What are your thought on North Korea integrating blockchain technology and creating their own cryptocurrency?

It appears that they have been opening their country to the technology by organizing conferences and inviting people from the international crypto community to attend. The second conference will be held on February next year according to this website https://nkcryptocon.com

Sorting Box / Re: Don't fall for Bakkt giveaway scams
« on: September 28, 2019, 06:09:10 AM »
You have to give it to these scammers, they are always updated with what's happening in the crypto market  ;)

Be careful of these giveaways because 99% of them are probably scams. Always verify the truthfulness of the information you see on the internet whether on emails, social media, or private messages. Do no hesitate to ask in forums like this.

Is IDL the coin you are talking about? If so, I cannot even see it on CMC.
I supposed there are also tokens to be launched in its own blockchain but how can you tell that it can lift the altcoins market when many crypto enthusiasts have not even heard about it?

Can it do better than what Ethereum, Binance, Stellar, and other blockchains have done or doing for the altcoins market?

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Bakkt launched! What now?
« on: September 27, 2019, 08:16:38 AM »
So if more big investors will come in, that means more whales will trade against each other. Let's not forget also that the opposite may happen. I mean more whales will either dump or pump the market depending on their consensus.

Not looking good for those who are anticipating a pump after the bakkt launching. Just two day's after the OP, BTC is barely holding on at $8000. It looks like we will be seeing btc at $7K again and I think that is where it will bounce off.

I think you missed the meaning behind that statement.

"Invest as much as you can afford to lose" simply means do not invest all your money in some projects. The keyword there is all. We have witnessed already that there are newbies who will risk all funds (even those set aside for other things such as education, bills, etc) in an investment then when things don't go according to plan, they feel all the pressure and stress.

Compare that to someone who only invested money that he can afford to lose. He/she is not too worried if the investment goes south. .

Privacy Coins Forum / Re: The Travel Rule and its effect on privacy coins
« on: September 25, 2019, 10:13:52 AM »
The Travel Rule is the latest blow to these privacy-centric coins.  I also wonder how these devs will react once FATF member countries adopt this rule and more and more exchanges will be forced to delist them. I don't think they'll bow down and it is possible that we will see "underground coins" and "mainstream coins".

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: When will cryptocurrency be stable?
« on: September 21, 2019, 06:13:21 PM »
Your topic title and your content are unrelated. Your question on crypto being stable has nothing to do with your complain about holding worthless. Either you edit your title to match the content or do the other way around.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: choose crypto and how to do it
« on: September 21, 2019, 06:05:16 PM »
I guess you just have to become a better trader. Increase skills in TA and FA, create a trading plan then stick to it, and also remove yourself of emotions when trading. These things are hard to do and are not guarantees that you'll win all the time but following those guidelines lessens the risk of losing bad.

If you don't plan on becoming a trader, then try to become a better buyer at least. That means spending time reading WP's and assessing whether a particular project is really needed.

Hello guys, i had thought that what we experienced in 2017( the all time bull run) and the 2018 worst crypto experienced( the all time bear run) could be traced to the curren altcoins bear market that has completely separated it from the Bitcoin prices movement.
Bitcoin so far has witnessed some certain percentage  of good market prices for the past 5 months, unfortunately altcoins generally has been loosing grip of it's prices, fluctuating downwards without recovery. Now, i have reasoned that this could be as a results of the fact that many altcoins investors are unwilling to inverst, like they did in 2017, and consequently the total prices collapsed in 2018. What do you think?
What do you mean by altcoins price was completely separated  from bitcoin price movement? Is it not clear yet the altcoin's price depends on bitcoin? Whatever the price relationship is (bitcoin up = altcoin down, bitcoin down = altcoin down), bitcoin has been dictating how the crypto market moves especially with its increased market dominance.

26
It's the only logical explanation I could really think of actually. There's no reason these big players would push the price down bitcoin other than accumulating more. On the other hand, some TA's already suggested before that there will be another dump and this could be the one they are talking about.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Gas fee for air drop distribution, legit ?
« on: September 18, 2019, 07:15:21 PM »
There are many of these kind of airdrops since 2017 that were busted. Other than asking for a gas fee, some would even ask to "donate" and be given extra tokens. Ignore any of these airdrops asking you to do something other than follow/retweet/share.

Also, do not fall airdrops that only aims to increase twitter/facebook/telegram followings and those looking for referrals.

Blockchain Technology / Re: Blockchain technology, advantages and benefits
« on: September 18, 2019, 07:09:08 PM »
Most would simply say blockchain technology is needed because it makes crypto more popular and the more famous crypto gets, the price gets pumped usually. In my case, I would say logistics. It's easier to track inventory/product movements with less paper works. It also saves a lot of time and money.

I have heard about this bitconnect 2.0 but I have not read anything substantial about it. Can the OP share a legit link where you got the information on the bitconnect comeback? (When I say legit, I mean a website not promoting a wallet)

One of the reasons Bcc collapsed is basically due to poor management and marketing.
I cannot believe you just said that. No amount of marketing and good management can sustain a PONZI scheme. They are bound to collapse at some point. Or do you suggest they keep fooling people?

This is an obvious advertisement for hb dex ;D

To answer the question, the current exchange that I like to use now is Binance DEX. The pairs are still limited but I like the trading competitions that are being held there.
