Is it safe to go all in on cryptocurrencie now.. Have we bottomed??

We are still in the dip despite the current surge in the market as it's appearing to be more of being pumped than being dumped, the cryptocurrency market is more better and we are driving at seeing many currencies go back to their normal all time high and possibly make a new one this year, there are two conditions for that, the bitcoin ETF approval or the halving, but majorly on halving is what we expected to see the market rising back.

We are not at the buttom any longer, but it's still safe to invest in cryptocurrency now, we have a little way more forward to go with the market to rise to the last all time high before we experience the bitcoin halving which bullrun will follow after that, but we must know the investment we are taking and understand the possible risk on it, what we cannot afford to risk investing on shouldn't be invested upon, let Bitcoin be the highest constituents of what you're investing and then few other altcoins you can trust and research about.

Actually it depends on the type of project you planning to hold l, if it's project like ICO won't be advisable to go all in  but like BTC and other trusted altcoins you can , but mostly BTC. The crypto market is still experiencing very flexible times and there are cryptocurrency risks. It is not safe to make huge investments right now. If you have to invest then it would be wise to make small investments only. Crypto is too volatile and risky we are not sure if the crypto you want to invest in will make you profit.
I prefer not to invest all your investments in a single crypto instead diversify your investments half of them put them into bank savings since it offers interest of around 2% to 6% it's 100% sure you can gain profit from the bank by saving it and half of your investment is in crypto not a single crypto but multiple crypto like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Doge and Solana just a sample but a good choice as an investment like Solana it's already increased its value since last year more than 5 times.

Just to put into perspective, the post was 2019, so everything, those ETF scenarios are not applicable. And it's obvious by now that it hasn't bottom yet, as we suffered a pandemic in 2020, pulling the price to $3k and everyone is shouting that it's the end of bitcoin, at least that time.

But we have seen how resilient bitcoin is, as after that huge decline due to pandemic, we've seen it goes to a new all time high in 2021 to almost $70k. And thus the cycle might repeat itself again as we are in the halving period and so it will be a massive bull next if the cycle continues.

I think in bull market we can safely invest in good crypto-currencies like Bitcoin and one should not fear for any loss because Bitcoin will most probably gain good value within 2 years.

I believe someone can easily invest 25% of their funds in crypto-currencies that have been in the market for at least 5 years without worrying about any intense losses.

One should be careful when investing in new crypto-projects as they are highly risky as investment because they creators of such coins can easily dump the price of such coins to steal the funds of the users.

Well, we are already heading to the bull market but the price of Bitcoin is still not very bullish. There are predictions that the price of Bitcoin will get to $100k in the coming bull market. Although no body can accurately predict the price of Bitcoin but I believe that the price of Bitcoin will definitely beat the last all time high. With that being said, I think it will be profit to invest in Bitcoin not and hold until the price goes far beyond the price you bought.

I don't usually talk about investing into altcoins because there are so many shitcoins in the market and if you are not lucky, you may invest into those shitcoins that may never give you any profit.

Investing in Bitcoin is the best investment you can have this days but it's not advisable to go all in your capital into Bitcoin.

We have to take advantage of the BTC dominance where most of alts follow the price movement of Bitcoin. To make this, we have to diversify our capital. Instead of investing into Bitcoin only, diversify your capital to invest also in other alts.

Why we should do this? It's because the volatility of Bitcoin is so low which means it takes more time to double your investment while if you invested in legit alts, you can double your investment easily because of high volatility.

But for me, base on my analysis in the market, it's not ideal to do this now because the retracement is not happening yet.

Bottomed already happened on Nov. 2022, and we are in a bullish market now.

OP posted this in 2019. What happened last year is almost the same as 2019.
The year when investors are just accumulating coins. Prices of cryptocurrencies is starting to go up already after a year of hell. More and more people are getting profit because they risked their money during the bear market, and bought some coins.

As for the OP's question, what happened in 2019 is the same as last year, so to answer the question, nothing's safe, and no investment has ever become safe because all of them have risks. If you want to go and invest a huge amount of money into crypto, make sure that you are also ready just incase things go the other way. What I can say is that it's still good to invest now knowing that Bitcoin's price might go up in a few months, and the bull run might happen next year. The price of Bitcoin might be higher than what it was in 2022, but still a good time to buy.

I'm thinking of accumulating more Bitcoin as well now that the transaction fees are a bit lower already.

I guess what you are trying to say, is that op should invest only in trusted cryptocurrency like Bitcoin or some others that are well known. It's also important for him to invest what he can afford to lose.op, I think the market is still very fresh and good for you to invest as the next bull has is yet to take place. We are still experiencing some volatility and soon, just maybe we may hit the next ATH in most known cryptocurrency like Bitcoin or etherum.

I noticed that this thread was created three years ago but it's still relevant today and I guess it will be relevant from time to time or whenever there is a big pump or halving people especially those who just entered investing in Cryptocurrency.
And my advice has always been to do your research and set up the right parameters like the coin's usage and roadmap and who are the people behind the project.
In a market where there is a lot of manipulation and shills you should not rely on what you read from so-called experts, your knowledge on how to spot the right coin to invest is your biggest asset, and the lack of it is your downfall.

I am replying in respect to the market now and how the cryptocurrency market is performing. There is a lot of positive news in the market and it has caused the market to be on an uptrend. A lot of people advise that when a market is on uptrend, it is now always the right time to buy but when it dumps, you can now look for a perfect time to ape in. As the market is now, we don’t know how long the uptrend movement will be and one can certainly miss on aping in now. Everyone’s has their strategies on how they view the market movements and also when to go in and not to go in without giving regards to the side that the market is trailing on. Bitcoin market is full of volatility and one no one is sure the right time to go into the market. Do what you feel will work best for you, if it goes well, you’ll be in profit and if it doesn’t go well, you’ll learn a lesson.
