I think You can buy ripple and ethereum.  Ripple is potential coin and good for short term investment.  Ethereum is King of ICO,  I think It  will more popular and valuable at long term.

I still believe bitcoin is the best altcoin to invest in early 2019. Bitcoin is the King of crypto currency.  It will be more valuable at the next year.

I think there is many potential altcoin like ethereum,  ripple, XRP,  Litecoun,  NEO,  EOS etc.  You can choose that coin.  Good luck.

For me, it's very difficult to predict good coins in 2019. Dominant people will choose bitcoin and ethereum in 2019. Besides that, I see ripple and Eos have the potential to increase in 2019.

I like ETH, but last year I have bought Eidoo, Crypterium and KickCoin. I think they have a big future. This is my advice.

in my opinion, it's not the best way if you invest all your money into altcoins, so you have to find out what the best coins are in the future, so you invest in coins if the valuer is the best, so a better suggestion is if you I want to buy an altcoin now, so I think you can buy BTC, ETH, and XRP because this is a good coin for investment and also a very potential coin.

Investing in altcoins is not a bad idea, but investing in one single altcoin is not a good idea. There are lots of coins that'll stay on the long term run, while some will stay and die off with time. Investing in altcoin should be diversified into more than just one coin. EOS, LTC, ETH, XRP are some good coins you can make some very good profits from when you invest on them.

why don't you buy eth? eth will "hardfork". and that made eth prices rise in a few days. very profitable if you buy it and sell it in a few days. no need to join the hardfork event.

i like cardano and stellar. therefore I prioritize buying and investing in both at the beginning of the year. besides the low price, I am sure of the potential of both.

maybe once of 10 top coin on CMC.
and maybe number 2 on CMC that is XRP.
i don't really know because market not showing a grow up and keep like before.
and maybe market will go down again.
