Bitcoin still dominates this market over the rest of the cryptocurrency. However, this is unlikely to continue for very long. It has long had big problems with scalability and relatively high transaction fees. In addition, it performs its main function as a means of payment very weakly. Fixing problems and improving bitcoin is extremely difficult because it does not have its own strong team, and those various groups that try to do this, as a rule, cannot come to any agreed decision. These and other problems will become deeper in the future and against the backdrop of rapidly developing altcoins, it may lose its current position as the leader of the cryptocurrency, including price dominance over altcoins.
