Internet commerce is growing quickly and experts predict that it could reach $4.13 trillion USD, despite the global economic uncertainty. Of particular interest is the fact that more than 30% of transactions have been done via mobile devices. The key point of e-commerce is not a product or service, but the convenience payment.

Motivation

The payment systems that have simplified the possibility of making payments by one click and keeping a sufficient level of security are the main engine of digital commerce. Fast growing e-commerce is facilitated by flexible functionality of typical solutions and the ability to integrate One-Click payments into any website, sometimes by just one single line of code.

However, to make a payment for a service or goods in tokens ERC20, you need to perform not only one, but two transactions: Approve Spender and Transfer. The first transaction ‘Approve’ must be confirmed, and after that you can make a Transfer transaction — and this limitation of the basic implementation isn’t a whim of UX design.

These moments significantly worsen the overall user experience, as such it’s not surprising that users would prefer services that make the payment process more convenient, even at the expense of their own privacy. If crypto-processing products want to attract an audience, they should approach the level of interaction quality seen with Apple Pay or Google Pay. Fast, simple and intuitive.

Blockchain Technology / Velas increases blockchain grants program to $100M

Blockchain projects with a focus on DeFi, NFTs, gaming and others will be eligible to receive up to $100,000 in funding.

Switzerland-based technology company Velas has allocated $100 million to startups building on top of the Velas blockchain, marking a sizable increase from its initial pledge of $5 million earlier this year.

The grants program is designed to support the growth of the Velas ecosystem and expand its capabilities within Web 3.0, a broad umbrella term that describes the next stage in the internet’s evolution. Like the initial $5 million grants program announced in August, the new funding initiative will allocate up to $100,000 per project. While Velas intends to fund a wide range of projects, developers who are creating solutions for DeFi, decentralized exchanges, nonfungible tokens and gaming will be given priority.

To apply for the grant, startups must include a business plan, pitch deck, technical specifications for their product, project timeline and an explanation for how their project will benefit the Velas ecosystem. Developers selected for the program will receive networking, marking and technical support from the Velas team.

You’ll be able to find work, if you need it, as well as people who will gladly help you out with the work you need to be done. Since it was already planned, following the roadmap Decentralized Freelancing protocol was planned in 2022 Q1 v3.

We’re finally ready to officially announce it. We took our time to make sure the platform is user-friendly and that our users will be satisfied and happy with the platform.

This freelance platform will be on Ideaology, and these two will be intertwined.

We’re still working on improving the platform until we’re completely satisfied. Since this extension is made for you, we want you to be pleased with how everything works. We want you to easily maneuver the platform, easily find everything you need and be time efficient.

This blockchain-based freelance platform will be on Binance Smart Chain (BSC) network with escrow.

Binance P2P is using escrow in order to secure the crypto until both parties have confirmed the desired transaction.
