Greetings to everyone reading this,

Lately I've been having so many thoughts in my head and up till now, I still haven't been able to find an honest answer, so in this article, I'll be asking us a few questions and please I need an honest answer.

IS GAMBLING A PASSION?
So many people are into this gambling thing, sport-betting to be precise, with the goal of making millions out of it some day, but nothing really is showing for it. Every time I do go to power my accessories at a bet-shop, the crowd there is something else. But guys don't you think our young/old fellows are just wasting their money?

Some people just believe if they don't place a bet, they'll never make it in life and to some, they can't stay without visiting the bet-shop for a day, and this leads me to my second question:
DON'T YOU THINK SOMEONE MIGHT HAVE BE-WISHED THESE GAMBLERS?
I can tell of a few persons, who have even sacrifice their school fees, house rent, and even business money just to gamble with it, but even after placing a bet, they still loose. Are these guys even normal at all?

Gambling is a game of fun. It is up to you to devote passion and if only you can control your emotions towards it differential potentials deviating from having it as the fun s d then runs out of mind and began to chase profits unweary to understand you are going beyond fun intentions on why you ever sitted in the gambling board is where you become adamant to contract being addicted which is not a good reputation for any gambler.

Those people that you mentioned are addicted to gambling, and that is why they go as far as selling their properties to gamble. Also those that cannot do without gambling are compulsive gamblers and they started by gambling for profit, before they became addicted due to chasing their losses, and could not control their gambling activities. Gambling should be seen as a means of entertainment, and no one should have passion for gambling.

Isn't the first question you ask simply identified as an addiction rather than a passion? If a person has a goal of making millions it means that person or those people will try to do anything in their capabilities to achieve that goal. They will play non-stop to achieve it as much as they can.

For gambling addiction, the same as I said above, they can't take it without visiting a casino within a day because they have this thinking of what if they win and make it closer to their goal of winning a huge amount of money.

Let me tell you, these kinds of people who will do anything like spend the money they don't own or are supposed to pay a bill for rent, utilities, and so on, are normal people. They often make mistakes as they have a goal of earning quick money. However, if they don't realize what they are doing, I think we can consider them as not normal anymore. These kinds of people might require help from professionals to at least make them think and realize the cause of their actions.

For me, it's both when you have passion for one thing you are addicted to doing it, and you pour your effort and feeling into gambling because it is something that will make you feel alive and rewarded.

This is why it's hard to control addiction to gambling because you are up against a feeling and emotion that you want to experience over and over again, professional will find a way to create a plan to replace these experiences because you cannot just make it stop.

Gambling is more precisely like "addiction" because basically those who gamble also initially only try with small funds but over time the feeling of wanting to get more becomes strong and ultimately "addicted".

Thinking about it, I realize that there seems to be a thin line separating passion and addiction and certainly some elements of the two can be intertwined and linked to each other. So what is passion? According to Google: "Passion is a strong or extravagant fondness, enthusiasm, or desire for anything: a passion for music. the object of such a fondness or desire: Accuracy became a passion with him. an outburst of strong emotion or feeling which can be barely controllable." Then when we look at addiction, Google says: "Addiction is defined as a chronic, relapsing disorder characterized by compulsive drug seeking and use despite adverse consequences. It is considered a brain disorder, because it involves functional changes to brain circuits involved in reward, stress, and self-control." In between the two, passion is very much considered to be normal and in fact appreciated by many people and here someone still retains some control while addiction is considered to be a brain disorder where one has no control of things and must therefore seek help in order to overcome the problem. Now, relative to gambling, I think there is an absence of passion here and more with addiction not unless of course you are a service provider to a gambling business and you have this desire to perfect your craft which is in this case it can be considered as passion. But if you are an gambling aficionado and you have already lost some money then better take a look at yourself in the mirror and tell him that he must change his ways.

A gambler does not become addicted to gambling but first he gets greedy and then he becomes very emotional in gambling and then he becomes addicted to gambling. The main purpose of our gambling is to make a profit, when we gamble to make a profit and when we gamble to make a profit, when we don't make a profit, we feel that we should try harder and gamble again. Whenever such thoughts come to our mind but we gamble again and again when we lose money by gambling then we try to gamble again like this but we become very much addicted to gambling at some point. Let's separate the two to not get confused. They could be passionate about the sports they love and they are also addicted to betting. I don't believe there is such a term as a passionate gambler. There are only different levels to gambling addiction.

That's right, maybe they like sports and they also like gambling, which if they can do both at the same time then it will make them have a different atmosphere.

Addiction has become something that is attached to negative things, and usually addicted people will do everything they can to get what they want. I cannot judge whether all people who like to gamble are addicted but at different levels, or whether it is different from addiction.

I will say that in my own point of view, it depends on the gambler l, most people have passion for most sports, that's why they play sports betting for fun, while most people love playing casino games to try their luck, but some people become addicted to it.

Passion they say drives the world and so gambling is too. I think passion can be equated to "reason" and so it will not be totally out of place to note that every gambler have a passion for gambling. The passion might differ but it is embedded in every gambler. Gambling for money is passion and also gambling for fun is passion too. I will say that gambling is a thing of passion.

To my own believe I think gambling is an addiction because it always make you to have a winnng spirit of always wanting to make a possible outcome from it, always wanting to stake high and win high.

There is another category, is gambling for FUN. There are individuals who play specially in land base casinos to have some fun and entertainment. This people that are saw usually are in groups,  almost all the families are there to enjoy themselves. But personally for me, I was once feel into addiction years ago and I was glad as I was able to get out of it. I still gamble, no doubt, sports betting, someones playing slot games and then win some money. But that's it, at the end of the day, I'll just play money that I can afford to lose. And with that, it's not a passion, but just to take a kick out of it.
