Hey football fans!

I created this topic to serve as an avenue for us to talk about our favorite EPL teams. Updates on injuries, transfer rumors, betting odds, and many other things related about the league can be discussed here.

Week 8 is just a few days away.

Fixtures:

November 6
Brighton vs Burnley
Southampton vs Newcastle

November 7
Everton vs Man Utd
Crystal Palace vs Leeds
Chelsea vs Sheffield Utd
West Ham vs Fulham

November 8
West Brom vs Spurs
Leicester City vs Wolves
Man City vs Liverpool
Arsenal vs Aston Villa

The match to watch out for me is Man City vs Liverpool. Not only because both teams are in good shape but the odds for both are pretty high right now. At 1.99 and 3.37 money line respectively. This could be a draw but I expect both teams to score.

I also fancy Leicester City vs Wolves because of the odds too (2.32 & 3.31 respectively). I'll probably take LEI on this.

now Leicester is only 1 point adrift of Liverpool. I personally salute them because they managed to appear better when we compare it to MU or Man C.

I am not too much football lover but when i saw the point table man united rank is in number 15, i went crazy. I want to see a doctor dude. What went wrong in the pointable or with my eyes! !! !! Cannot believe that. I didn't watch a game, surely will watch tomorrow.

They have actually been doing well to stay at the top half of the table for the past few years since they won the title. I never really thought they would manage to do that. We all knew that their run to the title was mixed with luck but they've proven years later that they are a contender.

Well, it's a mix of player's unmotivated like Pogba (who requested to leave the club) and the coach who is losing a grip of his squad. The recent loss in Istanbul (UCL) tells me that he's about to be sacked.

but good thing Southampton won the match so that the losses can be covered

Man U still alive and kicking. That win over Everton might have saved their manager's ass from being booted out maybe for another week LOL. I'm just happy I didn't put my bet early because I was really rooting for Everton. Luckily for me, I got busy irl and forgot about the match.

On Southampton vs Newcastle, I didn't bet on a winner but on the total score instead at over 2.5. I was confident that the scoreline would be 2-1. Too bad newcastle couldn;t get a single goal.

Looking forward to Man City vs. Liverpool match. I might bet on total score again as I'm still on the fence here.

I think you need to update the information on the OP since some clubs already did matchday 8. And the positions have changed already, now Leicester City is leading the Premier League table. Let's see how long Leicester City to keep the chance for the victory of the Premier League this season. They seems to have a better performance this year.

I ended up betting on Liverpool but at DNB. I almost lost that one thanks to that penalty miss.

I won on the other match I bet on though (Leicester). It was a narrow win but I don't care. I made a few bucks from it

Have you seen that the table already correct? I don't really know what you are talking about, but you are good if you know the wrong thing and wait for the correct one. To be honest, I don't think so much, just take the picture and post it here.

Is there a guarantee that we will have many changes at the end of this year?
Not sure if any changes, I saw that only those teams on the top 5 lately.

There is no guarantee in EPL let alone in football (unless it's a 100% fixed match). We'll just have to wait and see bigger clubs to climb up the table as I don't really expect the likes of Southampton to remain at the top. I don't think they have enough players to rotate to keep on winning. Chelsea is on a good run and Man City hasn't been beaten in their last five matches even without Aguero.

Of course there is a non-zero chance that they can keep their place at the top of the table but what are the odds? Between a better stacked team like Man City or Chelsea and a smaller club like Southampton, who would you pick with 30 matches remaining?

Winning the league is a bit too far even for Chelsea because they are still in the process of rebuilding. I'd say they will land third or fourth. The title will be fought mainly by Liverpool and Man City. Tottenham can be added in the mix because Mourinho could push that team further. Leicester is a bit of a coin toss.
