What do you think 2022 will have in store? Which do you think will produce the better returns metaverse or crypto?

All altcoins follow Bitcoin price movements, so the question is, can the market cap of the above altcoins surpass Bitcoin? when the price of BTC goes up, the price of altcoins goes up, the list of coins above is good but still follows the price of BTC.

BTC $100k? maybe it will happen after Bitcoin Halving, because I see it from the Annual price chart after BTC Halving the price keeps increasing, this is just my view but you can do some deep research and visit coinmarketcap

I came across a post here and they were discussing how bulrun in 2023 can go upto 24 months and BTC could cross 120$k mark too. But still i believe it could go upto 100k in 2022.
While the new metavers concept sure growing very fast.

In 2022, we can see many new projects taking advantage of the hot trends like metaverse, gamefi and web 3.0. Of course, those that are pioneers on this field will have a big advantage. And then we can also see some fraud projects to be sprouting in the coming year - where trends are you can be sure there will be scammers taking residence. Both NFT, MATAVERSE, Bitcoin/altcoins market may see the light of the year if Bitcoin maintain its growth and some stability in 2022. In 2021, Bitcoin gave very good performance but I'm yet to see some good price movement this January, rather price keep dwindling given me a wrong impression of 2022. In addition to Metaverse i believe web3 projects like DEIP,it will be at the top of the market trends.The fact that it is a decentralized project may also be a reason for preference.
