Bitcoin Forum / Re: All you need to know after Bitcoin halving
« on: April 26, 2024, 05:26:07 PM »
No doubt, expectations are very high about the bull run as we have witnessed the halving event already, but let's hope that the investors remain optimistic and don't get restless and impatient if the bull run takes much time to start because we can already see some people being worried why the market hasn't started going up yet when we all know it never happens this early. If retail investors, since we know how impatient they get sometimes, start selling even before the bull run, this might disrupt the plan and the prices might start crashing even before the bull run which will further delay the bull run but some people wouldn't understand this and panic sell.
clearly this works because we are in a bull run, in this market phase we are all very good traders... just throw money into a currency that will riseThis is not how you see the skill of a trader, in bull runs everything is easy :D

now the fun part of the championship is over with Inter winning the scudetto. The only interesting matches now are those relating to places in the Champions League and those relating to the teams that must save themselves in order not to go to Serie B. The endFor me this season is end

Ethereum Forum / Re: Why is Ether (ETH) price up today?
« on: April 26, 2024, 10:10:20 AM »
Outflows from KuCoin on the Ethereum network alone exceeded 800$m over the past 24 hours. The exchange's assets are estimated at 4.8$bn.

Journalist Colin Wu also learnt from three independent sources that last year the founders were planning to shut down the exchange or sell the business.

I'm very sorry about this, I mean if Kucoin were to close: it was a very nice exchange and I had the opportunity to work with them
I'm sorry, for them switching to KYC was a real blow, the regulator then started annoying them all the time
I'm very sorry, I really liked it

Ethereum Forum / Re: Will we really see an Ethereum ETF?
« on: April 26, 2024, 10:08:22 AM »
Meanwhile in the parts around Asia in a little place called Hong Kong, they have approved BTC and Ethereum ETFs, not bad
they can start operating from the end of the month so in reality they are not really active if we want

Ethereum ETF has already been approved in the Hong Kong market but as I have read somewhere we should not expect that there can be a big impact for Ethereum as the market in there is not gargantuan compared to the one in USA. And this is the reason why approval in US will be a game-changing for the Ethereum market. Now, the approval will likely be postponed in May but this does not mean it will not be...this is just waiting for the right and appropriate time and that time can extend into 2025, for sure as things are still being ironed out both by SEC and the ETF applicants. Plus we know that SEC can be playing the dilly-dally game so as to project its regulatory power to the whole cryptocurrency industry and this was quite obvious in the BTC-ETF saga. In the meantime, we should take this as a good opportunity to add more ETH to our portfolio as the price right now is very attractive - below $3200 when its right price should have been $4K already.

these are the ETFs approved in Hong Kong, in practice they can start operating from the end of the month also with the in-kind method, much more convenient than those of their US counterparts
it becomes interesting to understand if this influences the approval of Ethereum ETFs in the USA
it may be some kind of appetizer

Ethereum Forum / Re: Reason why you hold Ethereum
« on: April 26, 2024, 10:05:52 AM »
among other things, in my opinion, there are other coins that are more profitable than Ethereum, but what you buy in profit you lose in safety
while in my opinion Ethereum has the right balance between potential gain and safety that it is not a scam!
That's right, there are coins that have a greater chance of providing greater profits than ethereum, we can also invest there. but if we compare which one is safer and will provide profits even though it is not as big as other coins, I will choose bitcoin and ethereum as priorities and other coins as alternatives.

In my opinion there are less unknown coins, like LINK, that have had appalling performances. Type LINK made 6000%, much more than Ethereum and Bitcoin.
Will this coin have a future? It's difficult to say since it's a project that could fall and fail at any moment.
Good for speculating on that yes.

In my opinion, with big and free money we can make a profit by buying Bitcoin when it is bearish and holding it for the long term, waiting for it to be bullish before we sell our Bitcoin. This is very profitable and there is no need to doubt it, because we know Bitcoin's 4 year cycle.

Yes, this would be the strategy desired by everyone, but it is not easy to catch bear moments, it becomes really difficult to catch precise points to make trades
if you are long, any time is good if you make an accumulation plan perhaps using the Dollar Cost Average strategy

I don't know why you need to post such when we have seen how many halving ?I managed to witnessed at least for the third time but never that I believe that after such will never have a bull market, yeah we have different situations now because wr managed to see breaking of ATH even before halving happens but I am sure this is never stopping here  because Bitcoin increases in longer time at least 6 months and above before we can finally feel the effect of Halving so give it a time mate .

Nobody knows how it will go but Bitcoin, compared to other assets, follows a rather cyclical trend
This helps us understand how the bitcoin cycle works and consequently decipher halvings.
We will still have 33 halvings in total and in this the news was that the first mined satoshi of the 5th era was sold as a rare thing for 3 billion satoshis

today the situation is like this
we have an average fee of 50/60 with a peak during the night
yes they are high but at least they have normalized, first we have to get rid of some tx before returning to normal
clearly seeing low fees in the bull phase is pure utopia

Inter Milan finally locked up the scudetto by beating city rivals AC Milan in a prestigious derby, this was a special way.
But this doesn't surprise us, almost all of us here already predicted it.
Currently, I am only interested in seeing the fate of AS Roma at the end of the season.
Hopefully, they will enter the top four and qualify for the Champions League next season.
Now it's time to party for the team and the fans of Inter Milan.
Next season? Don't worry, there will be a time when we will talk about it :)

some of my friends who are huge AC Milan fans didn't take it well
in fact they even decided not to go to see the match even though they had already paid for the tickets, so much disappointment
unfortunately you can't do much about it if your team wins, you can simply not get angry it's a game and it's meant to have fun not to feel bad

Forum related / Re: No option to self moderate threads here?
« on: April 25, 2024, 10:16:54 AM »
And another headache for moderators: to monitor the sections many pages in depth. If to look at what's happening on BTT, there is a number of trolls who move topics from one section to another and forward. And you can eventually find some topic without a content with multiple answers in some random language somewhere in Hebrew section, because there's no own moderator in there on BTT and the trash topic can stay there for long. Seems terrible! :o
As if you guys have so much work here  ;)
I never noticed any real big problems in bitcointalk forum connected with moving of topics, except few members who were persistent in moving some topics in wrong boards.
It would be nice to show me some stats of members and moderators activity.

A little expensive, yeah? haha, $10 is enough to make you have at least 2-3 meals. (Not sure in your country)
So what you are saing is that 2-3 meals are expensive?  :o

honestly, as a moderator, self-moderated topics don't bother me, on the contrary
they are particular threads and in the hands of competent and recognized fast and reliable people they are threads worth seeing

Furthermore, moderators do not have to see all threads

just look at the queue of reports, the moderator's job is to remedy but the users' job is to report

Forum related / Re: You have received -1 Negative Karma
« on: April 25, 2024, 10:13:43 AM »
you're breaking your head too much, unfortunately as you well said
no one can say anything if you decide to give negative karma
but this also happens elsewhere with the same methods, accounts burned due to arguments
the only thing to do is to stay calm, write, always speak with respect and politeness and it will never happen that you will have a strong disagreement with someone

this is my advice

Solana Forum / Re: Is Solana coin a good investment?
« on: April 25, 2024, 10:10:04 AM »
For small capital earn much profit with bitcoin is very difficult but in altcoin such as solana has bigger chance tobearn much profit. Its the same bitcoin has low risk and low profitable earn when having small fund. But in other side, when having small capital we earn high risk and actually high return profitable to earn with altcoin movement price pump or dump.
For me if I jave around $10k will prefer for investing in altcoin because raise up to 3% until 10% is very possible with altcoin than bitcoin.

exactly, but be careful, even with very large capitals you don't have to earn with bitcoin
with bitcoin you can now only protect yourself from deflation and inflation and other hidden taxes, you don't become rich but you protect yourself and so that's fine if you think about it

Many of us do not know about Bitcoin halving and those who do know a little bit may have a misconception about Bitcoin halving. There are many members who think about halving that halving means the price of Bitcoin is halved. That is, if the price of Bitcoin is 60k dollars on the day of halving, then the price of Bitcoin will be reduced by half 30k dollars. Those of us who think so are completely wrong because the market doesn't halve but the miners block halve and get paid in half. The half payment has a negative effect on the market which causes the market to dump a bit and at that time many investors sell their investments excitedly. Maybe we can understand more details about halving by searching Google or watching YouTube videos.

People didn't even understand bitcoin that bitcoin is a friend, not an enemy
they don't understand that the FIAT currency only makes them poorer and poorer, while bitcoin cannot be manipulated by someone who wants to exploit us in some way
If they haven't understood this, do you think they can understand more complex things? I do not believe

As things stand now, the situation is still improving because we are currently at 75-100 sat/vB, and as I read on BTT, it seems that there are fewer and fewer runes that will be created in the coming days, and this could mean that the fees will begin to return to normal. However, it can be expected that the memopool will be congested again when sales start happening (runes of course).

Yes, the situation is returning to normal, we have transaction fees that have dropped back to normal levels
I advise you to have something on LN if you have to spend, so that when we have these fee storms you can still use the network
best solution when we have storm
