Stable Coins Forum / Re: FDUSD volatily
« on: April 25, 2024, 06:18:18 AM »
Thanks for the explanations, guys.
But in practice the biggest growth of FDUSD is ALWAYS coming from the Launchpool. Since you can stake FDUSD when launchpool is announced users are buying FDUSD to stake it and it brings the price above 1.0030+.

That's one possible reason.

I was wondering if there are others such as this one, EXCEPT external factors that you mentioned..

Bitcoin Forum / Looking for a way to optimize my strategy
« on: April 23, 2024, 10:33:25 AM »
Looking for a way to optimize my strategy:

Currently buying BTCUSDT at a certain price and selling it at +2% on a daily basis.
NEVER SELLING AT LOSS. Always waiting for it to reach the buy price + 2%.

I was doing it for a while with good profits, but couple of time I got stuck for a long time because I was holding it till it reached my +2%. So this time I divided the budget into 10 steps, so that if it doesn't reach my +2% for a while I can activate the next step when BTC drops to a certain price and keep doing my +2%.

The division is based on the BTCUSDT, 5000 per step:

Step1: Buy when 1BTC = 60,000USDT
Step2: Buy when 1BTC = 55,000USDT
Step3: Buy when 1BTC = 50,000USDT
And etc.
In total 10 steps.
I personally don't believe that it will ever reach lower than my 10th step, so that's ok for me.

Would love to hear from people who do similar strategies (1. Never sell at loss, 2. Divided the budget), how they decide on their buy signal and how they divided their steps. I feel like my entry points are quite random and could be optimized

Stable Coins Forum / FDUSD volatily
« on: April 23, 2024, 10:24:27 AM »
I am analyzing the FDUSD volatily and I can see that it always goes up to 1.0030+ when there is a launchpool announced and then dips to 0.9980 areas when it's finished.

However, there seem to be other factors that make it go up and down.

Since BTC/FDUSD is fee free and BTC/USDT is not, my assumption that perhaps has to do with users accumulating FDUSD for some reason to buy BTC later or leverage it or something like that. But that's just an assumption.

Did anyone make a decent research on the topic?
Couldn't find anything useful on Google about it.

Cryptocurrency Trading / How would you call a strategy?
« on: March 14, 2024, 08:34:31 PM »
I am using a certain strategy, which is not exactly DCA and not exactly Grid trading.
Does anyone know if there is a strategy that follows these actions:

   - Buy BTC and try and to sell with +2%. Profit from volatility.
   - NEVER SELL at loss. If BTC went down, just wait for it to come back, weeks, months, years.. HODL. This way you never lose, if you believe that BTC will always get back up (which I do).
   - Divide your budget to 10 steps,  so that you can activate each step if BTC rate goes down and you are stuck (let's say if it goes down from 650000 to 60000 you activate next step, then from 60000 to 55000 and then every 5000 so on until the rate drops to 20000, which I don't believe it will fall lower than that so it's fine to me) so that you can keep trading on volatility doesn't matter the price of the BTC at the moment.

My goal is not to maximize profits and speculate on BTC rate, but to always profit from volatility no matter the current BTC price, this way providing a more or less stable income.

I am just looking to know if someone else is using the same and if there is a name maybe for such a strategy?

Thanks

General Discussion / Crypto Insurance
« on: March 14, 2024, 08:32:41 PM »
I am interested in an insurance coverage of 300,000USDT that are stored on my Binance account. I am concerned about Binance being bankrupt same as FTX was at some point and I would like to have a cover for this specific case only.

I am storing my USDT on products in the EARN category that provide me with annual returns.

Is there any insurance you know about that can provide that?

Thanks a lot

Crypto Wallets / Safety of Binance Web3 Wallet
« on: March 14, 2024, 08:25:23 PM »
Binance Web3 Wallet claims to be a safe place to store your crypto assets, because the assets are not controlled by Binance.

Sounds cool, but I have the following question:

If the app that I am using to access the wallet will get broken or just block my access for one reason or another, would I be able to access my wallet then?
Just imagine in theory that the app will break or someone will decide to block my account and that's it.

With other wallets I can use a recovery phrase to access my assets from any other wallet, but in Binance Wallet I can use the emergency option to generate the access codes, however again, if I will lose access to the whole app, because it's broken or for any other reason, I will not be able to generate these codes..
