Have you ever gambled til you don't have money to stake on for further playing then you take a different dimension of staking with a valuable material?

One of the many things that am proud of is that I am not a gambling addict as I decided in my younger days to never be involved in one plus am really risk-averse type of a guy (which can be a big disadvantage in some areas of life though) and losing money with gambling is something I detest. Up to now, with the presence of more accessible ways to gamble and lose my money, I am maintaining that disposition in life. Gambling is not for me and if ever I would be involved in one I would choose to be on the other side like in the business side of things. In my family, pawning or staking something valuable just to be able to gamble is a kind of a cursed things to do.

Yes, I believe that should be in everyone's family. Our previous material are not for the sake of fulfilling our gambling desires. The gambling addicts often sell out the previous material in order to be profitable but in the end they always lose the bets that they place.

I believe you're doing great by not being involved in gambling because I feel bad when I see the addicts who sell off their precious materials in order to fulfil their gambling desires. It's in fact a curse on all those who sell their valuable materials for the sake of gambling.

I haven't and I will never try such since I have stuck with the habit of bringing out 3% of my monthly salary for gambling alone and not going above it.

Staking valuable materials into gambling is what I never learned since I am not gambling to make sure, I make riches out of gambling but instead to entertain myself to try my luck if I can win little or no money from gambling.

When a gambler becomes addicted to gambling, they are ready to stake their valuable products to see whether they can win. Since I am not one "addicted gambler", I will only be betting the little I have, and not to be staking with valuable materials which I can't afford to risk and lose to gambling.

I never experienced anything like this before except for one of my friends who used the house title as collateral for her addiction and now she end up losing it without being able to return it. Gambling is just for entertainment purposes and they shouldn't expect to win on the casino, trading is way more better if you are looking to make profit.

I am not a gambler,and if I'm a gambler I will not go to the extent to gamble my valuable properties. Any gambler that can gamble is valuable properties, is now addicted to gambling and that is a very serious problem in the life of that person.

That's one of the common scenarios for most gamblers which is a sad reality. I don't really imagine anyone coming to the point of using the title of their house as collateral so they can continue gambling. Without realizing their greatest mistake, because the result of this kind of mistake will be problematic not only to the gambler but also to his whole family.

Imagine, the house which comes from the hard-earned money and effort to finally make it possible to have their own house, but in the end, it is only being used as collateral because of gambling addiction.

If I remembered correctly this might resemble into one scene of a movie that if the main character wins he will be having the girlfriend as bet of his competitor I just forgot the name of that movie though. But as for gambling I personally never had experienced this situation where I had to make some collaterals with my bets unfortunately my neighbors do.

At that time I had no money but wanted to bet very big on Brazil victory against France in the 1998 World Cup final.

That was insanely terrible decision mate as you ended up donating you scooter fo that bet. Atleast that might give you a lesson for your next gambling session. I know you regret that decision you've made but we all did mistakes it just happen that yours is much more of a high value I mean you lost something that has sentimental value.

It was crazy and the experience may still remind you of how bad that decision was. I saw a guy who pawned his mobile phone to bet on Argentina in the last world cup but he was lucky Argentina won the match and he was able to get his mobile phone back. So those who take this risky bet have to pay a very high price as there is a chance of losing their favorite things. And that's why it's so important to control yourself while gambling.

Well that depends on the level of which I class the item worths to me because I know I have actually placed some of my things on gambling but what I staked wasn't actually that of use to me but no doubt it was valuable but not just in use and since am not using I decided to stake it hard on a friendly one on one bet with ma friend on playstation duo. Ofcourse I came out victorious but I don't think I will this now again because it's been long I did this.

This would be the last straw, I think if I have to resort to this type of action for it to move further then I would have to say that I would quit gambling but at the same time if I ever consider this as an option then I would be way too lost to even realize that I should stop. Anyone who reaches a level of "should I sell this valuable material to keep on gambling" is already long gone and needs a serious help. I do not mean like intervention from the family or anything like that, I mean literally just a situation that would be psychological help, like actually get some professional therapist to help that person out.

Losing has become a normal thing in gambling and as much as possible you should continue to accept it and this must be an important lesson so that in future gambling the same mistakes are not repeated. In gambling places you have to be careful when making decisions because sometimes the decisions you have taken do not match your expectations on the field.

I only did it twice back in my younger and more aggressive days as a gambler I traded my watch and my BMX bike so I could bet on my favorite boxer the young Pacquiao then beat Eric Morales in their rematch.
I don't know I just knew the young Manny Pacquiao would not let Eric beat him the second time I saw how he trained and he trained hard on their rematch.
It's a risky bet but it fades off.

Thats a remarkable experience, at least you know how it feels to gamble your property, my younger brother too once gambled his bike, but he won that day, he did not stop talking about that thing the whole day .
Gambling you property is not a good thing, we all should be conscious about how we risk our properties for betting...
