I have my own opinion that for Ethereum this is a very large altcoins ecosystem.
Then for Bitcoin this is a cryptocurrency that dominates the market and is difficult to beat.
Bitcoin and Ethereum have super strong power and cannot be defeated by everyone, making Bitcoin and Ethereum continue to be in the 1st and 2nd rank of Coinmarketcap.

I don't think ethereum will be dominant, all existing cryptocurrency price movements including ethereum prices will follow bitcoin price movements, so be careful if you have assets in altcoins because when it collapsed some time ago it decreased in price by up to 2 time.

I don't think ethereum will be dominant, all existing cryptocurrency price movements including ethereum prices will follow bitcoin price movements, so be careful if you have assets in altcoins because when it collapsed some time ago it decreased in price by up to 2 time.

As of today, they are the best coins to DCA right now no matter if the trend goes up or down. To be honest, I am at a loss for Bitcoin since I have started DCA last month. It was more than $30k that time, and my 2nd DCA was around $21k+, and I am slightly at a loss for this one. It even got down to as much as $17k+ only before climbing back up in the $20k-$21k range. But I really don’t mind at all, because I am here for the long term. If I had another extra money aside from the current one I have per month, I would DCA with Ethereum too.

You're right , Ethereum and bitcoin are increasing now.
It's good for day trading again.

Wow, most of you guys must be new to this bear market thing. So many poor choices, so many hyped up projects with little substance. Stick to BIG projects with very wide appeal like Bitcoin, ETH, DOT, ATOM. Infrastructure stuff, ecosystems, forget small niche exotic tokens like GALA, Enjin, ZIL and forgotten 2017 dinosaurs like LTC, XRP, XLM, IOTA, VET etc. Also avoid FUD-ed tokens like ADA, MATIC or at least keep positions reasonably small so you can DCA into them over 2 years at least, while they properly bottom out.

I see, the topic still relevant though the thread was made on 2020. I guess it is needed to be lock and we'll create a new one further fresh discussion.

I guess Bitcoin investment will always vulnerable for fluctuations. So, whether we buy at the dip nor at the peak. Still vulnerable to experience the opposite side or the same direction. Risky to invest but more risky to do nothing and wait.
