horizon. Objects such as mountains, buildings and objects in the skybox will always be unreachable by the avatar.
Textures to form a skybox can include photographs, hand-drawn images, or rendered 2D and 3D geometries.

A multi-metaverse project is complex and powerful. It requires a lot of concentrated development effort to enable its wonderful features. The platform will be built to handle multiple users globally and it performs to users’ complex needs. The good news is most of the technical challenges have already been addressed by the tech team, and the first version of the alpha feature set is well on the way to completion.
Through our partnership applications and community feedback, we found the narrative of user-created metaverses continues to flourish. We have an engaging community that supports our network development. We believe that user-created metaverse projects will bring greater adoption of the web3 technology stack. Bit.Country metaverses will bridge web3 adoption from web2 by educating its users within their community and will share its benefits in a fun and interactive way.
Four Phases in the Builders’ Season — AlphaTestnet

Right now, our primary focus is to continue to ship features to the alpha-testnet and onboard more users to participate in testing and feedback.
Looking forward here is a sequence of events that we envision will take place with the rationale behind this being to ensure the product’s readiness. Given the recent incident happening in the web3 space, the team is more conscious about security checks, and testing while the market dynamics and users’ behaviors are also under our close observation.
Phase 1 — Alpha-testnet Exclusive Access (Late Apr 2022 & Now)
In this phase, the goal is to test the initial infrastructure and features of the platform. The team has built the minimal viable product of Bit.Country to test functionality. Evangelists were given access to initial public testing. They excelled in the testing of the building feature. Testers were confidently creating interesting structures using voxels, 3D props and importing 3D models in the Sandpit and Bunker. They were able to mint NFTs collections, customize their avatars with different skin colors and try on wearables. Evangelists also confidently created their own metaverse and were able to carry out NFT trading transactions on the local metaverse marketplaces.

Phase 2 — Alpha- testnet (Public Access Testing — July)
Once the #DevelopmentTeam is confident that all of the features of phase 1 have been evaluated and tested, we will make it open to the public. Everyone will be invited to log in to Bit.Country to join our journey. Users can enjoy launching their own metaverse or creating a personal space in the Bunker. With more active users it will be a great opportunity for the team to do more stress tests.
With wider alpha-testnet adoption, the team will get a chance to gather more user feedback, execute enhancements and iron out potential bugs. We will continue to push updates within this phase as we optimize the platform.

Phase 3 — Go live on Pioneer Network
In this phase, we will push alpha-testnet stable features to Metaverse.Network pioneer which is currently running as a parachain on Kusama Relaychain. Users would be able to use tokens to perform interesting activities on the live app.
Phase 4 — Polkadot Crowdloan
The continuum narrative starts here, given most of the feature competition, once we will participate in the Crowdloan followed by its cousin pioneer going live. There will be a great set of the utility of token NUUM after the launch.
More land blocks will be deployed and metaverse capacities will be enhanced on this network. Existing metaverses on Pioneer would have a chance to be among the greater capacities on the Continuum.

How do Royalty Fees on Bit.Country Work?
Bit.Country focuses on content that is created by the users for the users. NFTs have reformed digital ownership, and royalty fees will implement a new standard for monetizing creative work. NFT artists and collection creators now have the opportunity to receive and control royalties on their work.
What are Royalty Fees?
An NFT royalty fee is a payment that is made to a creator every time that the asset is sold from one wallet to another wallet. It is a fee set by the creator as a percent of the sale price. Every time the NFT is sold on the marketplace, a smart contract will be executed, and royalty fees are paid directly to the creator’s wallet address.
Royalty fees are commonly associated with the music industry. Artists receive a royalty as payment for the right to use their assets. However, it is not uncommon for the artist to experience fraud and theft as tracking usage can be very complex. NFTs royalties will protect the artists. Smart contracts do not allow for fraud and will seamlessly execute every time. Musicians can release songs, albums, and concert tickets as NFTs with royalties embedded into a smart contract to regain control over the value of their work.
For a creative artist, NFT royalties are revolutionary. Traditionally, the creator of physical art such as a painting or sculpture can only benefit from their creation once. As soon as it is sold, the creator is no longer financially affiliated with the piece. If the art is turned into an NFT it will authenticate the art and also allow the creator to apply royalties and benefit from any downstream secondary sales.
Blockchain technology has streamlined the collection of royalty fees. The fee is automatically paid out to the creator as soon as the transaction is executed regardless of any prior usage. Embedded into the smart contract can be the accounting, usage rights, and creator credit information. As soon as the digital asset is sold the creating artist will benefit from their original work.

How Do Royalty Fees Work on Bit.Country?
NFT royalty fees are set the same for every NFT in a Collection. The creator sets the fee to be a percent amount of the sale price. The fee cannot be altered post-collection creation. The maximum allowable royalty fee is 25%. By default, royalties are set to be 0% unless a specific royalty is specified.

To start earning royalties, an artist must list an NFT for sale on either their own metaverse or another user’s metaverse.
Marketplace Authorization protocol
NFTs can be listed on a local metaverse marketplace and on the global metaverse marketplace. To be able to list on the local marketplace the metaverse owner must hold the NFT Authorization Activator pass. For the NFT to be found on the global marketplace teh metaverse owner must hold the Global NFT Search pass. If the metaverse owner also holds the 3D Showroom pass then users can use their avatars to interact with the NFTs. Find out more about activation passes here.
1. List a Collection on your Own Metaverse
To list an NFT for sale in your own metaverse navigate to the Collection and select ‘Approve this collection on your metaverse marketplace’.
If you have created multiple metaverses select which one you would like to sell the NFTs on. Once the transaction is confirmed the collection will appear on that metaverse’s local marketplace. If you hold a Global NFT Search activator pass then the NFT will be searchable on the Global NFT Marketplace.

2. List a Collection on another Users Metaverse
To list an NFT on another user’s metaverse the NFT creator must request permission from the metaverse owner. Permission can only be requested if that metaverse owner holds the NFT Authorization Activator pass.
To request permission to list, navigate to the NFT collection, and select ‘Sell on other local Marketplaces’. Choose the metaverse and write a message to the metaverse owner. Once your collection has been approved you will be able to list an NFT asset for sale on the local metaverse marketplace.

Once the collection has been approved the NFT will be discoverable on that metaverse’s local marketplace. If the metaverse owner holds a Global NFT Search activation pass it will also be found on the Global NFT Marketplace.

NFT collections can be approved to be sold on multiple local metaverse marketplaces at the same time. However, each unique NFT can only be deployed into a metaverse at a time. If you want to move the NFT into another metaverse, it must be removed from metaverse A before it can be placed into metaverse B.
Listing an NFT Asset for Sale
To list an NFT navigate to My Assets and find the individual NFT asset that you would like to list. Click on the three white dots and follow the sell pop-up process. Select the metaverse that you want to list the item on and choose the method of sale, either by auction or as a buy now. The maximum duration for a listing to be live on the marketplace is 14 days. If it has not sold within 14 days the item will be automatically removed.
A listing fee, royalty fee, and network fee will only be charged upon a successful sale.

In the below example, a user lists their NFT for 5 NEER, they will receive 4.3885 NEER after all fees have been paid. If they are the original creator of the NFT they will also receive the 0.5 NEER royalty fee.

Creating an NFT Bundle
A bundle is a collection of NFTs that are sold as a package. To create a bundle click on the three white dots on the NFT asset or under the My Assets, NFT tab there is an option to select Bundles. Once the bundle has been created, you need to add in the NFT assets. To add an asset click on the three white dots and Add it to the bundle.

Selling a Bundle
A Bundle is sold the same way as a single NFT listing. The Royalty fees applied will be to each NFT asset and its sale price. Each asset can have a set buy now or auction starting bid price.

BCMN team has continued to roll out new features post public launch. The main focus is to stabilize all existing and new features, improve UI according to user feedback and optimize the performance to ensure that the Bit.Country application is ready for mainnet launch.
Throughout the past month Bit.Country alpha testnet has been successfully stress tested by the public. The diversity of creation has been phenomenal. Over 3753 unique metaverses have been created. Users have built dinosaurs, futuristic, tropical, ancient, and sci-fi-influenced metaverses. Communities have collaborated to co-create in a single metaverse, deployed animated 3D models, and built metaverses that link back to our NFT marketplace. The economy of user creation is still in its infancy.
The Bit.Country application has been built by the BCMN team to provide metaverse as a service (MaaS). The value proposition of Bit.Country is to give users of all abilities the tools that they require to create their unique metaverse. On the testnet users have been able to easily create and build their own metaverse without technical coding or modeling skills.

The 100 Metaverse Project Competition has been extended to finish on the 14th of August. The fundamentals of the competition were to encourage users to build in the metaverse which would endeavour to push the testnet to its technical limits and uncover bugs.
Testnet 0.0.1.7 launched on the 27th of July. The competition has been extended to encourage users to continue to stress test the latest features while also allowing for more time for users to continue to build and expand their metaverse. User feedback is paramount to further improving the UI.

The New Era of Bit.Country and Metaverse.Network

Dear Friends and Metaverse Enthusiasts,
July and August 2022 were monumental for the Bit.Country and Metaverse.Network team. We successfully launched the alpha testnet to the public delivering the minimal viable product of Bit.Country features. Community fans have been learning our protocol and exhaustively testing all features. To date 3,917 metaverses and 243,118 NFTS have been minted by users on our testnet.
Our team and community has extensively tested and iterated our product. We have made over 1,600 code commits to fine-tune and stabilize our infrastructure and blockchain protocol. Without our community’s fantastic support and feedback, the first metaverse pioneers, it wouldn’t be possible.
On 12.08.2022, Bit.Country alpha version 0.0.1.8 was released. This is the first feature-complete version of Bit.Country testnet and final features to be released before transferring across to our mainnet.

NEER Token Transfer
Our Pioneer Blockchain Runtime upgrade has been scheduled to enable NEER Token Transfers on 30th August 2022.
After runtime upgrades, token holders can transfer NEER. NEER is the native utility token of Metaverse.Network Pioneer and Bit.Country Pioneer. Its primary purpose is to service platform purchases, governance and staking rewards. Check out the diagram below for more details.

What Can You Expect from the Bit.Country Pioneer Launch?
Bit.Country Pioneer features will be progressively released in stages. Details of the initial features to be launched can be found below.
1) It’s Time to Stake NEER in the Material Campaign to get BIT

The Material Campaign is fundamental to Bit.Country Pioneer. BIT is our in-metaverse utility token. It can only be mined in the Material Campaign or burnt through in-metaverse activities such as building in a Metaverse or the Bunker, customizing a Metaverse Home page, and crafting Metaverse Object NFTs.
Every 24 hours a set amount of BIT is mined. Every round BIT is mined. The amount is subject to change to avoid inflation depending on the BIT economy circulation. If users are burning their BIT more BIT will be mined to increase circulation, if BIT is not being burnt through in-metaverse activities the amount of BIT mined per round is reduced. The mined BIT is distributed in the Material Campaign into four categories; NEER Staking (38.17%), Estate Staking (Coming Soon) plus two more categories that are yet to be revealed.

Initially, for the Pioneer Launch, NEER staking will be the only method to earn BIT. Users that stake NEER in the Material Campaign will be rewarded a proportion of the mined BIT. The amount of BIT that each wallet receives per round is determined by Your Staking amount relative to the Total Network Stake. The more that you stake, the higher your ranking will be and the more BIT you will receive per mining round.

* Metaverse building — BIT is burnt when a user places and removes voxels, props, and NFTs in a Metaverse or in the Bunker. BIT will only be burnt if you save the changes that you make. If you exit out of the Metaverse or the Bunker without saving then no BIT will be burnt.
* Crafting NFT Metaverse Objects — Metaverse Objects include avatar wearables and Activation Passes. Minting Metaverse Objects burns BIT and the object will appear in your My Wallet as an NFT. Activation Passes grant the holder metaverse holder utility and access privileges.
* Modifications of the Metaverse Home page — Metaverse owners should use the Pulse News Feed page to communicate with their communities. Posting to the feed burns BIT.
* Customization of Estates — Deployed Raw Land blocks should be subdivided into Estates to allow for community co-building. Each Estate can upload a thumbnail image to make it more identifiable.
*The #DevelopmentTeam is testing and verifying $BIT & $NEER cross-chain XCM transfer with parachains on Kusama.

2) It’s time to Create your OWN Metaverse Project
Bit.Country is your home for launching your own metaverse. You do not need any technical coding or blockchain knowledge. We give you all of the tools that are required to build your own metaverse.
A metaverse is a digital 3D world that can be built by placing voxels, props, 3D models, or NFTs. They are a place where you can build an interactive community hub for your brand.

The Sandpit is the perfect metaverse for you to learn how to build with voxels, and test placing your 3D assets.
The Sandpit is a ‘free-play’ area. The building does not burn any BIT, however, nothing is saved in the Sandpit. When you exit the Sandpit all of the buildings and 3D assets will be cleared. The sky environment is also changeable in the sandpit.

4) Is it Time to Get Serious with Your Building? Welcome to the BUNKER!
The Bunker is your private gallery. To get access to the Bunker you will need to hold a Bunker Activator NFT. You can either craft a pass by burning BIT or you might be able to buy one with NEER on our NFT Marketplace.
In the Bunker, you will burn BIT to save placement or removal of voxels and 3D assets. Show off your Bunker to friends by sharing the URL link and hanging out together by activating multiplayer. The Bunker has a limited building area and features a secret volt to store all of your tokens in the metaverse.

5) Do you Want to Dress your Avatar in the Coolest Swag or get an Activation Pass?
Metaverse Objects fall into two categories, wearables, and activation passes. All Metaverse Objects are crafted as NFTs and once collected will be found in your My Wallet. Owners can also list them for sale on an NFT marketplace.
Avatar NFT Wearables
In the metaverse, your identity is represented by an avatar. The appearance of your avatar can be customized by changing its wearables or its skin color. Wearables are crafted as NFTs. Once you have crafted it, you can dress up your avatar in the metaverse.

Activation Passes
Activation passes are like metaverse keys. Holding the pass unlocks metaverse utility. There are three Activation Passes on Bit.Country. Holders of the activation passes enable certain functionalities.
* Bunker Activator — Grants access to the Bunker
* NFT Authorization Activator — Allows a metaverse owner to accept NFT listing requests for their Local Metaverse Marketplace. If you are an NFT creator but do not own a metaverse you must send a request to the metaverse owner to list your NFT on their local metaverse marketplace.
* NFT Search Activator — Grants metaverse owners the ability for all of the approved NFTs that are listed on their local metaverse marketplace to be discoverable on the Global Metaverse Marketplace.

6) Are you Eager to Mint your OWN NFT Collection?
Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) can be used to grant holders value, benefits, or rewards. They represent digital ownership and prove the authenticity of physical or digital assets.
Your metaverse is home for your NFT culture.
Every minted NFT must belong to an NFT Collection. The NFT Collection can be customized to reflect the utility and rarity of the NFTs that are minted into that collection. Royalty fees can be embedded into individual NFTs so that the original owner will benefit perpetually from every further transaction carried out on that NFT.

8) Local Metaverse NFT Marketplace
Each metaverse has its own local Metaverse NFT Marketplace. It is unique to that specific metaverse.
For a metaverse owner to be able to list other community members’ NFTs on its local metaverse marketplace, the metaverse owner must hold and activate the NFT Authorization Activation Pass. An NFT artist can send a request to the metaverse owner to ask permission to list their NFTs on that local Metaverse NFT Marketplace.
The Metaverse owner can also set listing fees for their marketplace, upon a successful sale a listing fee will be paid to the owner.

9) Global Metaverse NFT Marketplace
The NFT Search page is a compilation of NFTs that are listed on metaverses hosted by Bit.Country. The NFT Search page is public, it does not require a visitor to log in to view the NFTs that are listed for sale.
For an NFT to feature on this page the NFT must be listed for sale on a local Metaverse NFT Marketplace and that metaverse owner must also hold an NFT Search Activator pass in their wallet.

What is Next for Bit.Country Pioneer in the near future?
1) Upcoming XenoForm Event (Raw Land Block Sale in Early Oct 2022)
For Bit.Country Pioneers land economy is the backbone of metaverse creation. To build in a metaverse a user must firstly deploy Raw Land Blocks.
To do this, once you have created metaverse you need to purchase and then deploy Raw Land Blocks into your metaverse. A Raw Land Block is made up of 100 individual land units which total 10,000 square meters of virtual land in the metaverse. The size of one land unit is 10 meters by 10 meters.
A Raw Land Block can be subdivided into different estates. Estates can be sold or transferred to other users.

Upon stabilizing the release of the initial feature set Bit.Country Pioneer will then launch our XenoForm Event. XenoForm is the sale event of Raw Land Blocks to the public.
All Raw Land Blocks are issued by the Treasury as NFTs. The total amount of Raw Land Blocks to be released on Bit.Country Pioneer will total of 10,000. Users will be able to purchase Raw Land Blocks via auction on our platform in our XenoForm Event.
The intention for Bit.Country Pioneer is for users to build metaverses. It is our canary network, we want to true metaverse builders to have the opportunity to showcase their passion and skills to create 3D digital worlds for communities with the utility on our platform.
Raw Land Block affordability is at the front of our minds. We want users to be brave, practice building and create chaotic 3D worlds that will be extremely impressive. 3) Pioneer Map Spot Auction Campaign
Bit.Country Pioneer Map is the hive of our platform’s activity. Metaverse owners should strive to secure a spot on the Map. Owning a spot on the Pioneer Map is like owning a property overlooking Central Park in New York.
The Pioneer Map is a multi-metaverse map that is populated by Bit.Country Metaverses. Securing a spot on the Pioneer Map gives your metaverse maximum discoverability. Location is paramount. The Map will feature epicentres that are indicated by an orange perimeter.
An epicentre metaverse acts as a magnet for like-minded metaverse communities. For example, there will be epicentres for music, fashion, and crypto other niche industries. It is on our roadmap to allow metaverse owners to geodrop tokens within their own metaverse and to select surrounding metaverses in marketing campaigns based on location.

Recently, we joined leading crypto voices at the Token2049 event. Our team was invited by Polkadot to host a booth at this global crypto event. Token2049 Event
On the 29th of September Bit.Country & Metaverse.Network were invited by Polkadot to host a booth at the premier crypto event known as a Token2049. To celebrate the event our team built a Token2049 theme pavilion to showcase to event goers to future opportunities of metaverse utility for brands and projects in our industry.
Token2049 has over 7000 attendees, more than 200 speakers, 200 journalists and more than 250 exhibitors. It was a great opportunity for our project to be on the global crypto stage. In the future, Bit.Country will have the capability to host events like Token2049 in the metaverse. Events will be able to run event campaigns where attendees can be airdropped NFTs, wearables, or tokens to interacting with event exhibits or watching speakers.

Raw Land Block Airdrop for Top 10 Highest Staked Metaverse Owners
* The Bit.Country Treasury will gift a total of 10 Raw Land Blocks to the top ten individual metaverse owners that have the highest amount of $NEER staked by 18th October 07:00 AM GMT.
* A total of 20 wallet-bounded Raw Land Blocks will be allocated to Bit.Country Metaverse Evangelists who have contributed the most to the community.
Apply for a Land Grant/Subsidy
Bit.Country Treasury invites all experienced builders to apply for a Land Grant/Subsidy. Users with proven builder skills (on Testnet or in the Bunker) will be given the opportunity to purchase Raw Land Block(s) for a set price. The Raw Land Block will be wallet bounded with the intention of the builder to use it solely to start creating a metaverse.
Important Note: You must have created a metaverse project to be eligible to purchase a Raw Land Block.
Bit.Country reserves the right to accept or not the submissions.

Utility of Land Ownership in Bit.Country
Landownership grants the capacity of activities and economics for your metaverse.
1. Landowners can build immersive experiences and cultures for their visitors. Building a popular metaverse will create a community. It
supports both Voxel building & 3D assets.
2. Landowners will earn extra $BIT rewards by staking their Estate in the Material Campaign (Roadmap).
3. Landowners can program their land to give their visitors minigame experiences (Roadmap).
4. To be eligible to bid for a spot on Pioneer Map the metaverse owner must have at least 1 Raw Land Block deployed.
5. Raw Land blocks can be subdivided into Estates for other users, but Estates cannot be subdivided. Raw land blocks purchased can
be transferred.
6. To be eligible to purchase a raw Land Block from the Treasury the users must have Created a Metaverse project.
7. We are considering that the landlord will have the ability to rent the estates to others so the landlord doesn’t have to do the
development (Roadmap).

Land Size Matters
* More land means more potential for more estates you can form by subdivision. Thus, more estate holders within your metaverse.
* We are considering using land size to determine the max capacity of live event participation. Small land hosts small events, whereas
large land hosts more users. Note, the event module will allow hosts and attendees to gather with real-time gifts with epic effects.

What is a Raw Land Block
Raw Land Blocks are the fundamentals of the Bit.Country land economy. All virtual land starts as a Raw Land Block. When a Raw land Block is deployed into the metaverse it comprises 100 individual Land Units that are arranged in a perfect square that is 10 Land Units by 10 Land Units.

Raw Land Blocks are purchased from the Bit.Country Treasury and then deployed into a Metaverse. Once deployed the Raw Land Block turns into 100 Land Units that collectively span 10,000 m2 of virtual land.
What is a Land Unit?
A Land Unit is the smallest buildable area in a metaverse, it is 10 m wide by 10 m long. The total area of a Land Unit in the metaverse is 100 square meters. Each Land Unit has a unique coordinate positioned inside that deployed Raw Land Block. All Land Units are NFTs and can be transferred to different wallets or sold on the NFT marketplace.

All of the individual 100 Land Units that make up a deployed Raw Land Block have unique metaverse coordinates.

What is an Estate?
Estates can be created to increase buildable land area. A minimum of two adjacent Land Units can be grouped together to create an Estate. Formation of an Estate transforms the individual Land Unit NFTs into a singular Estate NFT, it is an irreversible action. Estates can be created by either a metaverse owner or a user if they own adjacent Land Units.

What is the Pioneer Map?
The Pioneer Map is a public map that hosts multiple different metaverses. A metaverse can be co-built by a community or solely built by an individual. For a metaverse to be collectively built the metaverse owner must sell or transfer Land Units or Estates to its community via the NFT marketplace. Estates take on a variety of shapes and are customized with a thumbnail image. Individual estates can be observed from the Pioneer Map.
Spots on the Pioneer Map will be auctioned to the public from the Treasury. To be eligible to bid on behalf of your metaverse for a spot the metaverse must have at least 1 Raw Land Block deployed.

Within each Metaverse, the central location will have better economic benefits in the estate staking calculation.

After this event, we will focus on land distribution for crowdloan users in Kaosland. The land will be based on land units, and cannot be used to create your own metaverse. Please stay tuned for the update after the XenoForm events.
