Ethereum is now struggling to even stay above the $200 mark. If we are going to use this $200 mark as the base, then ethereum has to make approximately 1000% before it can hit the 2k mark. At first this wouldn't have been something to bother but now, it seems not possible

Governments and the media have been sworn enemies to bitcoin despite the amazing benefits it promise. Human beings like to give negative labels to what we do not understand. And that is exactly what is happening. No amount of explanation made to haters of bitcoin would be able to change their minds.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Will Bitcoin be centralized?

The main aim behind bitcoin is decentralization. And it is true that bitcoin may not be centralized but my question is has bitcoin achieved the level of decentralization it promises with these different aspects of bitcoin being centralized?

Sorting Box / Re: Which do you prefer? Airdrop? Trading? Bounty?
« on: October 21, 2018, 08:22:58 PM »
If we are to choose according to how less time or money you would put into it, then airdrop is the best. But nowadays almost all the airdrops give nothing more than shitcoins. And to some extent, the same can be said about bounty if it's unsuccessful. Though trading is capital intensive, it also offers more profit.

You can't have a perfect community. Obviously there would be some things which would not go in someone's favour or someone would be offended. That is perfectly normal. But if you have an issue about the forum, channel it to the right source and wait for their response. It doesn't help to be spreading this kind of info around.

When you look at the market trend from previous years, you will see that Altcoins do not immediately follow suits when bitcoin rises temporary. It is when bitcoin has experienced a rise for about a month that the Altcoins follow. And I believe that is what is happening.

Binance exchange enables users to change their bitcoin into USDT which is not affected by the volatility of bitcoin. The USDT is always equivalent to the USD. You might like to try that out. In this way, your bitcoin value is preserved.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Crypto investment? Or?
« on: October 14, 2018, 07:58:37 PM »
If you had asked this question in 2017 and earlier, I would have been very excited to say a big yes. But looking at the current market it is very risky to invest into cryptocurrencies. But everyone and how lucky he or she is.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Alts coin vs BTC
« on: October 14, 2018, 07:03:29 PM »
If you want a short term profit then bitcoin is your best option since the crypto market is bearish and the Altcoins can hardly rise by an inch. But if you have the patience to hodl for a long term profit, then you should consider Altcoins.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: WHY 99% OF ICO IS SCAM?
« on: October 14, 2018, 06:20:02 PM »
Whether the rate is an exaggerated figure or not, the reality is that the scam ICOs are way more than the legit ones. In my opinion, this may be due to the unregulated nature of the crypto world. Thus, everyone can do whatever he or she likes.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Do you agree with KYC verification?
« on: October 07, 2018, 06:30:31 PM »
I do not like this know your customer thing so basically we are on the same page. But I also think the purpose behind KYC is not something we can just ignore. The crypto world has been accused of providing a safe haven for criminals. And kyc will help disprove this accusation since crypto project developers want to ensure that their clients or investors are not involved in money-related crimes.

I have been holding all my bounty tokens for a more promising days ahead. Most of the tokens are far below ICO price when they hit the market and I would be doing myself a great disservice should I sell them out of fears.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: How much your token worth now?
« on: October 06, 2018, 06:17:25 PM »
All my investments have dropped by almost 90% and the recent development on the market shows that it is not going to recover soon. So do yourself a favour by keeping it in mind that you are not alone and continue working for other coins. One day, you may hit a pot of gold.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Why are bounty hunters guilty?
« on: October 06, 2018, 02:57:22 PM »
There is no doubt bounty hunters have played a role in the current doom on the market, since they dump most of their coins when listed on exchange. So bounty hunters cannot be entirely blame free. But majority of the blame has to go to the the holders of the large percentage of the tokens and it's certainly not bounty hunters.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Do you think the governments are scary?
« on: October 06, 2018, 10:20:22 AM »
When you look at governments policies against cryptocurrencies and how they have negatively impacted the acceptance of crypto by the general public, it leaves no doubts in your mind that the government is indeed scary since they control almost everything in their countries.
