There will be two opinions when seeing the price of Bitcoin fall to $5K, those who are optimistic and have been in Bitcoin for a long time will see this as an opportunity to increase the amount of Bitcoin they own, while those who are pessimistic even though they have both been in Bitcoin for a long time will be doubtful and afraid so they won't buy it but if still have it will sell it because they are afraid that something bad will happen and they will lose a lot of money.
I will buy it but still with money that I can afford to lose because something bad might happen so when it happens it won't be a big loss but if it doesn't happen at least I have increased the amount of my Bitcoin to get a profit when it goes up, I mean, as investors, we have to make decisions wisely, not just because we only think about profit, but also think about other things that must also be considered.

I know there are other altcoins worth HODLing but I guess my knowledge is quite vague about investing and HODLing altcoins and so I will like to ask the questions.

• How do you know an altcoin will be good for HODLing?
• How many years if surety do you have in HODLing altcoins and which altcoins are you currently HODLing?

If we talk about altcoins then it's just a guess not something that there are precise indicators to be able to judge which altcoins are worth holding, because if we look at ETH, BNB or some other altcoins that are currently stable but at the beginning, they were all in doubt in the minds of investors and when investors continue to hold them it is just a form of speculation.
As for how long it depends on how well it is developed and also what altcoins you hold, those that are already stable are worth holding for the long term but new altcoins are not very feasible for the long term.

This failure is only temporary, there will be improvements although we have to patiently wait for it to happen, and Bitcoin will not always only be considered as an investment commodity because its initial purpose was as a means of payment
