Title: North Korea and blockchain/cryptocurrency
Post by: ZionRTZ on October 01, 2019, 04:53:07 AM
What are your thought on North Korea integrating blockchain technology and creating their own cryptocurrency?

It appears that they have been opening their country to the technology by organizing conferences and inviting people from the international crypto community to attend. The second conference will be held on February next year according to this website https://nkcryptocon.com

clearly they will be more advanced if the application is correct, because the state plays an important role in all activities in the country.
if the state has determined then it can be concluded what will be done will certainly be even more focused.
but there will be obstacles for investors to follow what they will make because of the country's closed factors from outside parties, especially those that have to do with digital and technology.

Obviously this is good news that they have started to get familiar with crypto and acknowledge the importance of what crypto is, because it will also open the world's eyes that countries that are known to be strict can accept crypto. although maybe they will renewable innovations because the role of the state is very strong in that country.
the good news is that recognition can allow countries to adopt the same position.

as a country that does seem closed and the government plays a full role, it is very possible that if they adopt crypto, they will certainly progress quickly and compete with China. we see developments for the next few years.
