Well, with him we tend to agree more than with Schiff, about whom I just commented in another thread.

Obviously I agree that to protect yourself from fiat currency devaluation you have to acquire real assets that palliate that devaluation and even give you a return. Gold is in a clear uptrend but silver has been on a sideways for several years now. In my particular case I prefer bitcoin much more than gold. Having a piece of gold is not bad, because it is something you can touch, it is beautiful, very liquid and protects well from inflation but bitcoin is much better in many ways and much more profitable.

Yes, its obvious that we should look for other assets to hedge our wealth, stocks, mutual funds, Gold and others. But it's good to hear that he is now talking about Bitcoin and crypto itself. Because before I haven't heard Robert talking about it. He will just give us warning about the impending loom and doom scenario. And then just stop there and will not go any further or advising what assets to invest. He is more on the real state. Maybe he is also a crypto investor now and that's why he included it as a good investment vehicle.

Again this guy is giving financial advicea… Can his name be used without mentioning “Rich dad, poor dad” reference? Because it looks like with predictions, he is trying to sell more books than give some financial hint.

In general I would take “buy more bitcoin advice”, but not because of him. His every business failed. He is giving general advices, but nothing particular. He isnt even an author of “rich dad, poor dad” book, but a co-author.

Robert Kiyosaki is now a very well-known Bitcoin evangelist, telling people how to prepare for the possibility of a big economic downturn to happen in years to come. While nobody can really predict when something will happen and if it can happen in the first place, there is nothing wrong with preparing for it  as it would already be too late to prepare for something when that something is already knocking at the door. People who listened to the Bitcoin advice of Robert Kiyosaki when BTC was just around $30K in price are now smiling and celebrating...now if anyone will go for Bitcoin now and then after halving the price can go beyond $100K then the advice is serving well. Now, if in case the doom and gloom scenario he is saying can come true then people who took action would be much prepared than those who just shrugged him off.

I think there's nothing wrong with that advise from Robert Kiyosaki. One thing that I don't like, is that him like being more on social media in the last couple of years now and it seems that he is for the clout and for the exposure.

But if you look at his loom and doom prediction, it could be that he just really know or has seen the signs before and that's why he is giving us this warning. So it's really up to us whether we believed on him or not. Anyway, we've seen how Bitcoin can done to us, even in the pandemic Bitcoin becoming one of the safe haven.

I would be careful recommending everyone to buy Bitcoin as much as they can, but Kiyosaki purchased a bunch of coins few years ago when it was much cheaper
Bitcoin price is going to go up and down all the time and I think that buying more coins should be done only during bear market, but I could be wrong.

No, because if he's not the author of that "novel"....he is a guy that
- went bankrupt with all his business
- was accused of lying about his courses and lost a lawsuit on that

And more importantly, since we talk about financial advice!!!
This is the guy who advised everyone publically for two years in 2006 and 2007 to invest in real estate!!!!

Listening to this guy about finances is like listening to Spielberg on archelogy when the guy didn't even get the geological era right, but made one hell of a movie.

I don't recommend giving people financial advice, and telling them to buy as much BTC as they can is a very strong financial advice, so many of us know a lot about BTC and we are buying as well, but we do not tell people to buy too. You can tell people what you think about BTC and how high you think the price can rise and then allow them decide what they want to do.

Robert Kiyosaki has been in the news very often nowadays, giving advice after advice, is there something i am missing here?

My opinion is that you should stop giving ears an attention to these people because sometimes their opinions that you adopt can lead you into making decisions that you later regret. The day you realize that these people are already wealthy and can afford to get away with most investment decision they make because they have other solid investments already,  that day you understand the importance of making the investment decision on your own of buying bitcoins.
