Bitcoin Forum / Re: Is it good to hold Bitcoin now?
« on: September 30, 2018, 03:25:46 PM »
Imagine you are one of the unlucky ones who bought bitcoin when its price was approximately 20k, what option have you than to hodl for the next bull run or trade with it? Hodling is good looking at the current market but if you want to make more profit, then I think trading would be better.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: What is your favorite way to cash out?
« on: September 30, 2018, 03:15:28 PM »
Personally I haven't made any cash out from the crypto world before. But what I have seen is that people join escrow market group on telegram and this is how they get their cryptocurrencies sold:
1. State your selling amount and  rate
2. Buyer shows interest and transaction is agreed
3. Buyer sends money to Escrow account by sending screenshot of payment or transaction ID to escrow page  for payment confirmation
4. Escrow Confirms receipt of payment
5. Buyer sends his Address for transaction
6. Seller sends the agreed amount to buyers address
7. Buyer confirms receipt of coin
8. Escrow sends money to seller
9. Seller confirms receipt of payment from escrow
10. Deal Completed 😊

NB: There are other terms and conditions applied

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: People discuss about bull market prediction
« on: September 29, 2018, 05:58:07 PM »
The failure of the predictions of the so called crypto experts should be enough evidence that the crypto market is unpredictable. To me, these predictions are engineered to bring more investors into the crypto arena. One thing for sure is that, as long as cryptocurrencies exists, there would certainly be another surge of bull run but as to when, nobody knows.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Bitcointalk or Altcointalks?
« on: September 28, 2018, 08:31:27 PM »
I personally prefer Altcoinstalk to bitcointalk. The reason being that Altcoinstalk is more user friendly than bitcointalk though the reward amount for bounty programs at bitcointalk is relatively larger than Altcoinstalks. I know Altcoinstalks is in its infancy and will become more better as time goes on

You made a point that you should have maintained the boring and traditional way of investing. Should you have done that, wouldn't you have had the patience to wait? It's barely a year since you invested into cryptocurrencies and you are here complaining? FOMO got you into this "mess" don't let FUD take away the only hope you have of regaining what you've lost.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Can altcoins be independent?
« on: September 27, 2018, 08:17:16 PM »
Just like the US dollar, bitcoin has been the primary crypto currency that all other cryptocurrencies measure against it. That does not mean that the Altcoins depend entirely on it but it is serving as a unit of measurement since there must be a standard to use for all measurement. Sometimes fiat currencies, ethereum, tether, etc are used but as I said BTC is the primary one. It's very difficult to pinpoint with certainty how bitcoin price affects Altcoins though generally it does. Altcoins do not entirely depend on bitcoin for their survival, that means they can and are independent.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Why People Can Not Believe Bitcoin
« on: September 23, 2018, 12:20:10 AM »
The default position to take about something you don't understand how it operates is doubt it until proven otherwise. Because these people do not understand bitcoin, they turn to the media and internet for confirmation and there are lots of FUDs from these areas. So it makes them think that Oh, bitcoin is a scam.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Will Bitcoin reach the highest point soon?
« on: September 22, 2018, 11:32:19 PM »
It doesn't help to be asking the question, "Is this the end of bitcoin or is bitcoin dead?", whilst you are still involved in crypto. No one can predict with certainty when there would be the next bull run. But fortune favors the bold so if you are going to invest, then now is the best time since many people are afraid to do so.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Is Btc Mining that easy
« on: September 21, 2018, 06:54:53 PM »
Involving yourself in sites that promise bitcoin mining with minimal effort is a waste of time and your energy. You need a lot of computing power and expensive hardwares and electricity before you can make any tangible amount from bitcoin mining.

History is the best way of predicting the future. Despite all the fear, uncertainty and doubt surrounding bitcoin, people are still making a living out of it. Bitcoin has proven itself enough to earn the trust of the people. Those who will oppose it would oppose it even in the face of concrete evidence that bitcoin is legit. There is no need trying to convince anyone at this point, time will be the best way for bitcoin to prove itself again.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Only the rich can make profit from Bitcoin?
« on: September 20, 2018, 07:41:49 PM »
It is true to some extent that the poor can make profit from Bitcoin. But this profit would not amount to anything. Because considering the current price of bitcoin, if you are going to make any tangible profit, it means you have to invest huge amount of money. How on earth are the poor going to lay a hand on this huge sum of money to invest into bitcoin?

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Invest in Bitcoin or Bank?
« on: September 17, 2018, 08:15:33 PM »
Some of the banks themselves are using their clients investments to invest into Bitcoin so that they give them small percentage on the money they have invested. Therefore, if you know what the bank is doing with your money and yet gives you a small percentage, why not do it yourself so that all the percentage would come to you?

Bitcoin Forum / Re: How important the existence of whales?
« on: September 16, 2018, 10:50:57 PM »
Though bitcoin is built on the idea of decentralization, there should be a form of centralization to control the circulation of the coin. And it is the whales who are performing this function. Without them, the whole system would crash and the price of bitcoin would be more volatile than what we are seeing.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Is there a coin going to replace BTC?
« on: September 14, 2018, 11:52:12 PM »
As it stands, bitcoin has been on top of its game and it would even take more than a magic for any other coin to displace it. And if a coin would displace bitcoin from its position, then that coin should be independent of bitcoin. Meaning, the rise and fall of bitcoin shouldn't affect that coin in any way.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Bitcoin legalized in Uzbekistan and Iran
« on: September 14, 2018, 11:07:53 PM »
This is just the beginning of the mass adoption of bitcoin. Bitcoin has come to stay and no government would be able to stump it out. And with time, if they realize they can't content with it, they will just adopt it. But won't this legalization have any impact on the decentralization of bitcoin?
