Is ethereum is better cryptocurrency than bitcoin???

Ethereum came up with a good idea, namely the smart contract and EVM features, we know that many projects have used this feature, but the problem comes when network costs increase, several developers have created L2 solutions for this, you could say that Ethereum will still be the 2nd choice after Bitcoin for investment

I think it got interesting stuff like websitey,community and roadmaps that it was complete back then when it all start. Now i think the amount of Ethereum can over take bitcoin in 2 years. According to price i think Ethereum belong to top 3 crypto gainers for 2024 year.

If I say I will never make Ethereum better than Bitcoin because Ethereum can never be better than Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrencies and the king will always be the king. But if we talk about altcoin then ethereum is best among altcoin. Because Ethereum is the king among altcoins and the king will always be the king. I always like two coins and those two coins are bitcoin and ethereum. Because I have these two coins in my investment portfolio. I will never invest outside of these two coins if I hire invest.

Besides the ethereum high transaction fees, Bitcoin remains the king of all cryptos and I am doubtful if ethereum will ever surpass Bitcoin now or in the near future. Ethereum is potential project and may remain the second most valuable coin on the crypto space. Bitcoin, in my opinion will always be at the. forefront of all coins/token and will remain to drive the market.

So do you think Bitcoin is better because it will always be number 1 crypto coin? You said Ethereum is a potential project, does it mean Ethereum may surpass Bitcoin someday? If it will always be in the second place, it means Ethereum isn't very potential project. Sure, you can doubt that Ethereum probably surpass Bitcoin because there is no sign so far. Bitcoin is too dominate in crypto space, no coin is likely to catch Bitcoin. Whatever the potential of another crypto coin, Bitcoin has the role as the mother of all crypto coins. Considering this, it is almost impossible that Ethereum to replace Bitcoin as the number 1 coin. However, if someday Bitcoin is totally banned by all governments in the world because of some matters, Ethereum should be the candidate to replace it.

However, I also hope Bitcoin will be always the number 1 crypto coin. Meanwhile Ethereum will be in the second place to support the existence of Bitcoin.

For me Ethereum is the unique coin at the highest level there is. Compact coin with huge network functions that is still in safe usage from day one. In all other ways Ethereum pass bitcoin but not in value price. Lets see what will be in next 10 years for these two coins and its rank in crypto world. Either way, profits can be make from Ethereum no matter in what it is phase - bull run or bear.

I think eth will not be able to do anything to compete with bitcoin; bitcoin is still too strong and the best for crypto until now and maybe for the next 10 years, because it is likely that bitcoin will also continue to have updates just like eth will do, and eth's ranking will only be able to come close.Everyone will not miss out on being able to make it an attractive investment and will be able to provide profits for those who hold it. I am as sure as you that it will always provide profits in whatever situation happens to it as long as those who hold it remain consistent in continuing to hold it until the right time to let go.

There are 3-turns of events, in my subjective opinion:

- Adoption of spot ETF-ETH = 10-15% growth in the short term. (if anything, this is not financial advice).
- Denial from a spot ETF = decline in the asset itself + investor distrust.
- SEC, starts manipulating and saying the following: "The cryptocurrency market is volatile, accepting an ETF on BTC was a mistake, etc." Don't forget, the SEC is the biggest manipulator in this deal.

I'm pretty sure. I'll say it again.  ETH will overtake bitcoin in capitalization + will be more in demand than the world's first cryptocurrency. This is the reality that awaits us. Nothing wrong with that.

Both are having issues in terms of Fees/gasses because when there is a congestion the transaction fees increase so much that no one can use it as trading or payment structures .
this gets even worst when you need to send small amount but the fee is almost the same as how much you needed to send but thanks to Bitcoin as there is lightning network that can be use when the amount to send is smaller.
so for me it is still bitcoin or better call other crypto with so much cheap fees without any hassle.

Ethereum was built to be better and solve the problems we had and bitcoin cannot solve them but now after 7 years. we see that Ethereum didn't worked as we expected. the transaction fee are way higher than bitcoin fee. if I had to pick one of them for general use. I would pick Bitcoin over ethereum now.
but since there are many stablecoins and other altcoins with cheap transaction fee now we have alot of options.

Ethereum is certainly a popular currency but its popularity has not surpassed Bitcoin at all. If Ethereum was more popular than Bitcoin the way Bitcoin is currently being talked about, there would be more talk about Ethereum. There are many countries that have accepted Bitcoin directly in their country and some countries have accepted Bitcoin as a legal document in their country. Yes ETH is very strong coin in altcoins but it can't better then Bitcoin. ETH is best for smart contracts and different companies create their own tokens in this chain, due to which ETH is very popular and it is the top number 2 coin in the entire coinmarketcap but the top number 1 in the case of altcoins. But it never compares to Bitcoin. Bitcoin is king in all aspects and ETH will never overtake Bitcoin

Eth is a pos coin no pos coin is better than btc.

Its sad that people like pos coins as they are essentially unsecured and unprotected bonds subject to failure with not a single thing backing them.

While btc has billions dollars of mining gear and infrastructure backing it.
