Many, many years ago, the most popular sport in the world - football (or soccer, call it whatever you want) has become an amazing place for advertising. The biggest companies in the world are visible on the kits of the biggest clubs and best players and nothing seems to change this trend - ad contracts are becoming terrifying and England is the best case study here, because English Premier League is filled with money and cryptocurrency-related companies wants to have a slice of this enormous cake.

At first, Arsenal signed a deal with Cashbet to promote their Cashbet Coin. After that CoinDeal exchange has become reknown for being the first crypto exchange to sponsor the Premier League team – Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C that got into the UEFA Europa League this season (come on you wolves!).

As a huge EPL fan, I am proud to announce that there is another club which is advertising cryptocurrency-related thing. It's Watford F.C. and this season you'll witness a Bitcoin logo on their sleeves. That's right - a straight, Bitcoin logo, nothing else. There is (of course) a company which stands behind the whole project - it's Sportsbet, which is trying to improve awareness around Bitcoin and educate the public on the benefits of using cryptocurrencies.

What's also interesting is that another Premier League club has become a partner with the cryptocurrency exchange - it's Newcastle United and StormGain exchange.

Cryptocurrencies are becoming more and more popular in UK, but the high brand-exposure brought by EPL clubs (especially for those which are playing in UEFA Europa League, or UEFA Champions League) is reaching an absurd level. That's why we'll see some more cryptocurrencies ads in football soon.

Nice thread. Well, I've never thought that some cryptocurrency exchanges will be partners of football team, or that we could bet with Bitcoin. But it is great idea for both sides of sponsorship, awareness among people about crypto will rise and maybe some sport fans become interested with that industry. Hope there will be more such project in the future.
