This is interesting when talking about using stop loss or cut loss feature. Not all traders know and utilize this. I am sure also that this SL or CL is used by most day trader, but if we are a long term holder, we may not really need this.

You're right Stop Loss or Cut loss is good to Limite the loss.
But This is for daily trader. As holder I think We didn't need this feature.

stop loss in my opinion is very important because when there is bad news that makes the price collapse, many are trapped at high prices because there is no stop loss feature on the exchange, so when there is an exchange that provides that feature, you must be able to use it well.

I believe using stop lose is very important because I believe is better to lose 5% of your fund than to lose 30% of your fund and also when a coin is dumping stop lose is really helpful incase u are not online it will sell it automatically and you can buy back when the price is very low.

Got in a discussion with a friend that recently started learning Technical Analysis and then he said he trades without using stop Loss. I told him no good trader trades without stop Loss. I tried to explain to him about the volatility and how trades can go against you especially as a new newbie and you can lose heavily. He seems adamant and I decided to leave him maybe he will learn from his own mistake if it happens. It seems there are also many traders that trade without stop Loss and I wonder how they do it conveniently.
