Telegram wallet NGN P2P platform

Has anyone used Telegram P2P? I checked it out, but the volume is quite low, there are no Sell ads, only Buy ads, and the entire thing appears sneaky. I'm not urging anyone to attempt it; I'm just curious if anyone has traded there before. With the current FG hunt for P2P, we're discovering some hidden P2P platforms in unexpected places.

I haven't come across such, nor have I used it before, and I am not sure if I would be using it anytime soon. We all know that Telegram has become another platform where scamming activities operate. I believe anyone using such a medium should clearly understand that they are making a transaction with a visible and clear risk at hand.

Let this government leave us alone, as we owe them nothing. They have now developed an interest in ruining the lives of P2P traders, but we will surely find our way out.

Well I have to come across or heared about telegram P2p before, with the world today telegram activity are mostly scammers so before taking such action be aware of the risk involved.

Yeah am familiar with this have not actually use the p2p trade though, but I know of someone who has use the wallet in transaction. Told me that the wallet ain't bad, but I don't actually think the wallet would be that safe because it won't be hard for hackers to compromise it , so holding token or coin in such wallet I won't think it would be advisable.

I have updated my telegram this moment to see if I can find this feature in it but I couldn't sometimes me keeps telling me that I will have to subscribe before that feature will show out to me but however, if this feature is authentic then is good to use but we have to be very careful while using it because telegram is a place filled with filtrated people who can easily scam you and go away with your money especially if you are paying first to the buyer you wouldn't know what could be his actions after sending to them. I think there should be strict measures to implement it to reduce scammers and cheaters since one can possibly change his profile details to that of another.

It's clearly written that they are not affiliated to Telegram so who exactly are they and why are demanding KYC, I dey suspect say na some streets bois dey run the matter self cause creating a bot like that dey very easy  and we dey only hear about the matter now wey FG dey battle P2P platforms abi na coincidence? And the whole p2p started from one Twitter NG big influencer account like that but there were so many negatives comments too for the tweet sha.

Omo nah true you talk sha the stuff really dey suspicious, why be say nah now wey be say we dey face this p2p issue from our government. Nah that time dey tey  bring am , this one wey be say e nor dey under telegram seff nah even make am dey some how more , because the person wey run am go fully dey aware of this recent p2p issue. You never can tell if they are legitimate or not, because since it’s telegram it will be easier for them to register with another number and do some self transaction which would increase their ratings (this is a possibility), if anything should convince me that they are legitimate it would be the fact that you need to have a certain amount in your account before you can set up an ads, so to me I feel that balance is to prevent scam from happening (if the bots dev don’t have any unethical action in their mind to do).

I saw the kyc part I laughed - but I not think say anybody go really run that kyc stuff because without the kyc dem fit still use the bot. Abi he get who go come say nah mind he too get make he go come go put pass £1000 for that kind bot once? If at all you want risk am use, nah small small you go dey put take dey test am.

I don check am, who do am try well well but still nothing go make me carry my two eyes go there say nah trade I wan go trade when other secure means still dey exist.

E go good make we avoid that telegram p2p for now, until we don see am say e legit. Because anyhow wey the p2p be, e go cast maybe na legit or not. I no trust scammers because them dey always like take advantage of every situation wey them see.

 No sell ads and only buy ads then there is something fishy. Okay when you done buyer am where you go go sell am? You go come move go another exchange first before selling it. Is it dat di telegram Wallet na from decentralized system? And I believe dat telegram wallet go be centralized one. Op thanks for bringing this to di board. Me I never use and na di first time I dey see this kind wallet.

Normally, you aren't supposed to be able to buy a currency via P2P if the exchange is centralised. However, the KYC here does not prevent you from buying and sending your coin out of your wallet, so without them completing KYC on their other account, they can simply set up ads and then create a new account to buy from themselves, and once the trade is completed, they will move it to their non-custodial wallet. The only disadvantage is that they will lose $2 in fees while transferring it out of the Telegram wallet.

Normally, you aren't supposed to be able to buy a currency via P2P if the exchange is centralised.

Do you know how tough it is to do p2p on decentralised exchanges? The main advantage of purchasing a coin from a DEX is that you receive non-KYCed coins, but the risks of being scammed are significantly higher than on a centralised exchange.

I'm sure you do all your p2p on a centralized exchange so are you discouraging it?

However, the KYC here does not prevent you from buying and sending your coin out of your wallet, so without them completing KYC on their other account, they can simply set up ads and then create a new account to buy from themselves, and once the trade is completed, they will move it to their non-custodial wallet. The only disadvantage is that they will lose $2 in fees while transferring it out of the Telegram wallet.

You can't Buy or Sell without completing KYC, you can only deposit and withdraw coins. The p2p works with KYC to prevent multi accounting.
