Dogecoin Forum / Re: The quest for a better wallet for Doge

Thank you Jamie Thomas and Headley, already tried them all (anyhow, after Mt. Gox scandal I'm leaving no more my funds on places of which I don't have the control on it  :) ). They share all the same problem: they are minimal. I think that having safety and dynamics in the same app would be great. I think it would boost Doge usefulness. As I wrote before, no Doge wallet has support for multisignature transactions. If Melis devs can add support to Doge, then the coin would see a wallet full of new features. Not only multi-sig transactions, but even multi-user accounts, multi-device accounts, spending limits, deep customization, 2FAs, private key owned by the account owner, merge avoidance, etc. (You can check the full list here: Melis, the most advanced multisignature and multiuser wallet, adds Groestlcoin support. Sorry, you have to search in Google. Inexplicably, I cannot post the link.)
None of the existent wallet for Doge can match with that list.

For that reason, I contacted them. Told them if there is the chance that they could work on a Doge implementation on their wallet. They replied that they are willing to do so. For the operation they ask to be able to share a donation address in order to cover the requested costs.

The essence of that long writing is only one!
Use the DOGE Wallet! .

You don't need to bother downloading wallet or searching wallet, you only have Binance account and local Exchange account to save DOGE.
It will make you happy and will not tell you sad again in this thread.

I learned on my skin not to hold my coins on exchanges. I usually use them to buy gift cards, so I need a wallet. And Doge wallet isn't the right answer as far as for now. If there's a chance to improve how to store them and spend them, why not to try it? Currently I use Melis wallet (melis.io) for BTC and BCH, which has some special features that no other wallet has. For example: spending limits, the possibility of doing advanced transactions (i.e. unspents selection), multidevice, multiusers, a special feature able to recognize the access to the wallet by a designated primary device that is the only one able to access secured accounts, accessing the wallet from every other device would be impossible to know that there are hidden accounts (with plausible deniability), private keys in the users' hands, TFA, ecc.

But, expecially for Doge, multisignature transactions that as far as for now are inexistent.

That is just a short list of their features, there are more. For this reason I was wondering if it could be asked their team if they can implement Doge in the wallet infrastructure. You know, in order to give further possibilities to those who use Doge. An advantage over the other coins.

Dear dogecoiners,

I am a long-term Doge hodler and I am having trouble finding a wallet in which store them. Unfortunately Dogecore is a wallet reduced to the bone, with few features and has the disadvantage of being heavy (as well as having to download the whole blockchain). The Light version is not functional: it doesn't recognize the last version of Java. Not to mention the fact that the last update dates back 3 years ago. (sic!) I tried Atomic, but it's torture to wait for the coin screen to load (besides the fact that it's a minimalist wallet). I am aware of a #DevelopmentTeam  that is carrying out a good project and full of features that would be appropriate for the Dogecoiners who wish to have more choice and above all greater security of their funds. With a crowfunding they could start the implementation of Doge in their wallet. I've seen something like this for Groestlcoin lately and I think it would be worth it.
