Bottom line is that every investment in cryptocurrencies has its own risk but the good thing about bitcoin is that if you hold it for a long period of time then there is a high chance that you will profit out of it as historically bitcoin never goes down in price relative to time. So for me, hold bitcoin long term in a safe wallet if you are considering this as an investment.
