I think it is Ethereum, Ethereum is the second most popular Crypto coin right now. 
Ethereum is ranked second on Coinmarketcap, Ethereum also has the second market cap volume after Bitcoin. 
I think this is the most decent coin, nothing else.

In my opinion with the little capital you have, you should prioritize coins that already have volatility in the market in investing, in this case such as BITCOIN and ETH are good investment coin for long future. I believe ETH is next bitcoin.

Sir according to me it is difficult to imagine anyone else in place of bitcoin. But as you are saying, if we look at the next way, then we can see ethereum because, after bitcoin, ethereum is discussed in the market.

ETH is the next Bitcoin becasue just this coin hold their level and just for now the other coins are never will hold their level and they just pump like the bubble and then they will comes down. ETH is the next bitcoin this time this is true.

How if Ethereum fixes the problem about gas fees?
I think Vitalik and the team won't let this problem decrease the reputation of the Ethereum platform. They probably try their best to deal with the expensive gas fees. ETH 2.0 may be the beginning of the solution, so there is no doubt that Ethereum to always lead all altcoins. And ETH is the best crypto to replace BTC if it is possible.

No doubt it would be ethereum because it also popular coin but my problem of this ethereum is the network because the fee is really expensive, it reach $20 in just one transaction and surprisingly it can not affect the price and ethereum platform, people still trading ethereum..

Ethereum has been in second place for quite a while now. I am not sure whether any other altcoin ever managed to push it off, even briefly. Did doge ever manage that?
