Do points even count?

Most like that. So if I notice the points are given according to the rating you have at the moment, if your rank is high, the points gained will also be high. On the other hand also from the quality of the posts you post. If the quality is good and can be useful for others, it will also get good points too.

As the forum grows and get filled with lots of members, the ranking up system will have to change and it will become more difficult to rank higher, that is where the points and the karma will be needed for ranking in the forum.

I don't think points count at all. They don't do anything. They are meant to be swapped for ALTS. You can buy ALTS instead if you want, much easier. The ALTS are suppose to determain your share in airdrops and ICO collections but since there has not been any for forever it doesn't mean anything. I don't understand why they don't collect any ICO or airdrops. Why have something that is a large part of a forum but it doesn't even work. Even in the top right corner it says "Get ALTS tokens for being active on the forum & Referring others >> Find out more!" which I find very annoying. They advertising something that has no purpose.

If primary aim of getting points is possibility to exchange them to tokens... could someone please explain how that ALTT token converts to ETH (or whatever else). Cuz maybe I tripped but I don't remember finding any info on this? (Saw it's around $0,15 in another topic, but can someone confirm?)

While trying to do posting on threads of my choice I wonder if points do really mather with ranking?

points gave us an opportunity for us to earn here through ETH like what they have now once you reach 10, 000 points
you can able to exchange it through contacting the immediate staff here in the forum. Because as far as I know if I am not mistaken every 100 points is equivalent of 1 ATT, correct me if I am wrong.

On whether points really count when it comes to ranking then I must say that the answer to that is no, what matters in the ranking system is the number of post you make, the point is only as a reward you get for your post
