The things is,Blockchain is a ledger that records information like in the form of book keeping. It can help in  improving information or data storage and allow transparency since in most cases the datas recorded can't be changed. Implementing it in the Agricultural sector like all other sector would improve their efficiency. It's some kind of a robotic secretary. Informations recorded can be later used as a reference while improving on an existing concept. In a nutshell, Blockchain been a ledger can help in recording Informations. This as a result introduces benefits associated with proper storage of information. Like it's said, Knowledge is power and information is a concept of knowledge some Blockchain technology already existing are smart farming technology, Food supply chain among others. Their names alone can give insight on the benefits they bring to the table.

Blockchain have proven to be very useful since it's inception and seeing it improve health via SocialFi and GameFI has proven it has the potential to also play a vital role in the agricultural sector. The Agtech blockchain-based Dimitra platform could be another aspect blockchain is playing a vital role in the agricultural sector. There could be others and I feel utilizing blockchain in the Agro sector would be another huge step toward adoption and improvement of healthy living since improvement in qualitative food productivity is the ultimate goal here.

I am looking forward to see the blockchain technology become a big influence and a catalyst for change in the very pivotal agricultural sector. First and foremost, any industry needs correct, updated and verified data and information and certainly in this area the blockchain can help. In another aspect, the blockchain can be utilized to track things most especially with agricultural products so that consumers can be sure of the foods they are eating and farmers to receive real-time data that can help them deal with many things most especially with production and marketing. And with all of these things in place, the government can see the bigger picture and can come up with programs verry much suited to the problems of the farmers and producers and not decide on things just based on imagination. Certainly, farming is close to my heart since my parents were farmers and I am a part-time famer myself...and there are many things that the blockchain can do to make things better for them and make them more productive and profitable and not anymore be victimized by poverty.
