Bitcoin and gold, someone can choose to invest in one, or both, or forget about investing in both, or choose another investment approach because of the knowledge they have of one better than the other.

As a bitcoin believer, I would prefer to have my investment done in bitcoin than in gold. Why I am doing that, is because of the future profits I stand to gain, hodling bitcoin for long. I can make thousands of dollars in gains by hodling bitcoin for at least 4 years.

For gold, can I make such gains? The gold investors will tell us that if they can make thousands of dollars in gains within a space of 4 years compared to bitcoin. That's why people ought to invest in what they know more than the other to avoid making wrong investment moves.

I don't understand... The mine has been there for almost two years. Has the government realized this now or is this decision due to other reasons?. Because although I don't have exact information, I imagine that the air force base has been there for much longer. I suppose the interesting thing about this news would be to know what those "certain improvements and equipment" are, but I doubt we will ever know, considering the secrecy that always surrounds military affairs, and the fact that MineOne Partners Ltd. will also not be able to make statements or give its version of what happened.

Once again the so called threat to USA security is invoked.

A fun fact, if adjusted for inflation, Bitcoin has not yet broken the previous ATH.
According to this article (from March 2024): https://truflation.com/blog/sober-truth-bitcoins-real-all-time-high-is-76-623 the previous ATH of $69,044.77 (Nov 2021), when adjusted for inflation is an equivalent of $76,623.74 in today's money (or March's money).

I think it's a good idea to focus more on the actual value (i.e. purchasing power) instead of looking at the nominal figures only. It helps put things in perspective, especially when comparing prices in 4-year cycles.

When we got to 69k I sold .25 btc

When it dropped to 16k in 2023 I purchased .25 btc

I crushed inflation.

I sold at 71k this year.

I also did well selling at 69k in Nov 2021.

doing point to point does show the weakness of hold.

which certainly happened between nov 2021 and march 2024

Yeah the more occupied you are, the less you spend, especially on irrelevance. Exactly the reason why some people prefer to always get stuck on their computer all day at home or work, because they know leaving the house could incur more expenses for them, so they'd prefer to stay in their house to avoid much expenses.

. this is very true. I have no place to go to outside of my home that won't cost money.

but here in my comfortable home I make money by posting reading and selling gear on eBay.
